The border fee of 65 USD must be paid in cash to the tour representative upon departure. Please ensure you have this amount of cash with you in USD or NIS
In the event that you do not have a pre-arranged visa to enter Jordan, you will need to pay the 60 USD visa fee at the border. This also needs to be paid in cash in USD or NIS to your representative
You will be assisted in all matters at the border, ensuring that you are able to cross and return safely. The border fee covers this service, as well as the mandatory border tax. Changes to these charges may occur without notice and are beyond the local operator's control
Know in advance:
Israeli passport holders do not require a visa but must still pay the border fee in cash. Israeli passport holders must enter and leave Israel on their Israeli passports
On the bus on the way to the border, you will receive a pamphlet with exact instructions about the border crossing procedure
Please ensure you provide a valid contact number (including country code) which will be active during your joining the tour, as it is important due to the unlikely event of delays or problems
One overnight bag per person is permitted on the tour. If you need to bring additional luggage for any reason, please contact the local operator. Find the contact information on the voucher you'll receive after booking
On re-entry to Israel, the bus will be waiting for you as you exit the border terminal. If you are delayed or are unable to locate the bus after exiting the border terminal, please contact the local provider immediately. If you do not have a phone, you can ask border security to contact the local operator for you
Please note that infant seats are unavailable. Infants must sit on your lap
Remember to bring:
Passport(s), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, scarf (for modesty), ATM card and cash, walking shoes, warm clothing for evenings in the desert
Travellers who hold multiple passports are advised to bring them all. All travellers must carry a valid passport at all times
