What to expect
One of the most photogenic stretches of coastline in the world is just a boat trip away from Sorrento. Set out along the craggy cliffs and secluded bays to Positano and Amalfi with plenty of stops for swimming during this full day excursion.Our first port of call will be Amalfi, where you'll have an hour or so of free time to drink up the atmosphere and even sit with a gelato or refreshing drink at one of the pavement-side cafés lining the Piazza del Duomo.Then, sailing past the Amalfi coastline, stopping to swim as we please, we'll make our way to Positano. Here you'll step off the boat onto dry land for some more free time to explore the candy-coloured houses tumbling down steep cliffs and crooked lanes packed with cafés and bakeries. On our way back to port, you'll be treated to a limoncello tasting on board the boat.

Enjoyable boat ride. Good views of the coast. Helpful crew. Boat surprisingly small for 10 people. Uncomfortable seating and potential for accidents as people slid off the benches.

The cruise to Positano and Amalfi was amazing. One of our best experiences ever. We were really lucky as there was only us and another really nice family of three on our small boat so it was very intimate. We definitely recommend going in your swim wear as there is the opportunity to have a swim and in any case we all got very wet from the sea spray on the way back. Also go in sliders / sandals so it’s easy to slip them on and off as they make you take your shoes off getting on the boat.

The boat trip itself was good apart from we were not taken from Sorrento as advertised and we missed a good section of the Sorrento coast And when I complained office TUI. Tried to fob me off with the fact that their supplier can change details of the trip. TUI did not tell us of the change beforehand and TUI sold the trip so it’s TUI’s problem to sort no one else’s TUI please come up with a suitable resolution

We loved that this was a small group, only 7 of us aboard the little boat . The two crew on boat were great . We really enjoyed Positano and Amalfi and our swim in the sea en route.

We had such a fantastic day on this cruise. In our opinion this is the only way to see the Amalfi coast! It's a small group, which is great so you get to see everything. The crew on board were informative and helpful. Amalfi and Positano are beautiful and we had enough time in both but both towns were absolutely standing room only. But luckily we found a table in a bar to cool down. Such a great day.

Really good apart from waits between shuttle bus and getting on boat and the same on return. Needs to be more synchrronised. Had to wait 30 mins between both each time.

Everything from the pick up from the hotel to drop off was perfect, Access to the sites, the Dana our tour guides knowledge, the bus driver Churrios' skill were magnificent Both the sites, Vesuvius and Pompei were incredible. Couldn't fault the whole experience.

For me the boat was difficult to get on and off. A grab handle on the boat and something like a step inside would have helped. Having said that the crew were brilliant in assisting me in this process. I loved the journey and Amalphi and Positano were stunning. The crew looked after us well and we really liked the fact we were a small party. A great day out.

Boat was I initially quite crammed as majority of people sat at back of the boat, wasn’t enough seating but more spread out on second part of trip. Guide was excellent and offered refreshments throughout. Could have had extra half hour in Amalfi as we had to wait around half hour for our hotel bus transfer on return to port. Overall it was a memorable and magical experience that I would recommend.

Fantastic crew, seamless transfers from hotel to boat and back, scenic way to discover the coast. The small boat crew really made the trip, full of advice, knowledge, generous with drinks and their time, lovely choice of stops for swimming. Husband not a boat trip fan, but he really enjoyed this one!

Amazing boat trip. Our guide was brilliant and keep us informed throughout. We stopped twice to swim in the sea alongside our stops at Positano and Amalfi. The sea got a bit choppy on the return but he offered us inside seats if it was too much. Prosecco, beer, Limoncello and soft drinks were offered at various times. There were 12 people on the boat in addition to the driver and guide.

The cruise was excellent. There was a swim stop on the way there and one on the way back which was refreshing in the hot temperatures at the time. The boat crew were great and drinks were available for free on board. Crisps and prosecco and limencello tasting were also offered after the swim stop. The two stops were lovely little towns to see.

