the Jumeirah Grand Mosque in Dubai entrance is not included in this ticket. However, if you want the option to enter and have a guided tour at your own cost, it's open on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08h45 till 09h45 AM only. On Mondays and Wednesdays from 09h00 to 10h00 AM and from 10h15 to 11h15 AM. The mosque is closed on Fridays. Ladies visiting the Mosque are required to cover their heads with a scarf and do not wear shorts, beachwear or sleeveless outfits as they are to be fully covered. Men visiting the Mosque should wear long trousers

Gut war, dass wir vom Hotel abgeholt worden sind, pünktlich wie vereinbart, am Sammelort mussten wir dann 30 Minuten warten bis es los ging. Okay. Grund?Sonst war es eher eine Kaffeefahrt. Infos über Dubai/ die Sehenswürdigkeiten gab es nur über die Kopfhörer. Halt in einer „Kunstgalerie“ wo handgefertigt Wandteppiche vorgestellt wurden, die man kaufen könnte. Auf dem Gewürzmarkt alle in irgendeinem Laden geführt , wo einer im Turbotempo uns Tees und Safran präsentierte, zum riechen

Die Tour war sehr interessant. Leider war uns nicht klar gewesen, daß es keine Rückfahrt zum Hotel gibt. Wir waren erst den 2. Tag in Dubai und waren darauf nicht vorbereitet...nach vielen Fragen, gelang uns der Weg zurück zum Hotel...

Leuk vonden we de bootjes en de oude markt. Ook het uitzicht op het strand was leuk. De moskee, prima maar jammer dat je er niet in kon. Wat wij echt niet leuk vonden was de verkoop praat over kleedjes, waar je niet eens durfde rond te kijken omdat ze je van alles probeerde aan te smeren.

Het bezoek aan Abu Dhabi was heel interessant. De shuttle service naar het centrale vertrekpunt was goed geregeld. We hadden een uitstap geboekt met Nederlandstalige reisleiding maar we moesten aanluiten bij een Duitstalige groep. Voor ons is dit geen probleem maar voor sommige reizigers kan dit wel een probleem zijn omdat ze geen Duits spreken.De autocar naar Abu Dhabi was een oude autocar die aan vervanging toe is (versleten zetels). De gids gaf goede uitleg en was heel vriendelijk.

Die Vielfalt der Tour und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis hat mir ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Ich vermisste jedoch die wirklich Traditionen und es gleichte eher einer Verkaufstour.

Was een leuke tocht maar erg veel in het nieuwe gedeelte wij hadden meer op het historische dus het oude gedeelte gehoopt. En bezoek aan souk was te kort zodat je alleen maar over het ‘goud’ gedeelte kon lopen. De boottocht naar de overkant was super!
