Off-road adventure is the name of the game on this action-packed excursion. Spend four adrenaline-pumping hours carving up the sands and exploring the trails of Boa Vista's stunning south coast.
Choose whether you want your own quad or whether you're happier to be a passenger – and let your partner do all the hard work. You'll be fully instructed in how to safely ride these very powerful machines, before a quick test drive. Then we'll speed off to the village of Povoação Velha, where you can have a wander round and stretch your legs. Next, jump back in your quads for...

Bookings are per quad not per person

The whole experience was great from riding quad bikes on different terrains (so much fun) to seeing beautiful places on the island but would definitely recommend not to wear your best clothes as you get covered in sand and dust

Shocked to see negative reviews about this, the lads who run the tour are great, talkative, friendly, happily took our phones for photos, answered questions and stopped to explain each stop-off point. Quads were great. Fast and loads of fun on the dunes, 4 hours fly by, we had a great time. 10/10.

The tour was brilliant fun and the staff were excellent, friendly and made it all work in a safe environment. The only criticism was the first stop in the small village. Felt a little pressurised to go into a small poorly lit room to look at souvenirs to buy. Felt like a captive audience. Other than that would throughly recommend and very good value for money

Staff does not care a bit and "guides" with Ginger leading them give zero about you. They got your money and then they more money for the pictures taken by their photographer. Nothing more, zero info and zero care given. Looks elsewhere if you like being treated like a paying customer

What a shame. Tour itself was really good, shame about the so called "guides". Once we got there the first thing we were shown is how to start the quad. No hellos, no how are yours etc. Once we all learnt how to start, we were hoarded into a room to fill out a form and get a helmet. Staff is plain rude and don't give a **********. Its6a four hour tour so you'd expect staff to suggest you use a toilet etc. as we don't know when the next will be. Not a word was spoken.Don't use this company!!!

Great fun on the quads with amazing scenery, and seeing turtles at Turtle Bay was a real highlight! Felt a bit unsafe being so close to the cliff edge though. Communication wasn’t great due to a language barrier, and we had to ask for scarves. After the tour, we waited over 20 mins for the transfer with no updates. Also got overcharged by the photo guy. Such a shame, as better communication and customer care would make this tour excellent.

If you think you’ll be able to sightsee whilst riding the quads, you’ve no chance! The quads themselves are big and cumbersome and almost unmanageable. Having an invisible illness meant being the slowest and most unsure, resulting in bullying from two younger members of the group and the tour guide who chose to swear at me on a couple of occasions. My friend enjoyed it however, so it wasn’t a complete wash out. I would absolutely NOT recommend this excursion however.

My ONLY criticism is when stopping in the village for a drink being hounded by locals to go in every shop where they are all selling the same thing and it's becomes quite difficult to walk away without them appearing offended. I feel we should be protected from that by the reps a bit. I am totally open to buying from these people and am happy to spend money with them and appreciative of their situation for doing it but if I only have bags of stuff then leave me alone. I've supported your cause

The trip was amazing..my son (age 20) was driver and i was passenger. All terrains covered. We were taken to a small village for a drink, but it became clear it was a lure with men wanting you go view their 'shops' of african craft. They all said they made it themselves but it clearly looked like bought in tat. We had no euros or local currency, they asked about a card and although i had a debit card I wasn't going to get that out there!

Such good value for money. Saw so much of the island and was on the quads for a good 3/3.5hrs. The beaches were like nothing I’ve ever seen, and we stopped plenty of times to take in the scenery. Staff were friendly and good fun and got all the safety gear you need.

Amazing experience 100% worth it. Only fault was they purposely put the “slow” driver right behind the guide to ensure they don’t fall behind the group. This kinda ruined the adrenaline experience of going fast as they were not able to keep up with the guide and not pushing the quad. For others I would try ask for them to not do this and put them at the back so you can enjoy the speed of the quad

The staff at Quad Zone were outstanding from start to finish. Thorough in their explanation of how to use the double quad bike, tour guide and route for our 4 hour experience. We choose the afternoon time and had the most epic time. Great fun! Helpful and fun tour guides and photographer. Scenery to die for along the sand dunes, coast line and off road driving with a visit to the historic village for a drink and abit of local shopping at the beginning. Also saw adult turtles swimming.