We stopped off for a swim but the ladder was broken meaning it was incredibly difficult getting out of the water back into the boat. We all struggled to find the right footing and kept slipping back into the water. We had to be hauled out by the men working in the boat. Some cut themselves and we all ingested the fumes coming out of the exhaust. The skipper was 40 minutes late after amalfi. No shade while waiting and no apology when he arrived. Great places to visit and good fun otherwise

It was such a brilliant day enjoyed everything from start to finish. Could have been told how long journey back was ? Over 3 hours, we loved it on the front of the boat but could have had a stop ? Another swim ? We had one of our best days ever.

The boat crew were brilliant and very friendly. It was nice it was a small group, 10 of us. Loved swimming in the sea and loved visiting the villages of Amalfi and positano. Positano was particularly nice, very pretty. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that black smoke was coming out of the back of the boat and it smelt of petrol. Not good for the ocean as it left a trail of black smoke, but also made me feel sick.

Boat crew were amazing and really great fun. The confusion was on the return coach / taxi. It was pure luck we managed to get back to our hotel. We were waiting ages, put on a coach and only when my husband complained, did we get moved again into another taxi and taken back to the hotel. Its a long, but brilliant day, with a nice amount of time in both locations.

Great pick and transfer. Great experience with time in 2 locations, hints given by guide were good. Only disappointment was the return coach transfer to hotel when we waited 50 minutes for another 2 people to join our coach who were on another boat.

A relaxing trip along the Amalfi Coast with beautiful views, the chance to swim, and visits to Amalfi and Positano. However, it would have been enhanced if we’d had a little bit more guidance from the crew so that we could know what was coming up, see where we were and spot points of interest. The front of the boat was better than the back, but the sun was relentless if you stayed there too long!

Daniel your just was great, however the boat had to be “serviced” at sea about 30 mins into our journey resulting in us sitting on the boat in a bay fir approx an hour. We then only had an hour in both Amalfi and Positano. Still awaiting a response to my complaint.

We enjoyed the trip but it was very long & boat was slower than others. Most annoyed about the change in the pick up arrangements which we received the night before. We were supposed to be picked up at the hotel jetty to be taken to Sorrento but instead we were told to be outside the hotel at 7.10 am to go by minibus. This was 35 mins earlier than original collection & then had to collect from other hotels, journey was an hour each way & not what we signed up for, made it a very long 12hr day.

Fabulous trip small numbers on board a lovely boat. Swim stops, Amalfi town 1 hour. Positano 2 hours but would have preferred it the other way around as not much to do in Positano. Great crew and amazing experience

The trip itself was enjoyable, but the guides let the trip down. We went on this trip in 2019 and the boat driver pepe was so much more interactive and had so much knowledge, that it was made more fun and enjoyable. Where as the guide and driver we had did none of this, they were late collecting us from both Amalfi and Postani, and whilst things can happen no apology, and there was no snorkeling on this one, and there was previously. We also spoke to other people had also but not us

Fantastic hotel and lovely staff. TUI rep Marianne was brilliant and helpful. Negative aspect was coming home. Was picked up 4 hours before departure time. Got to the airport and kept on the bus in a car park for an hour before being driven to drop off point outside TUI book in point and found ourselves then at the back of a large queue with other flights in front of us. Had to find the rep to get to the front and only just caught our flight after running to the gate ????

our transfer from hotel to boat was terrible, the driver was unsafe and on his phone, he then just dumped us in the town and left us, no rep was there to help us or tell us where to go, once on the boat (1 hour after reaching the port) we then had a great time

The guide and boat skipper were excellent, and made most of the day quite enjoyable. However, I would not recommend this tour because the two locations we stopped at were absolutely overrun by tourists. There were cues for restaurants, taxis, busses and just about everything else. I sure the villages are picturesque in the closed season, but in June, and probably the rest of the summer, you will see nothing of the culture and quaintness of these places.

Too long spent in Positano, spend longer in Amalfi far more interesting and you can buy a drink in any restaurant without having to buy a meal . Unlike Positano where restaurants refuse to serve drinks unless you buy food! With exception of first bar on right as you get off the dockside, fair play to them. Fair play to them!

Our guide was amazing!! I think her name was Federica. So knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had a brilliant day! Free beer and water on the boat with a Prosecco to welcome us on board and then a Limoncello just before we disembarked. We stopped at different beauty spots along the way for photos and swimming. The Amalfi coast is out of this world!
