From the sea to the central mountains and even underground, you'll see the very best of Gran Canaria with this tour. You'll get up-close to more than 300 marine species in Poema del Mar aquarium, drive through the green valley of Guayadeque and tuck into a light lunch before wrapping things up with free time in the colonial town of Agüimes. Miguel, one of our local guides, says, ‘There's so much packed into one day. But for me, the most interesting part is Guayadeque, which represents a very important part of our prehistory.'First up is one of the most popular attractions in Las Palmas. With panoramic curved windows and countless exhibitions, Poema del Mar is where you'll get lost in a hypnotic underwater world that's home to hundreds of sea creatures. There are electric eels, bull sharks and fish that look just like Nemo. ‘The kids are always happy in Poema del Mar,' says Miguel. You can also take advantage of their state-of-the-art cinema, showcasing hourly screenings of interesting and fun short films.Next, you'll journey through the island's greenest corner to Guayadeque Canyon. It's famed for its cave homes, which the ancient aborigines built in lava bubbles, and winding hiking trails. After exploring, you'll refuel with delicious traditional tapas made from locally sourced ingredients. Then it's on to Agüimes, where you'll have some free time to wander through this pastel-coloured parish perched above the green ravine of Guayadeque. You can see the elegant church, stop for a coffee in a local café or take some selfies by the town's many statues.

It is a lovely experience overall. If you’re afraid of heights, then maybe you should give it a pass, cause driving towards the canyon is a bit adventurous. The driver did a great job though. I loved the aquarium, plenty to see. Lunch was great, you’ll get the taste of local food and wine. I’ll say it is definitely worth it.

Too long picking up other participants,we were picked up at 7.35am and we were still picking up at 9.45 !! . The aquarium was amazing and well worth visiting and right amount of time. Lunch was good,I needed gluten free food and was given a superb chicken salad (thanks to our hotel rep Aniko for organising this for me ). Last stop to local village was 40 mins duration and was simply one shop and 2 cafes and very little history given to us . Guide Gaby spoke more German than English.

I liked the itinerary and the clear commentary in German and English from the guide on the bus. I would have liked a bit more time in Aguimes. Poema del Mar was very good, also the tapas.

The aquarium was fantastic. There were so many things to see and you could tell that they were well looked after and cared for, which was my main concern. It was very informative and could easily entertain tots to old fogies. It would have been better had we had a bit more time there. The mountain visit was interesting, as I couldn't believe that people actually lived in caves - but they do! The food experience wasn't the best, but it was still interesting to sample the local cuisine.

The aquarium was really good. It was nice to drive into the hills and I enjoyed lunch although maybe it wouldn't be everyone's taste (quite traditional) although there wasn't time for a walk after the queue for the ladies' toilet. It was good to see the village although disappointed to find out afterwards that we'd missed the best facade of the church

Aquariam was ok but there is a lot of the same fish in the larger tanks. 2hrs was plenty but because you have to walk one way I can imagine it to be hectic in height of summer. The tapas lunch was amazing. Great food and wine and plenty of it… The house caves was interesting although I do wonder if the cave we were recommended to visit was staged. As the old lady’s grand children ran to open her home up as soon as the visitors arrived with a bowel conveniently placed on the table for donations

I really enjoyed the aquarium and the overall experience on this trip. However, I have a concern about the time it took to pick up the other participants; it was a bit too long. Additionally, I think the group could have been smaller for a more intimate experience

Abby, the tour guide was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the aquariums, amazing to see and spotless ta nks. Tapas was good , loads to try and red wine was lovely. Not much to see in the town trip and not a lot of time but still worth a look. Overall good trip.