This trip has been the highlight of our holiday so far. We were shown how to drive the quad and did a quick lap around the practice track. Helmet and face covering provided. .Very very dusty so don’t wear anything you want to keep! We visited a local village for a complimentary drink, a gorgeous beach where you can swim, climbed into caves saw turtles swimming in the sea. The dunes and scenery are amazing and you can order pictures at the end for €30. Loved it!

I scored a 9 overall because one guy couldn’t ride a was very slow. Eventually being taken off the bike and replaced by one on the staff. This was done well over 3/4 of the journey and should have been done way earlier.

A fantastic trip over some stunning scenery and a verity of terrain. The quads are brilliant but there weren't enough helmets with visors available which you should ideally have to stop the dust getting in your eyes (sun glasses did an okay job but not ideal). Top tip: don't wear clothes you wish to wear again on the trip, the dusk really does cover you!

With going to the local village the pressure is on for you to go into the shops and spend money It’s very over priced ‘ We knew that was going to happen so we was prepared to say no But it didn’t go down well with local person who tried to get us to go in The guides that took us out were great on keeping things under control Especially as we had a ********** driving crazy in front of us He got put in his place a few times ! Amazing experience. A little disorganised at first. Not for those who are nervous. With the speed we were going round there were points when I couldn’t see where we were going, particularly in the last leg of the drive, and felt the speed was too fast to be able to keep up safely. With that said the guides remained in front and behind at all times, stopped to let us catch up, and more importantly the experience was awesome! Just worth a bit of consideration on confidence levels before take off!

The overall trip was really good, the beach and Turtle Bay were really beautiful. However our supervisor was, well to be frank, miserable. She may have been having an off day but her delivery of information and lack of enthusiasm for the trip was almost comical. Photographs were great but only got photos for 1 of the 2 quad bikes. I’ve emailed and whatsapp’d but not had a response. Despite all this I would rebook.

Fantastic tour! The hotel pickup was great and the tour itself takes you all around the island! You get a brief demonstration around a small “test-track” before heading out around the island. If you hadn’t done quad-biking before then this brief demonstration wouldn’t be enough! The guide took us to little villages, the beautiful 80km beach before heading through the sand dunes for some fun! I’d recommend something to cover your face to help with the dust!

The experience as a whole was great fun! Lots of opportunity to ride on the quads, guides clearly knew what they were doing, and the stops for photos were more than idyllic! We stopped at a village, was really interesting to see the real side to the island which I believe is important, however the guides made themselves absent and the locals encouraged us into their shops and we were obliged to spend lots of money, which was fine but fore warning would have been appreciated.

This experience is OK, it's dragged out too much with pointless stops. But my biggest disappointment is that TUI are recommending services where customers are being ripped off & deceived. I have booked and attended 2 experiences during my trip to Boa Vista, Morabeza Beach Bar & Quad bike tour where I purchased the professional photo package at the end of each experience with not receiving anything from either experience & no reply from Brima Photos. Do not purchase the photos on any TUI tour.

It was great fun, the staff were nice & it was great to have all the scheduled stops along the way to see the landmarks, as well as a couple of spontaneous ones to show us sharks and turtles. I could have done with a visor on my helmet to help keep the dust out of my eyes as sunglasses weren't really enough.

4 hour quads. Brilliant excursion, very bumpy on the dirt track, so ladies I would recommend a sports bra. Sand dunes were so much fun, and the beaches are stunning. We stopped off after 20 mins for a drink, talk to the locals who will want you to buy their gifts. We didn't mind. Found out a little about them. There's a bar and toilet facility and a little cafe. Stopped off at Santa Monica beach and the caves. Also took us to spot the turtles swimming. Overall, fantastic excursion.

