This tour is partly wheelchair accessible, a dedicated route is available for visitors in wheelchairs. It starts from Porta Anfiteatro, and it passes Via dell'Abbondanza, where the theatres and the forum can be visited. De gids, Italo, was zeer competent, bereidwillig om in te gaan op vragen, kortom, kent zijn vak. Italo gaf een goede introductie op zowel de herkenbare typische kenmerkem van de structuur van een Romeinse stad, als wel van de organisatie en stedebouw van Pompeï, wat hielp bij ons verder bezoek.

We travelled in a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children of various ages. After a bad start (we could not find the correct meeting point - there are 3 entrances to Pompeii ruins quite far apart), our guide Francesco made our morning and tour fantastic. He was personable, knowledgable and customise the tour to meet the interests of the all the group. If you really want to make the most out of a visit to Pompeii, the guided tour is essential - and this one was fantastic.

Francesco was exceptional and his knowledge of Pompeii brought the ruins to life. He was patient with our questions and took his time showing us around. We could tell it was a joy for him. He is warm natured and passionate, which made the 3 hour tour feel like 1. We could not recommend him enough!!

Veronica, unsere Begleiterin, war SUPER. Ihr ENORMES Fachwissen hat sie unglaublich anschaulich, fachlich über die Maße fundiert und bis ins Kleinste detailliert geschildert und nahe gebracht.
