Famous especially for its incredible collection of Renaissance paintings, the museum welcomes millions of visitors every year. Admire the eight rooms dedicated to Caravaggio, where you'll find the Medusa, Bacchus, the Sacrifice of Isaac, and other masterpieces as well as paintings by other great 17th-century artists such as Artemisia Gentileschi, Velazquez, Rembrandt, Van Dyck and Rubens.Palazzo Pitti is one of the largest museums in Florence; the imposing 13th-century building houses the Palatine Gallery as well as the Royal Quarters, the Modern Art Gallery, dedicated to Italian art from the 18th century to World War I, the Museum of Fashion and Costume and the Treasury of the Grand Dukes. Located behind Palazzo Pitti, the Boboli Gardens are the first example of an Italian-style garden. Statues, fountains and caves dot the meadows, giving the impression of an open-air museum. Finally, in the Knight's Building, the Porcelain Museum preserves some of the most beautiful porcelain works in Europe.

Know in advance:
The ticket must be validated at the Uffizi on the booked day. You can visit the other museums once at the time you prefer within 5 days: Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Museo dell'Opificio delle Pietre Dure, and National Archaeological Museum of Florence
Below 18 years the entrance is free, only by providing an ID card at the ticket office. Children below 12 years need to be accompanied by an adult

De voucher inwisselen voor een ticket ging perfect.
Uffize: prachtig natuurlijk ben je met velen maar goed te doen. Aan de audio tour heb je niet zo heel veel omdat je er maar beperkt gebruik van kan maken. Helaas bij Pitti 2 mooiste tentoonstellingen niet te bezoeken ivm renovatie!

La visita alla Galleria degli Uffizi è stata una esperienza emozionante, coinvolgente, commovente, unica. Avrei gradito una più agevole fruibilità della audio guida. Personalmente ritengo poi che un maggiore silenzio da parte di noi utenti sarebbe consigliabile.

Ho acquistato il biglietto cumulativo per visitare Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti e Boboli con audioguida per gli Uffizi. Esperienza positiva, tuttavia, se dovessi ritornare, di sicuro non prenderei più l'audioguida, troppo limitata. Avevo con me una vecchia guida cartacea del Touring molto più esaustiva.

The galleries and garden were excellent and well worth visiting. Our only complaint was about the instructions about ticket collection, which were unclear and caused a bit of delay getting in to the Uffizi.

En revanche l'accueil pour le retrait des billets est à perfectionner. Aucune plus value par rapport à un retrait au guichet et plus cher à l'achat en ligne.
Prévoyez plutôt un audio guide au musée plutôt que l'application telephone

We recognized very late, that we had to visit office. To get the audio guide and the tickets.
First I did not understand that, we wanted to go directly to Uffizi.

La modalità di poter prenotare i biglietti per la visita dei musei a Firenze è la scelta migliore al fine di saltare tutte le file. Addirittura alla Galleria degli Uffizi sono entrata con più di mezz'ora in anticipo sull'orario previto