Wow are the only words that describe this experience, it was perfect from start to finish, if you are frightened of going fast and getting dusty take a 4x4 tour. Remember you will get dusty so take clothes you don’t mind getting dusty. The guides were excellent, thank you Quad Zone. It was so good I did it more than once.

This is a really good tour, some beautiful scenery and areas visited. The quality of the quads is good and the team working then are very good. The one thing that let’s it down is they are driven quite slow and they don’t like you to do anything to make it more enjoyable, 10 meters apart, straight line, no holding back to get a small bit of speed, that stopped you feeling the thrill of quad biking and more like a flinstones car. Other than that, very good and worth the money.

This trip was one of the best days of our holiday. Picked up from the hotel reception and taken to Quad Zone. Showed driving licences and signed form and were given helmets, scarves and 5 mins later on the quads. Quick drive round the track and straight onto the roads at 60 km/ph. Off the roads onto tracks, beaches, dunes -amazing experience. 2 on the same big quad, swapping driving. Photos were 30 euros extra - pictures were fab. Well worth the money. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Explanation of planned activities could be in greater depth. Equipment was good and well maintained. Routes were mixed easy to medium and very enjoyable ride. Overall great experience that we would do again.

Very little communication as to what was going on. Great to see a bit of the island out and about. Bit boring in a line going at other peoples speed. Our quad wasn’t great mechanically which we reported but they didn’t seem too concerned. Lasted over 4 hours. Then our lift back to the hotel didn’t turn up for 40 mins. Overall, ok.

Great fun afternoon. It would help to know that they're automatic as we were concerned about learning to change bike gears, which turned out not to be an issue. The induction at the start was pretty perfunctory, but they did start us off at an easy pace on the roads to give us a chance to get used to the bikes before hitting the dirt & dunes. The first stop is basically just for the locals to sell you souvenirs - the real adventure is after. Good option to buy the photo pack - great pics.

the whole morning was just fantastic. Excellent value for money. The team were brilliant. We stopped at a small village for refreshments and the locals were so friendly. The stops on route at different beaches and caves has spectacular scenery. The photographer was amazing and took some wonderful pictures throughout the day which we were able to purchase. For the extra money book the 4 hour trip. The terrain and scenery are worth it.Be prepared to get dirty, and dust in your eyes. But driving through the sand dune and dirt tracks make the experience well worth it. A small purchase in the village stop helps the locals. Who are friendly and welcoming. A chance to see turtle in the sea and taking in the stunning beaches makes the trip one to remember.

The tour was great fun. We saw so much of the island, Santa Monica beach, driving through sand dunes and turtles in the bay. We booked online so didn’t get the advice about getting filthy and a bandanna was provided. Also take swimming costumes for the beach. The village was beautiful but being hassled to go into tiny shops was intimidating. I would recommend this tour we had a blast!

quad biking was so much fun, loads of stops for a break and photos, they had a photographer who couldn’t take enough photos! we got some brilliant photos. definitely worth it, would 10/10 recommend! the only thing, and it was minor, was the transport to and from the quad biking place, the vans were tiny, squashed in like sardines but defo made up for by the experience!

For a Quad novice instruction and familiarisation with the Quad was very quick, within a few minutes we were on the open road and learning on the job ! Boa Vistas landscape is rouged and unforgiving while spectacular and intriguing, Riding over the huge desert sand dunes was incredible for all, The guides regularly checked in with everybody and sorted out any problems or queries, Overall this 4 hour Quad experience was worth every penny and its memory will stay with us for a long time to come.

Overall awesome event and well worth the money however, customers should be advised to wear old clothes they dont want to wear again on holiday, they wont be able to clean them, wear sliders/flipflops, not trainers, they get wrecked, bring two scarfs and driver to wrap one around each inner calf muscle, the engine heat burns, and the TUI excursion provides a scarf for each member to cover nose and mouth. Bring lots of drinking water. Very good fun!

