Poor

The tour guide was awful. Don't know why he was there he hardly ever engaged with clients, and occasionally pointed out a few bits of information which actually in the sales pitch for the tour.

Lack of communication from guide. Food choice poor and served cold. If you want a drink this is chargeable. On return journey the driver got lost returning guests to hotel which made us 90 mins later for return back to hotel and did not communicate any reason as to why or provide any water as a gesture but the guides and drivers all took water for themselves. Not worth the price Tui charge as you can book with a local company for half the price Tui charge.

Difficult as the main issue was the organisation at Yala itself. Too many small firms, all clashing, leading to traffic jams within the park, local guide pleasant and polite, but lacking detailed wildlife knowledge. Compared poorly with other safari experiences in other countries with TUI eg Senegal. Where park ranger takes you out on the parks own vehicles

Excellent

long journey but comfortable vehicle. guide was very knowledgeable. we booked the experience via the App as the hotel Rep said there was no availability during our stay & could only offer a private experience costing £500. we advised him of the App availability but he assured us that if we booked it on line it would be refused due to no availability. we went ahead & booked it onthe App anyway & glad we did as we enjoyed the experience
