The Agro Park Millaniya is a great spot to enjoy the true hospitality of rural Sri Lanka while absorbing the sights and sounds of a typical village. As well as exploring this award-winning integrated farm, you'll also visit a Buddhist temple and go on a countryside tuk-tuk ride. As our expert local guide, Kasun says, ‘It's fun and interesting to learn so much about Sri Lanka's traditional agriculture and gastronomy in one location. Excellent
The time spent on the farm was the highlight of the trip. The farmers knowledge was fascinated and I can fully understand why he had won awards for the farm. Throughout the trip we felt we were having experiences which showed us how local people led their lives rather than it just being another tourist event.

The farmer himself gave the tour of the farm, and a local temple. The information given was excellent and answered all our questions. He also provided lunch at the farm which was lovely traditional Sri Lankan food. The tour was exactly what were expecting , and is a good excursion as a taster of Sri Lanka.

The tui rep at club hotel dolphin tried to rip us off by wanting another 100 US dollars off us even though the trip was paid for via the tui app before we left the UK. We refused point blank then he said ok just 50 more, we still refused, he stated well go thro the app and get a refund but it was less than 24 hours before the trip so was not able to. Rep stated go thro tui back in UK and we would get one,asked for something in writing rep then stated we could go on trip no extra cost

The tour was excellent and so informative, the only issue we had was that there were only two of us on the tour due to the lack of tourists in Sri Lanka, we had one of our other tours cancelled, but this one went ahead even with the two of us. Tours like this were one of the main reasons we booked the holiday, we wanted to visit the real Sri Lanka and not just a staged version.
