Visit the fairy tale Neuschwanstein Castle and Linderhof Palace, built by King Ludwig II. These unique buildings in the midst of the Bavarian alpine landscape will fascinate you!Ride on an air-conditioned coach with a live guide in English and headphones in various languages. First, stop at Linderhof Palace, where you can decide whether you want to experience a guided castle tour, have a coffee, or just spend time in the beautifully landscaped castle garden. Continue via Oberammergau to Neuschwanstein Castle, here you have time for lunch and join a guided tour through the castle.

To reach Neuschwanstein Castle there is a walking distance slightly uphill. Alternatively, for an additional fee to be paid directly to the local transport company, you can get on a horse-drawn carriage or shuttle bus followed by a short walk. Shuttle bus fee: Adults - €3; Children (7-12 years) - €1.50; Children (0-6 years) - free. Horse-drawn carriage fee regardless of age: ascent €7, downhill €3.50
Audio guides are available at Neuschwanstein Castle in the following languages: Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, Mandarin, French, Russian, English, German, and Italian. Pre-recorded commentary and headphones on the coach are subject to availability

Admission is free for infants (0-3 years) but they will not have a reserved seat on the bus

Christine our tour guide was excellent - funny and engaging - I learnt a lot about the history of the castles, the fascinating story of Ludwig and also the history of Germany. We had a beautiful, scenic journey. Excellent value for money and a fantastic day out. Highly recommended.