This is a must do excursion for Boa Vista, the quad bikes are easy to master & they’re exhilaratingly fun to ride across the dunes! It’s a full four hour tour of the southern part of the island which includes a fair few sight seeing stops, we even saw turtles from the cliffs! Be aware though, you get SUPER dusty on this trip so be sure to bring a face covering, sunglasses/goggles and appropriate old clothes, you will visit beaches so I recommend easy slip on/off shoes. Overall 10/10 experience

The transfer to the Quad Zone site was excellent, quick and efficient. My 16-year-old son and I had a double quad, and we felt well-supported with mechanical and safety assistance. The terrain offered a thrilling mix of dry dirt and golden sand, with pit stops at a town for souvenir shopping and visits to beautiful caves and beaches. We even got to see sharks! Just be prepared for some dust and bring a large bottle of water. As a bonus, we received a free 2Pac style bandana and a drink. Fun!!!

We booked our tour through the TUI app, we did try to book with the reps in resort but we found them rude and unhelpful. Also the tour in resort they were selling for £108 but on the app we paid £86.40 Seems a little strange when the same company is charging two different prices!!!!

A no fuss arrival process, good safety talk and away we went taking in the sites of Boa Vista, as we already knew there is not a lot to see but the tour took us to a local village and then onto some breath taking views around the island, untouched beaches to sample mixed in with a lot of fun on the bikes. Only negative and others have mentioned in reviews and that is the stop at the village, its too long.

Was a great way to explore the southern part of the island and exploring the various features along the way. We were lucky enough to see whales and turtles. The guides were really helpful and friendly. One issue we experienced was that because we were waiting at our hotel for some guests who didnt show up when we finally arrived at QuadZone the safety briefing was rushed and my partner and I werent shown how to use the quads properly so had to pick it up our selves.

I really enjoyed the amount of natural landscape and vistas that we explored. The Guide staff were brilliant also. I would only recommend that you offer a single rider tour on a certain day as it feels you have to stop and wait frequently for certain pairs of riders throughout the tour. Stopping and waiting isn’t that fun. Other than that it was a good experience.

A fantastic experience. Our group leader and staff made sure we were all looked after if we had any problems they were there. The scenery was awesome and we stopped at a local village to meet the locals, a cave and even saw some turtles. My partner was very dubious but enjoyed the whole experience. We had wagna as our quad bike tour guide he was brilliant at giving us clear instructions made us feel safe and gave us interesting information about all of the places we stopped. He was very kind and took a beautiful photo of us facing out of the cave. We also bought the €30 photo package at the end and received around 100 amazing photos of myself and my partner which were taken throughout the excursion which we received them all via email. I would avoid wearing white. It was incredible.

My wife & I fully enjoyed this experience. You get to see some incredible views and beaches. There are 4 stops along the way, and the 1st one is in a little town. The locals are waiting to greet you, and then they invite you to see their shops. We spent about €80 but the saying is "no stress" if you don't want to buy anything just walk away. We then visited 3 beaches and a really cool set of sand dunes. The only bit we didn't enjoy was the 'outback sand' track. You get covered in red dust!

The quad tour was absolutely fantastic, lots of fun and a chance to see a lot of this beautiful island. The guide was very enthusiastic and made a point of giving us as much time as we wanted at the stopping points and even pointing out the turtles to us in the coves. The photographer was also excellent!

The best 4 hours we've have on a holiday. We got to see majority of the island , visited some beautiful beaches , we saw turtles, hammer head sharks. A guide was very chatty and knowledgeable. We payed for professional photos and they came out amazing, we also shared a quad and had couple photos which was amazing ??

The trip was a fantastic morning out. As a youngster I had an accident o a quad and used this to get over a phobia and I do not regret it. The quads are easy to use and the staff are constantly checking that everyone is keeping up. You get 3/4 stops to rest and check out the views. It is a hot day as there is little shade but we'll worth it.

Staff were very helpful but some information needs to be a little more clearer especially relating to visas. British passports don't have to pay for a visa but NZ passport needed to and lucky enough we had some cash on us to pay as they wouldn't take card payments at customs.