Fantastic trip . Enjoyed Everything. Great price and the aquarium needs to be seen to be believed . Lunch was good and all included in the price so don’t be afraid to ask for more wine. Village was lovely with a couple of bars for a swift drink (not included)

The aquarium was good and well worth a visit. Could have done with more time there though. The lunch was disjointed and came out in dribs and drabs an quite some time between dishes that should have been served together. Eating potato's on their own was not much fun. Limited drinks as well. The cave houses were interesting and we could have done with more time here. The village was a waste of time, absolutey nothing there of any interest. Wish I had saved my money and gone to the aquarium only

Really enjoyable day for us as a couple, our guide Michael was hilarious, interesting and professional and our driver Juan was wonderful, especially navigating the tricky roads! Great value for money, visiting 3 very different places with fantastic scenery along the way and interesting commentary from Michael, we really enjoyed the tapas provided and there was plenty of food to go around. Would not hesitate to recommend this trip.

This is the second time we have done this trip and the aquarium was as fantastic as last time. The food was enjoyable and the little village pretty. The bus was horrendous. Very old with broken seats and very poor air conditioning. This was so disappointing as on the previous trip the bus was much better and the journey was much more pleasant and enjoyable. In the heat this really did affect the enjoyment of the trip which is such a such a shame

Michael the tour guide was very knowledgeable and an excellent, humorous commentator. I learned a lot about the geography and climate on Gran Canaria. Aquarium very impressive. Only downside was the same restaurant as the Sunset Tour. A change would have been nice. Overall an excellent day out.

The guide was very knowledgeable and had a rather unique vocal style. Enjoyed both facets of the experience but only reason I didn't give a 10 out of 10 here was that I felt the aquarium segment didn't provide sufficient time to fully take in everything there.

The poema del mar is fabulous. the mountains, can you not incorporate the museum as well as this would be of more interest? as the next stop which is the village for 20 minutes doesn't really provide as much value and this could be substituted for the museum?

Aquarium was excellent. Lots to see and fish tanks were very impressive. Entrance time was at the same time as multiple school groups, so was very noisy and busy which did make the visit less enjoyable. The mountain and restaurant in the cave was excellent as food and drink were great. Village tour was interesting and nice stop off point.

Then trip to the village was just a waste of time.. not really anything there to see so disappointing..

Tour guide & driver were great, good information & guidance. Journey not too long between attractions. Lunch was adequate although not very interesting, we assumed that catering for various tastes was a challenge. Timings were quite tight, another half hour at Poema del Mar would have allowed for getting a bit lost. Overall, we would do it again.

Every was pretty good, except for the lunch. Very underwhelming no explanation as to what we were eating and had no ability to pick what was coming out as it was a shared meal for the table. Personally I was not comfortable eating around strangers so didn't enjoy that experience.

Needed more time at the aquarium, meal was pleasant but felt rushed and the last stop was a pointless 20min off the coach.. not long enough to even order and enjoy a drink. Next time will just get a bus & enjoy the aquarium for longer!

The aquarium is excellent. Our 6 year old loved the experience! An excellent trip! The photos taken around the aquarium provided really nice memories (obviously at a price). 5 The tapas lunch was excellent! We shared a table with another lovely couple. There was plenty of local food to experience. A little more time around the last two stops would have been preferred, however it was a lovely experience to see a number of places in Gran Canaria in one trip.

The tour guide Michael was great. Giving us lots of information. The aquarium was amazing and enough time spent there. The tour of the canyon and lunch was great. I have coeliac disease and they brought me out the most enormous plate of fish and salad. Delicious! Everyone else had a good portion of tapas. The village stop at Aguimes was lovely. Nice little souvenir shop and cafe. Great excursion

Aquarium was superb, highlight of the day. The guide was very good too, with interesting facts along the route. The restaurant meal at lunchtime was the same restaurant that we visited several days earlier on the Sunset Tour, which was a shame, would of been good to of tried somewhere different, but like the first visit the food (Tapas) was very good.

