What to expect
Pay a visit to one of the most amazing beaches on earth – Elafonisi. It is in the southwestern corner of Crete and is characterized by its crystal-clear water and pink coral sands. Are you ready to start your tour?You will be picked up from your accommodation between 8.00am and 9.20am. After a short coffee break, around 11.15am, you will reach Elafonisi beach, the famous lagoon. You can relax and enjoy the sun or wade across the island. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy a drink in one of the bars and canteens in the surroundings.On the way back to Chania (around 3.15pm), you can stop in a local village for lunch (not included). You will arrive in Chania around 5.00pm – 6.00pm.

Fin nok tur… men 5 timer i bus, fordi vi skulle sætte en anden gruppe af, og vente på dem på tilbagevejen, var for meget. Var nok ikke taget afsted, hvis vi vidste det. Så synes vi heller ikke at stranden var særlig lyserød… men vi fandt en lyserød stribe. Men stranden var fin. Meget fint, at de passer på miljøet dernede

Första stoppet kändes onödigt, hade hellre haft den stunden på stranden. Elafonissi var fantastiskt vackert verkligen värt resan. Matstället på vägen hem var också väldigt bra. Guiden var kunnig och hjälpsam och berättade mycket längst turen.

Guiden berättade om ställena vi åkte förbi innan vi kom till mål och gav tips till andra utflykter som vi inte hade en aning om innan! Är också glad att vi inte åkte under högsäsong. Mängder av människor vid första stranden men gick man en bit bort var det färre! Trevlig personal!

Ranta itsessään on näkemisen ja kokemisen arvoinen vaikkakin turisteja oli todella paljon. Korkeanpaikankammoiselle en linja-autoretkeä suosittele,reitti kulki korkealla mutkaista kapeaa vuoristotietä. Välillä toisella puolella syvä rotko ja paikallinen kuski ajoi omaan makuun liian lujaa ottaen huomioon ettei rotkon ja tien välissä ollut välillä minkäänlaista aitaa. Pysähdykset pikkukylissä matkan varrella oli mukava lisä reissuun. Opas puhui englanniksi joten ei sovi kielitaidottomille.

Sähköpostitse tulleessa ohjeessa bussin noutopysäkki on merkitty väärälle puolelle katua. Oli vaarallista ylittää katu pienen lapsen kanssa ilman suojatietä. Samalle retkelle tulleet toiset turistit olivt myös pettyneitä puutteellisiin ohjeisiin. Opas oli hiukan välinpitämätön asiasta.