Not sure what’s “exclusive “ about the tour. Those who booked direct with the quad bike company were on exactly the same route. The exclusive bit seems to be the scarf and a drink. The drink is worth about 1€ and the family in front who booked direct were given scarves anyway clearly on the quiet. The experience generally is good but is also an exercise in providing photo opportunities for the following photographer to sell you later. This may not be TUI but reflects on them/you as oh no space

A really great experience where you get to see lots of the island - the sand dunes in particular were amazing! We stopped at a town where we could have a quick drink and stretch our legs however, you immediately get pounced on by locals trying to sell you things in quite a confrontation manor - this was a little intimidating. Apart from that the whole experience was great, the instructors were really nice and your day gets photographed. I would definitely recommend!

The trip was great as you were able to see a lot more of the island, and the different landscapes and the amazing beaches. The only thing I feel let the trip down was the first stop at the village, I would have liked to have learnt more about the people and the village itself, but it seemed like it’s only purpose was to give you a drink (included in the package) and for locals to rope tourists in to buying cheap souvenirs.

The experience was magnificent. I liked the initial training and the fact that you used the roads first to get used to the machine before doing the off-road driving. The coast was beautiful. The guides were good. It did feel potentially dangerous, so not for the faint hearted. My daughter and I loved it. it did say a drink provided; that didn't happen but we stoppe at a cafe / restaurant on the beach and had to buy drinks so take some money. The (optional) photos at the end were 30 Euro.

The beach views are exactly like the photos. Beautiful and grand enough you have your own space and can enjoy serenity privacy. The staff are welcoming, take pride in what they do and looked after all day. Staff always cleaning etc . Honestly we weren’t let down by the people or the island. The beaches alone are 5 star. We were not impressed with the drinks. The selection is poor and drinks are watered down. The hotel isn’t very modern. Overall this hotel and deal is 4 stars. Not 5.

One word, fantastic!! I absolutely loved every minute of this excursion. I was taken on the roads, off road and through the sand dunes. We had some time to stop for a drink on Santa Monica Beach and to visit a cave. The staff were brilliant with everyone and took care of us all. A photographer follows the group around and for €30.00 you can buy the photos taken of yourself on the quad bike. This was something I paid for and would highly recommend anyone else to do. A great memory.

Highly enjoyable and exciting way to explore some of what the island has to offer. Swift transfer to quad zone. The building itself is run down and toilets are not particularly hygienic. Helmets, hair net and a bandana are provided and following a quick tutorial and safety brief you are off exploring the island. The tour goes along dirt trails, sand dunes, roads and dirt roads stopping at a local village, Santa Monica Beach alongside other eye catching areas. TOP TIP: Wear scruffy clothing!

The experience was very good and we had the full 4hours out riding. I thought the 4 hours was going to including travelling to and from the center, but it wasn’t. There wasn’t much of a safety briefing, they showed you how to turn it on and we did one lap around a circuit before leaving and that was it. It was my first time of a quad bike and i was a bit nervous, but by the end of the day, I had the hang of it.

This was great fun. The organisers picked us up at the exact time, the quads were close by to our hotel, staff very friendly and professional. The guys guiding us (and the photographer) were brilliant. They made sure everyone had a brill time. Some superb pics too. The fella who picked us up in the van wasn't the most friendly though. Mr Grumpy ! All in all best activity we've done for a long time and wouldn't hesitate to go again

The Southern Quad bike tour is close to the airport, so the journey via mini bus takes approx 20-30 minutes from the RIU Touareg hotel. Clothing - make sure you take some old clothes you don't mind getting dirty/dusty/covered in sand! If taking a rucksack/backpack cover it with a plastic bag if possible (as not all the ATVs have a storage box) and some okay trainers. We were given a free bandana to cover our mouth as the helmet had a visor but no chin guard - but take your own just in-case. Also make sure to take your driving licence or take a picture of it on your phone/device beforehand. The Quad bikes themselves are nice and wide with really thick tyres for the bumpy terrain, the throttle is controlled via a thumb press much like all/most ATVs so if you need to take a break just let the guide know. The tour does make one village stop off - so if you plan to buy anything from their little shops to help the local community, then take some local currency or Euro's. We also stopped off at Santa Monica Beach and had a drop off near some caves. The quad bike tour was really enjoyable, we stopped off at a village to get a 'free' drink and bought some of the local fair (only bad part) :- was the shop owner said he had done the paintings himself - clearly not true as we've seen the exact same ones in other shops - perhaps he did not fully understand us? Nothing had any price tags so as long as you are savvy you can get a decent-ish deal - just remember the currency conversion! Overall a 9/10 experience - staff very friendly and the pictures we got at the end were top class (extra price ofc).