The aquarium part of the excursion was excellent and more suited for our child. Only part I can say is that the guide went off at a pace and we fell behind as our son wanted to look at the tanks properly. The guide had told us to download an app that would work in the aquarium but it didn't work for us. The visit to the mountain and lunch wasn't great to be honest. Def not suited for kids. If the aquarium was to be paired with something more kids related would have been better

Guiden pratade hellre tyska än engelska. Hon dirigerade och gav verkligen inte ett trevligt uttryck. Kändes som hon bara ville hem eller gå i pension. Akvariet var fantastiskt. Tour guide excellent and very knowledgeable. Had just about enough time (2hrs) to visit Poema ********** Mar. Didn't see much of Guayadeque Canyon at all, was literally a drive up a road to the restaurant we visited, would have expected to see more, ie a Guanche example of cav or Guanche museum. Restaurant good. Unexpected tour of Aguimes and little free time to visit coffee shop. Not that interesting ie not much to see or do but lovely to experience a Canarian village.

The great mix was spot on and somethings for everyone. There is a number of stops but you never felt rushed and its flows very well. As a solo traveller it's a brilliant way to mingle too especially over the amazing lunch Micheal was epic and so passionate and knowledgeable as well

Would have preferred the tour in one language only rather than two but other than that we enjoyed it. The aquarium was fascinating so many different fish. The lunch was good too we had red wine Pepsi and water to drink plus a roll plate of salad cheese and potato omelette - there was meat and fish too. Firstly trip stated as 8 hours. It is not, we were picked up at 9.15 & back to hotel by 3.30z The aquarium was fantastic & well worth the visit. We had just under 2 hours which for us was plenty of time. The canyon where people live in caves & the tapas lunch was very good. Plenty to eat & drink there. The visit to the village & church is just look at the outside of a church then gave half hour to wander but really nothing to see or do.

The joining information wasn't so good. I was told to meet the coach at a local Clinic, but the bus turned up at the other side of the road - a main road to the beach, which I then had to cross. Why not say "opposite the Clinica ...." The guide was great, the aquarium was OK, I've seen better; the lunch was great, and the final stop was OK, although not much to see. I was surprised that a full day excursion got me back to my resort before 4 p.m. I expected it to last until 5 or 6 p.m.

Aquarium and Canyon visit was really good. The Aquimes part of the tour may have been poorly timed as everything was closed at 14:00 on a Saturday afternoon other than the cafes. However it was very clean and well maintained like most towns on the island.

The aquarium was fantastic but perhaps could have spent longer here. We were absolutely blown away by this place. The cave was great to climb and see old house. The food basic but tasty! Loved the goats cheese. I think a little more guidance on the town would have been helpful as we didn’t really know where to go.

He tour was great but the coach was filthy! The ash trays were jammed with rubbish, the fire extinguisher had about an inch of dust around it. Overall though the tour was great. The Aquarium is definitely worth going too.

Enjoyed aquarium would have liked another 30 mins allocated to this. Although the natural gorge had lovely views it was dissspointing not to see inside any caves or get nearer and the homes selling tourist trinkets were all shut up for siesta. The tapas was of poor quality e.g chicken wings dry and tough as if days old. I felt it was pointless visiting the village afterwards as apart from a cafe and 1 tourist shop everything else was closed. Guide was difficult to understand.

Aquarium was good rest of the trip seemed rushed need to allow a few more hours in the day. Overall still a lovely day with beautiful views

The whole experience was great, the local guide was proud of where he lives and was full of knowledge and shared lots of interesting facts. We felt we had enough time at each location. The food was lovely, the whole day was really good.

Kokemus oli monipuolinen. Nähtävyyksiä oli vuorista meren syvyyksiin asti. Lapset olivat tosi innoissaan jokaisesta kohteesta. Palvelu oli kaikissa kohteissa ystävällistä. Opas oli mukava ja puhui hyvin selkeästi. Apua sai aina kun tarvitsi. Olisi ollut mukavampaa, jos olisimme saaneet kierrellä vuorilla hieman kauemmin.

Fantastic guide great day out , only thing was at the restaurant in the cave not food we would eat . Everything else was great. Tour guide Micheal so funny . Aquarium and trip to village beautiful.

The aquarium was really the best I’ve ever seen; absolutely world class. Coach driver & tour guide very friendly. Lunch very good and other activities were good too.
