Day was roughly 2 hours shorter than when we done it previous years, yet we still paid the same price. Good service for using as a taxi service to visit Bodrum.

It was surprisingly good as we were taken on a guided tour around by coach but got off at various stops and was told about the history of bodrum The bit I would say was bad was on the advertisement it doesn’t explain the itinerary so we were not aware of the guided tour part but this ended up being a nice surprise

Good because everything is organised for you. But lacked communication (what the tour involved, for how long, what you'd see etc)

I thought we were getting a guided tour of ancient monuments, places of interest and a traditional Turkish bazaar. instead we were on a coach for half an hour, taken to a Turkish delight shop and then dropped off in an area that sold nothing but fake designer good which is not what we are interested in. I wish I had not wasted my money on this excursion..

Great

The pick up from hotel was too early, we were waiting for a while at Kos harbour before being told the rep wasn’t expecting us till later and our ferry wasn’t until 1130. We had to wait around for nearly an hour and a half before we got the ferry. I think this wasted time we could’ve had exploring Bodrum.

We really enjoyed the trip ! The stop off at the Turkish delight shop was interesting because it was all very expensive but we filled up on the free samples and brought one box. We spoke to a couple later on and the restaurant that the guide recommended over charged them a lot!!!!!

Small point but overall great. When the bus got to the ferry. The tour guide took us off the bus into the carpark to explain all the vital information for the trip. No one could hear what she was saying. Probably an idea to explain the info of the bus with the mic instead of shouting over people in the busy carpark. Overall a brilliant trip though.

We really enjoyed the trip to Bodrum, although it is cheaper by almost half to do it by yourself it was worth it to have the ease of door to door service. The guide was lovely and knowledgable, lots of tips and tricks but the tour of Bodrum definitely felt like a bit of a money making exercise for certain businesses within Bodrum.

Bodrum was nice. Rubbish bus in Bodrum with little or no air con making it uncomfortable. Good restaurant recommendation. Way too much of the day wasted on queues to get in and out of each country when we're only on a day trip. No time for a proper walking exploration of Bodrum. Even though it was called a day in Bodrum we had less then 4 hours including the bus tour. Poor description.

Very expensive for just a ferry crossing..more than double the ferry price. Rep quite rude, not helpful, seemed to prefer large groups rather than a solo traveller, many times she ignored me and then when I asked how to get to somewhere in Bodrum she gave me a map, drew 2 circles and said 'you here-go there' and turned her back to speak to someone else. A good trip, would do it again but not through tui.

Well organised, not long wait at either side for border control. Enjoyed boat trip over. Tour was informative and guide was friendly. Great day out. Only thing we didn’t enjoy was the stop at Turkish delight shop, didn’t need half an hour there and just seemed like a tourist trap to spend money.

Fantastic place to visit and well worth the trip. Nothing you can do about Turkish customs being slow. I would advise you to set aside at least 45 mins to pass through. Otherwise you may miss the boat.

We left the hotel at 8am and arrived at the ferry port at 9am, The TUI guide gave us our boarding passes on arrival. Customs at this end was super quick. We arrived in Bodrum and the customs this side was a little slower. We only went for some shopping which is super easy to find from the port, lots of shops and cafes within a 5 minute walk. Coming back the customs in Bodrum were very slow, they didn’t open till past 3pm and our boat was departing at 4pm but we all made it on time. Great trip.

Great boat trip, good price, not keen on customs in Turkey though-not pleasant at all. Great shops and good value. Be prepared to haggle ! Some shops didn't accept euros or cash. Guide said euros was accepted everywhere in bodrum. Best to have lira cash or bank card. No Great explanation of how trip worked, or where to visit, other than bus trip round the city. If you want to shop, best not to take city tour, as not much time there. But overall, really enjoyed and would do it again

We did this tour from Kos. Having read reviews about long queues for customs these were not too bad for us. The guided tour was via coach which was not what we were expecting - to a view point which was nice, but then to a Turkish delight factory they felt like a stop for spending of money. It would have been nice to have a guided walking tour of the centre. The guide warned us about eating out in restaurants where extra costs can be added - he recommended one, but they did just that!

Great

A great trip to Bodrum overall! TUI Guide was really helpful and also the Ferry operators. Pretty disorganised at Kos port with many people almost missing their Ferry due to long queues at boarder control, wait was around 40 minutes. Other Ferry companies taking their passengers to the front which was annoying people waiting patiently in the queue. On the Turkish side it was much more swift through and back at boarder control. Worth taking swimming clothes!

Overall very good day although it was spoilt by queuing in a car park to be called for our boarding passes very lengthy procedure. The passport control and boarding in Kos was ok it was at the Bodrum end it was a disaster over 1 hour to get through no organisation. So it was gone noon before we even stepped on Turkish soil. Also coming back to Kos exactly same happened lengthy time for passport control over 1 hour(this can be backed up with photos) all in we had about 4 hours on Bodrum

Bodrum a shopping location and great castle day out

Excellent

Bodrum is certainly worth a trip, the castle is a highlight, only €8. Booking through TUI is convenient but meaning the coaches need to meet and have a communal briefing at the port adds time. To be honest, it would’ve been cheaper to buy our own ferry tickets and arrive at the port in time for the ferry, saving about 90 minutes standing about just waiting.

The organisation in Kos could have been better at the Ferry port. The tour guide waited for all 4 or 5 buses to arrive and then gave out tickets which took a lot of waiting around in the sun. Got some fantastic bargains in Turkey and a lovely meal!

We enjoyed Bodrum very much. The bus pickup and boat were well organised. The only issue was with the very long queues and time taken for passport control, particularly at the Greek end... which we accept is not the fault of TUI. However it appears multiple boats departed and arrrived at the same time so perhaps more staggered departure and arrival times could be considered.

The trip to Bodrum town and market was great but unfortunately the whole experience regarding getting on and off the ferry , the passport control could do with looking making the journey more s structured and organised. The guide around the island was a waste of time 10 minutes stopped this part of the day wasn’t enjoyable, should have just dropped us off , let’s us spend the day on how we wanted too , not value for money .

Bodrum itself it absolutely beautiful and would highly recommend going there, the shops are amazing, be prepared to haggle, and stand your ground lol, but was an amazing experience, boat crew are amazing, but unfortunately the TUI rep really let the whole experience down, wasn’t helpful, no guidance as to what was happening, delayed leaving by an hour which meant we missed our docking slot, so had very little time, we had to choose either the tour or shopping and getting the kids food

Our experience to Bodrum was brilliant, we boarded the ship fine however there was a slight issue as my boarding pass had been printed with my DOB incorrect but was resolved quickly as I had another proof of ID. The tour was fantastic, the tour guide shared a lot of information. Personally I would have liked a little longer at photo opportunities but it wasn’t an issue, I’m just nosy. We had plenty of time to shop after the tour also:)

Well organised, great reps, the only disappointment was Bodrum itself, I last visited in 1989 and it was super charming and quaint! I was hoping to stock up on lots of souvenirs but no sign of the old markets and the shops are now all selling fake designer stuff with men hassling you outside to go in! The boat trip was great and we had a fabulous meal.

I enjoyed the experience as a whole, but there was an awful lot of waiting around. We were picked up at 8:40 and didn't get to Bodrum until gone 11 (including going through passport control). The guide was informative, and we felt the tour showed us some interesting sights. Again on our return, there was a lot of waiting.
