What to expect

Meet your local guide for the day and board on small comfortable coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Drive. Upon arrival, have an approximate 2.30-hour ruins visit. Get the chance to explore one of Europe's most compelling excavation sites in Pompeii. You will have a unique insight into ancient city life. After lunch, depart for Mount Vesuvius. The bus takes you 1000 meters up the volcano, and then escorted by a guide to the summit. From here, enjoy views over the southern part of the volcano and, during days with good visibility, the entire gulf of Naples. On the journey back, visit one of the region's most prestigious cameo and coral factories to see the production of typical Italian carvings.

Excellent

Great tour given by Lucia, very knowledgeable and gave funny anecdotes, pompeii was fantastic, i didn't make it yo the crater on vesuvius as not the best mobility but the history was fascinating and views from the starting point just stunning , super driving from Francesco , almost door to door drop off, wasn't keen on lunch offer as it was full meal rather than perhaps slice of pizza or sandwich which is what I needed at time, others on tour enjoyed the lunch though

Super guide. Dygtig, god fortæller og charmerende. Ikke Small-group ( vi var 29 og skulle have været 31!) Dårligt var at der ikke var tid efter Pompeii til toiletbesøg og evt shopping.

The guide was very informative and helpful. The only thing I would have liked to have been better is more choice at lunchtime. We felt kind of forced to go to the hotel recommended as there was little else to choose from.
