What to expect
Monkeys aren't the only thing you'll see swinging through the trees on this day out. At Punta Cana's premier primate park, you can fly through the forest canopy too. Head to Monkeyland's spectacular mountain surrounds to spot super-cute squirrel monkeys and then hit the heights for a thrilling 12-wire zipline course.Kick off with a visit to Casa del Coco to learn all about coconut oil and other organic Dominican products. You'll get to taste a few of them along with the national tipple, mamajuana, too. Suitably refreshed, we'll then head through acres of lush green rainforest and along mountain slopes towards Monkeyland.Home to hundreds of chattering squirrel monkeys, you'll see these friendly creatures at play in their natural surroundings as you tour the botanical gardens. This was a complete waste of a full day of our holiday for a 30 second interaction with a monkey. We were on busses and waiting around in car parks for 5.5 hours. Once there you get a talk about making chocolate then get moved to a place where you can buy the products. Once this is over you get moved in groups of about 30 into a monkey cage where you stand in a line and a man puts a piece of fruit and some sunflower seeds on your head in order to take photos. You get 30 seconds with the monkeys

I know we are visiting a Spanish speaking country but it might be nice if somehow you could group the different speaking languages separate. I.e. English only groups, French only groups etc. For us only speaking English we felt we lost a lot of what was being communicated at times as we didn’t understand what was being said at times. Unfortunately we didn’t all get multiple languages taught at company years ago.

Fantastic trip, well organised and brilliant tour guide was so knowledgeable and group wasn’t too big. Zip wires were scary as it was my first time but all the staff there were amazing and put me at ease even though I screamed on every one of them but I did it ! Monkey land was fantastic experience to and they are such lovely little creatures and very friendly and the open sided truck was great way to travel .

Our guide was brilliant! Very informative and entertaining. The monkey experience was absolutely amazing and alone completely worth the money for the entire day. Seeing how coffee and coco it made was very interesting too.

Prompt pick up, knowledgeable friendly guide and driver. Monkey Land staff were customer and most importantly monkey safety aware. Full briefing of monkey welfare given before activities commenced. Those who were a little nervous were put at ease by the Monkey Land staff. The monkeys looked expertly cared for, and genuinely loved by the staff. After the monkey 'chaos' we were taken on a small tour to see local produce, and taster session. Tour guide staff were knowledgeable and humourous.

Collecting people from other hotels a nightmare as they never turned up, had to go to other hotels just in case there. Needs to be more organized to location pick up. Spent extra time on a small bus when all the other busses had arrived and waiting us!!!!

The day overall was amazing from pick up to drop off although the travel was actually longer than the experience The coffee and cacao plant visit before the monkey experience was also excellent lots of information and we were able to buy goods that supported the local community The monkey experience itself was outstanding safety information given and then the guides were brilliant with each guest

Booked via the TUI app - it was very simple and easy. Transfer was right on time. Driver (Pina) and Guide (Angel) were phenomenal!! I was alone with a 3 (nearly 4) years old and we felt very safe and comfortable. Coffee & Cocoa presentation was lovely, funny and informative. Products are wonderful - it’s one off opportunity to buy some. After the presentation we just walked over to see the monkeys. We loved EVERY MINUTE of it!!! They made sure everyone had their own time. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the monkeys that was the highlight for me The coffee plantation was okay but just another money scheme really so be wary driver and guide Dominican Tom Cruise as he calls himself was really really good. The only thing I can thought with the trip really and the reason I didn’t give it 10 out of 10 was you only got one bottle of water considering it’s very hot, I would’ve expected at least two or three but overall good trip but definitely recommend for you to do it

Supposed to be a two to four hour trip. Late picking us up and late getting back to the hotel. Three changes in coaches before we got there, this should be advertised if this is what happens as it’s not much fun in the blazing heat waiting g for coaches, let’s Aline taking over two hours each way travel. Felt the experience was excellent, but the travel experience to get there very poor. Also stated snack and drink, only got a bottle of water when I asked. Overall very poor value for money.

Pick up was a bit of a mess (40min wait for other groups to arrive at a Petrol station) Our guide Sandiago was amazing & informative & his transition from English, to Spanish, French & Dutch was beyond impressive. Time with the moneys is short (30mins) but it was good fun & we managed to get some great pictures. Felt a little rushed at the end as we got called to next excursion whilst we were waiting for photographs to be sent via email.

We did the zip line & monkey land combo. The zip lines are amazing and the views you see are just outstanding! The staff make you feel very safe and go through the safety signs multiple times. Monkey land was a highlight and was one of the best things I’ve ever done, they jump all over you while you feed them and it was so much fun! We bought the photos that was only 40 dollars and got 36 photos it was just amazing!!

I really enjoyed the monkey feeding experience. Professional photos which are offered are a good quality and reasonable price for the amount of photos you receive. The monkeys seem to be well looked after and you can see the passion that the workers have for their jobs and the monkeys

The kids loved this and so would recommend but two things to note. 1) The transport to the venue was via a meeting point at a petrol station where no one knew what was going on and people were swapping vehicles 2) The meeting of the monkeys is heavily staged, we thought we'd be wandering along and interacting but this is not the case, the monkeys only come to the food which the ranger has and he gives it out but mainly for photos , you cant hold a monkey without a camera in your face.

It was all incredible! We had the best day. The tour guide Young Boy was so funny and was just a brilliant guide, making sure we were all ok. Monkeyland was a wonderful place, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and made wonderful memories. The monkeys were adorable and amazing that you get to feed them and handle them. Such a fun filled day! Highly recommended to others!

Ww loved meeting the monkeys and doing the ziplining our only complaint was that we were told it would be 2-4 hours long but we got picked up at 7.30am and returned to the hotel at about 4.30pm

Not enough time with the monkeys - 30 minutes! Literally only time we got with them was so we could have our photos taken at much expense! Very disappointing. Tour guide also dropped us off too early so we were waiting around. Plantation talk was too long & just a sales pitch. Disappointing

From the moment we got onto the safari truck that pick us up at the hotel we felt looked after and the tour guid Amilio was amazing his knowledge about monkey land and the culture of Dominican people is phenomenal. The monkeys were amazing and the photos we had were brilliant. I loved how they were so stricken about not taking any bags or anything in your pockets apart from your phone or camera was great to protect the monkeys. Really she’s they care about them and not just the money
