What to expect
Get on board, sit back and enjoy a comfortable way across the Douro River.Travel across the river in safety and style, in one of the boats inspired by the design of the traditional Rabelos, which transported Port wine from the heart of the Douro Valley to the cellars of Porto. “Serra do Pilar” and “Casa do Infante” are the names of the boats, in honor of the two cities, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.Choose the time that better suits your schedule. Each boat makes its journey every 15 minutes from 9.15am to sunset, every day of the week. Each crossing takes approximately 5 minutes, allowing you to reach the other side in a quick and convenient manner.

Know in advance:
You can use your ticket anytime, on the selected date, during the operating hours (subject to the capacity of the boat at the time of arrival)
Each boat makes its journey every 15 minutes from 10:00 AM until 01:00 PM and from 02:00 PM until sunset. Currently, the last crossing is scheduled at 05:35 PM to Porto and 05:45 PM to Gaia.
The two Rabelas are adapted to receive passengers with reduced mobility
The ferry is free for children under 4
