What to expect
Der Aussichtsturm auf dem János-Berg ist der höchste Punkt Budapests. Da er etwas abseits vom Stadtzentrum liegt, verpassen ihn die meisten Besucher. Auf dieser geführten Tour erkunden Sie sowohl den Berg als auch den Aussichtsturm und genießen das Panorama der Stadt. Nachdem Sie Ihren Reiseleiter am Treffpunkt in Budapest am Batthyány-Platz, einem zentralen Punkt neben der Donau, getroffen haben, begleitet Sie Ihr Reiseleiter in einem Privatwagen in die Berge zur Sesselliftstation. Genießen Sie die 20-minütige Fahrt und entdecken Sie die berühmten Orte von oben. Oben angekommen, machen Sie einen Spaziergang um den Hügel, finden Sie den höchsten Punkt der Stadt und besuchen Sie den Aussichtsturm. Finding where to meet the guide took a bit of time. The guide was very informative and even took us back to the ship afterwards. This is very strenuous and required walk up a very steep hill. The climb was worth it though

The driver did not pick us up from the ship and the directions to meet him were difficult to find The driver took us back to the ship on our return and said he could have picked us up but tui would not allow him to, which seemed strange. He has an 8 seater mini bus so could carry 8 tui guest. I did give his care to Scott the rep on board

Excellent guide, pleasant, helpful ,could not do too much for us, very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. Would have been more convenient if pick up had been at the cruise boat , as where we were berthed was far away from the pick up point.

Great experience & we loved the tour guide. Unfortunately we didn't realise that this visit required us to make our own way to the meeting point. Tui sent us details of all of the available trips, we booked & paid for 2 trips at the same time. It is not very clear that only cruise experience trips collect you from the boat.

Lovely trip and great guide. Spoke very good English and was very friendly and informative. Only wish TUI had made it clear that this was an 'Activity' rather than a River Cruise Experience. The meeting point was 75 minute walk from the ship and we were very much on our own....Worked out okay though as once the meeting point was found, our guide did turn up on time. Would have been very easy to miss though. Also, this trip did not show on our Tui account as booked prior to our holiday.

Could have done without the Elizabeth Tower! Guide should have made us aware what a steep incline it was especially with my 83 year old mum. The chair lifts were great on their own. If we had been made aware of what a climb it was to the tower we’d have opted to stay at the cafe.
