Ride with a cable car up to the Eggishorn viewpoint and enjoy a great view over the Great Aletsch Glacier.After a 25-minute ride in Switzerland’s quickest cable car, you’ll arrive at the 2869m Eggishorn viewpoint. From here, you’ll admire the vastness of the 20km-long Great Aletsch Glacier (the longest in the Alps) with its 4000m-high peaks: the Mönch, the Eiger, the Jungfrau, and to the west, the Weisshorn, the Matterhorn, and the Mont Blanc. Take a photo from the official “Grand Tour of Switzerland photo point” and have a nice walk on the Eggishorn trail to the viewpoint.Enjoy this 360-degree panoramic view of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
