What to expect
An exact replica of the ship used in Columbus's maiden voyage is your setting for the day. On a family fun-filled boat trip, you'll venture out into the open seas from Puerto Vallarta. There's adventure, games and water sports to take part in as well as a pirate-themed treasure hunt to keep the little ones entertained.Leaving the marina behind us, we'll set forth into the seas cruising past captivating coastal scenes and getting ready for a day of exploration. You'll be served breakfast on board before it's time to unleash your inner pirate with games, contests and dancing. All the family can also try out different water sports such as kayaking, banana boating, snorkelling and more.There's also an open bar on board plus lunch al fresco, after which you can take part in a friendly game of beach volleyball or the famous treasure hunt. Then head back to dry land watching the sails flutter in the wind after a day full of adventure.

What to remember
Children aged 3 and under go free of charge
Due to local transportation laws, you must take a taxi to the meeting point to start your excursion – the cost varies from hotel to hotel but is around USD 5-10 each way
If your hotel is based in Downtown Puerto Vallarta, and you use the API Marina to access your excursion, an additional tax of MXN 32.00 (approximately) per person will be required – this is a federal tax
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time
