Explore the streets walked by greats such as Billie Holiday, Malcolm X, and Michael Jackson while viewing legendary sites like the Apollo Theater, the Abyssinian Baptist Church, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, Strivers’ Row, Hotel Theresa and many more. After the neighbourhood tour, you also have a chance to enjoy a gospel performance at a service in a local church.

What to remember
The tour consists of a 2-hour walking tour and 1.5 hours of a service
Tour itinerary may be modified or canceled due to special events (parades, marathons, traffic conditions)
Out of respect for the congregation, please dress appropriately and refrain from wearing flip-flops, tank tops, or shorts
Due to the popularity and policies of the church, customers who want to attend this tour must stay for the entire service (1.5 hours). Guests are not allowed to leave before the end of the service. Also, on certain Sundays, an ensemble of top singers will perform at the discretion of the church
