The Altes Museum, the oldest museum on Berlin's Museum Island, was designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and opened its doors in 1830. It is recognised as one of the most significant structures of classicism. Bardzo piękne muzeum. Personel bardzo przyjazny. Eksponaty bardzo funkcjonalnie zaprezentowane. Zgromadzone zbiory - rzeźby i amfory robią wrażenie. Wizyta w Starym Muzeum pozwala na poznanie sztuki sprzed ponad 2000 lat.
