The transport service carried out with special 4x4 vehicles authorized by Etna Park from 1800 m (the starting point of the excursion on the volcano) to 2800 m, is not included in the price. The cost is €50 per person and must be paid on the spot to the guide. There is the possibility to pay it by card, but it's preferred by cash

The minimum age to attend this excursion is 12 years old
This excursion is for excursionists accustomed to walking at altitude
Trekking requires discrete physical preparation and attention during the activity
Please make sure to be well aware of your own health conditions on the day of the experience: if necessary, let the guide know about them, in order to reduce the occurrence of any problems and to avoid any risks
The excursion could be subjected to variations in case of changes in the environmental, climatic or volcanic conditions that may undermine the safety of the entire group
It is recommended not to wear contact lenses due to exposure to volcanic gases and ash
In case of bad weather or if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the excursion will be refunded in full if it cannot be rescheduled to another date that is suitable for the client
Remember to bring:
Trekking shoes are mandatory
Packed lunch, layered clothing (short-sleeved shirt - long-sleeved thermal shirt - fleece or sweatshirt), hiking shoes anorak jacket and water (minimum 1,5l)
It's strongly advised you also bring with you snacks, trekking sticks, a backpack, sunglasses, sunscreen, gloves and heat (depending on the season), spare socks and a spare t-shirt, a handkerchief or a bandana (to protect against volcanic dust or gases)
