What to expect
Ahoy there! Pirate Tim and his feathery first-mate, Calypso the Parrot, need your help to track down their lost treasure. But first, you need to be fully trained in all the skills you need to become a TUI Pirate. Set sail from the port of Mastichari and cruise towards the enchanting Pserimos Island, just north of Kos. As our seasoned sea captain Markus likes to say, 'Pserimos is a little-known isle with hidden coves perfect for family fun in the sun. We'll anchor in a shallow bay that's ideal for swimming and splashing around'.You'll join our crew in search of the booty, and along the way, everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. There'll be lots of fun activities for everyone to join in with. Our lively pirates will ensure everyone gets into character with a free bandana, face painting and lots of exciting pirate-themed games. You'll learn all the swashbuckling techniques you need, from sword fighting to map reading. And don't forget, a sharp-eyed pirate is always on the lookout for clues, so stay alert for hints that lead to the hidden treasure.When we drop anchor at Pserimos, feel the cool sea breeze as you splash into the water for a swim, or join in more of the playful games and activities we have planned. With the sun shining, laughter ringing, and pirate flags waving, it's sure to be an adventure you and your family will treasure forever.

Both our kids enjoyed the day out and were suitably entertained through out. The Tui staff involved we felt were excellent overall in running the event and looking after the young pirates.

More time on the island would make the day perfect. 1 bus was late so we only got about 90 mins there. Overalll an excellent experience.

The staff worked their socks off and did a great job entertaining the kids with big smiles and lots of energy. I have been on excursions from all inclusive hotels before who offer to provide pack ups of food and drink for day trips. I felt the amount of people on the trip was too many and the boat felt over crowded. I understand you want to make money, but with a child centric experience it detracted a bit.

Staff were uninterested and didn't engage with anyone, no welcome or explanation given, transfers confusing we were tole wrong coach for our return. The pirate ship itself was fun for kids and the island we stopped at beautiful. Once there staff played some games with children. Overall we could have done this independently and felt that going with tui was overpriced. Transfers were also ridiculous for some families over 90 minutes!

Didn't realise that no food nor drink was included in the price. Given that we had a 13 year old in our party this had to pay the adult price didn't feel like value for money. The captain was full of energy and the ship was a proper pirate ship. The treasure hunt was ok but lacked a buzz. We have experienced better pirate cruises to keep the whole family entertained and better value for money. Felt deflated on return.

My two children loved this ( 7 and 3). The “pirates” were very engaging with the children. There were activities on board, face painting, telescope painting and the opportunity for children to paint their sword. Really child friendly and my children loved it. This is definitely for younger children. My children would do it again tomorrow if they could.

The whole experience was superb. Crew onboard were fantastic, the activities were superbly themed and channeled at the children. Exactly how it should be. Psermos is absolutely stunning and gives the adults some time to relax too.

Pirates (TUI staff ) were fab as were boat crew , we travelled with two children 8 and 6 . The whole thing was good suitable for 6 and below . Long boat journey and coach ride prior with little background. Info was given 4 stops in which if your 6 on a coach for a long time isn’t good . Fab role play though . Overall good day but not for families with older children

This trip was a bit disappointing. We did a previous pirate boat trip elsewhere with Tui and it was a great day out, this did not match up . Sea was quite rough and quite a few passengers including those in my party were nauseous and were sick. The time on the island was quite rushed .

There was little info at the time of booking about the details of the trip (didn't know actually where the boat went for example or for how long it stopped). Pick up, tour guides and staff on the boat were great. My children weren't overly into the pirate aspect but they enjoyed it. My biggest disappointment was the length of time spent on the island we stopped at. When we disembarked, we had appox 1 hoir 45 minutes. By the time we had ordered at eaten food at the beach restaurant, we had around 30 minutes to enjoy our time. If we had known the above, I would have brought a packed lunch to eat on board so that we could have really enjoyed our stay on the lovely picturesque island. Overall a good experience but I don't feel that we got to experience it to the full extent

We all had a brilliant time, kids and adults. The pirate ship travelled to a beautiful island where the beach was gorgeous and perfect for the little ones to play. They also had a couple of little shops and bars/restaurants. The locals were so friendly, as were the TUI staff. They had the kids convinced that they were real pirates and I think the kids will remember this fondly forever.

The trip itself was brilliant but the transfers were a shambles. The drop off the drivers weren’t sure what was happening and no reps were there to meet then and for pick up there was no clear notes as to which buses were going to which hotel.

Booking online was quite misleading. On the app it says 8hrs (day out) but really it’s only half a day.
If I knew this then I would of booked elsewhere for a better day out. I wouldn't recommend it and would look else where

I thought the age range should be lower from what is advertised.
I think the choice of boat was inadequate when there were pirate boats that could have offered a better experience.