We booked the 4 hour Quad tour , we paid £83 for a double quad and it was worth every penny! We were picked up about 8am and returned around 1.30. We went to a village, beaches, along the roads on the quads and through the red sand ( so you do get absolutely covered !) it was so much fun and We would recommend to everyone! We also paid an extra €30 for the photos which were emailed over the following day. Again 10000% worth it as we received 50 images which were all brilliant!

When booking it says you should provide a driving license but this was not checked. We were a couple and ended up on a quad that had no back support for the passenger, the team should have identified this and given a suitable quad as the passenger felt very unsafe for the whole trip and was holding on so hard they ended up with blisters all over their hands. The excursion on the whole was to a lovely area of the island with some fantastic views, but the point above ruined it a bit sadly as more attention was put to surviving the ride than enjoying the views.

Really good value for money. We enjoyed lots of different scenery and the length of the tour was just right. We drove on dusty back roads, through towns, on new roads and best of all on the beautiful Santa Monica beach. The only thing I didn't like was when we went to a nearby town and the guides left us all with locals who swooped straight in to try and sell us things. The guy I spoke to wanted 30 Euros for a scarf! The guides then disappeared. I can imagine this wouldn't feel a safe environment at all for someone who is vulnerable. As soon as you make it clear you don't want to buy anything, the locals have no interest and don't want to talk to you anymore. Not sure if this has been pre-arranged with the company you sub-contract the work to taking a cut from the local vendors but I didn't really like this.

This quad bike tour was great fun overall and worth booking if you like your speed and for the duration of the tour its good value. You are set up with a hair net and helmet, sign a waiver and you're set. This tour ride is a long journey so make sure to use the loo before venturing out. Also make sure to wear what you are willing to get dirty (you'll be covered in dirt by the end of it). Bring sunnies. The quad bike is easy to use although you do need to quickly get used to the thumb lever for acceleration. Try to use gradually. Note that a photographer will follow you around and takes many professional quality photos. This optional extra can be purchased afterwards for 30 euros. The photos are then accessible later digitally to be downloaded. The tour itself will take you across much of the arid land which is fun, although following in a row means you do lack some speed if there are slow, less confident riders. I would hang to the back of the convoy to give yourself opportunity to slow and speed up and have a bit more fun. You'll stop at a few spots along the way including a little town to have a drink and comfort break. There will be some locals selling their wears. The best part of the trip will be getting to a remote beach near sand dunes and this provides opportunity to take some good pictures of the beautiful beach and sea. The penultimate stint through sand dunes is fun. Try not to get too close to the person in front. As you might end up covered in sand if they get stuck and jam the accelerator. The last section was the least fun, what seemed like a 15 minute ride through a trail that was just terracotta dust which kicked up and made visibility very poor and unless you had goggles it's very likely you'll be getting it in the eyes. Not sure if we really needed to go through it to head home but probably provide 80% of the dirt on my clothes. The guides were friendly and had a decent level of English. They helped when stuck on your quad. As said at the beginning worth booking and good value for money. It was my first time on a Quad bike and I loved it

We enjoyed everything. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and the food was particularly good (a lot of choice!) The quad bike tour was my highlight, the only very minor criticism was stopping at Povacao Velha. Felt like we got pressured to buy souvenirs a little bit by the locals, and we ended up leaving with a little wooden turtle. They were friendly though.

We enjoyed the variety of terrain and the performance of the quad bike. There was no safety talk, the helmets were in very poor condition, some had no visor, other’s had defective straps. The staff were very attentive and helpful but we only had a very short time to get aquatinted with the bikes. Following an accident with one bike the staff were very quick to respond but there was a long delay in getting the 2 riders back mostly due to the location which was very remote. Fortunately the only injury was severe bruising to the drivers leg. There were some stunning locations and despite of everything I enjoyed the experience.

I could not fault the experience in terms of fun, excitement and the relaxed but safe manner in which it was managed. Great value for money for a 4hr experience seeing areas you would not be able to see otherwise. It would have been helpful to advise the use of older clothing due to the dust and dirty nature of the experience. This however, is a minor point and shouldn’t deter anyone from having a lot of fun.

We had the BEST morning! A fantastic and fun way to see this beautiful island. The staff were really lovely, we saw the most amazing beaches and stunning coastline, they even stopped to show us giant turtles swimming in a cove. Excellent trip and great value for money. Cheaper than the locals selling the trip around the beach/pool. 4 hours duration, about 3 hours driving the quads with a couple of stops. You get VERY dirty (sand) so don’t wear anything special!!

The only slight criticism was that where there is a slow rider or riders, they should be split off from main group. For a long stretch we was doing a very boring 10kmh because that rider was at the front. I would not like to see that person being pressured to go faster and make them feel unsafe but had they not switched over on the quad, the day would have been ruined. As it was the other rider on that quad was confident, so for the majority of the trip it was fantastic. Probably the best excursion we’ve been on, on any holiday. The photos were a bit pricey at €25 but I don’t regret buying them because they were amazing.

Places were great you visit on the tour, shame you couldn’t go faster in places and had to always stay in line. I wanted a more free experience with the quads where they let you go as fast as you like.

The Riu Touareg hotel was v large but well designed. Everything was kept spotless. We liked sitting outside having breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable. Just a very relaxing holiday. Best of all were the lovely people who worked in the hotel , looking after us.

I went in with high expectations of a fun day out. What we got absolutely blew my expectations out of the park. Quite literally the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life. The guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, the locals were so friendly and accommodating also. Regular stops to have a wander round were magical and I really felt like I was living in a movie. I would recommend this tour to absolutely anyone in Boa Vista and you will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

The whole experience was great, from pick up at the hotel right through to drop off! The staff at the 4x4 centre were helpful and the briefing on how to operate the bikes was easy to understand. I booked for my son and myself and was a bit nervous as I’d never ridden a quad bike before. The first part of the trip was nice and easy and gave me plenty of time to get to grips with what I was doing. By the end of the trip I felt absolutely confident. I really enjoyed this tour and would say it’s really good value for money. The places we visited were beautiful and totally deserted. This felt like a really special day and I would 100% recommend it. I’m considering booking again before we go home. I would strongly recommend wearing long trousers and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as well as taking a bottle of water and sunglasses as it is incredibly dusty.

We stopped in a village and felt really pressured to buy goods. We appreciate that it is a poor community but this is not what we expected or enjoyed. The 2 stops at the beaches were ok but more time on the quads would have been better.

This excursion is nothing short of spectacular. Some of the views are what you expect to see in a movie or on a postcard! The staff are great, the route and the people you meet are awesome and the views… Well like i said previously nothing short of spectacular! Was one of the best days of ours lives and have lots of professional pictures from the photographer who tags along on the excursion to remind us of our day! A must do!!

Excellent location, 5 minutes from Riu Karamboa. Amazing excursion, we shared the driving between the two of us. Lovely scenery especially Santa Monica beach and Varandinho. Great driving in the sand dune area.

Enjoyed every aspect of it. Riding the quads over varying terrain, arriving at the sand dunes and swimming in the sea, then tearing it up all the way back. The only thing we didn’t like was that it was only 4hrs! Didn’t want it to end.

For the money, the 4hr experience was great value. We had plenty of opportunity to drive the quad bikes across sand dunes, along the beach and had chance to explore some of the towns/villages of Boa Vista. My only criticism would be the long stop in the town where you get your free drink. I appreciate this is an opportunity for some of the local shopkeepers to sell you their souvenirs which is fine. It just felt like we stopped for longer than needed.
