The only comments we have was the jeep experience isn't ideal for passanger with back issues. The rep said it was a bit bumpy. It was very bumpy and my husband had recently had spinal surgery. The driver was very helpful and let my husband sit in the front seat but he is still suffering the effects of the trip.

Paulo our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. He gave us lots of information about the island and the people who live here. The trop was fantastic and our driver Nelson was fantastic too. The food we had for lunch was delicious and the setting on the beach was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour, great value.

The shipwreck was not as pictured, half of it gone! In 2 years it won’t be there. The guide was lovely, but a few times the cost of things here, how poor staff are and tipping was mentioned. Sand boarding down hill to sellers wasn’t great. Out guide was lovely, funny and very knowledgeable. The beach at the end saved this from getting a 3 out of 10, for the cost wouldn’t recommend.

The guide Paulo & Driver Elder were both very friendly & attentive to our needs. Paulo was very knowledgeable & engaging throughout the whole day with the information he gave us. Food/Drink stops were good,timely & had clean toilets I thought the stop at the ship wreck however was a little disappointing as it was meant to be a highlight, but there wasn't too much to see after the journey across the rough terrain to get there, im sure it was more so in the past but not so now! Overall very scenic

The guide,Paolo and driver were fantastic and knowledgeable. This tour is part being driving over the most rocky terrain/sand and part sitting by beaches. Given you probably cannot swim often in the sea around boa vista I would have preferred a walk around Sal Rei to watching the watching German tourists trying to kill themselves at Santa Monica beach but each to their own. The stop over at the little church was cute and Paolo told us some nice stories there.

The guide, Paul, was very nice, easy to approach, and extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience enjoyable 🙂 However, the 4x4 vehicles were quite uncomfortable. The seating arrangement was poor, and it was difficult to see anything properly during the ride, which took away from the overall experience.

The guide and drivers were very knowledgable and quite fun to be with for the day. Exceptionally passionate about the island, its history and future. The tour, took us to places you would never normally encounter including some lovely beeches. Lunch was excellent and the whole day blended so well, it was gone before we knew it

The tour guide and driver were brilliant and kept us entertained and well informed throughout the day. Very short stop at Sal Rei (15minutes) which should be a longer stop to explore a little further. A long 1 hour stop at Santa Monica which had very little to do apart from a bar, especially when it is a windy and the being on the beach just meant you got sand blasted

Guide was very good and informative, restaurant and food was excellent. At the wreck site there is lots of oil on the beach which stains footwear, this should be advised in advance so older shoes could be worn or shoe protectors could be given out.

A great day, food was excellent and Pablo was great and the driver too. Would recomend, just be aware you are in a 4 x 4 and rough drive. But we enjoyed the day. Only sad part was at the ship wreck the amount of plastics and rubbish swept onto the beach, but not TUI fault

After completing the trip, we didn't think that the description of the trip, on booking, was explained very well to us. We weren't told how much of this trip would be off road. Although this wasn't an issue with us, there were older people on the trip that found the whole experience very uncomfortable. This could have been explained better by the Tui rep.

Excellent dat out with a great tour guide Pablo Pablo very informative and friendly Only issue at Shipwreck rocks slippy and dangerous this was not conveyed and there was an accident. Staff extremely helpfully and dealt with situations speedily. Since returning to hotel informed by hotel Dr that accident and happened before and injury more serious. Therefore Giuide should should brief all tourists of the dangers of the rocks on the beach.

Our guide had excellent knowledge and was very friendly. The shipwreck, although an iconic part of Boa Vista's history, seems a long trek for what it was due to its deterioration. Lunch was excellent and the restaurant was lovely. Drinks and sandboarding was much more pleasurable than I was expecting. Santa Monica beach and it's bar was fabulous My only issue was the 4x4 itself. I was expecting to be sat forward facing. It was very uncomfortable.

Interesting to see many parts of the island. Paolo was a very good guide with good sense of humour. Lunch was of a surprising high standard for its location. 2 jeeps in convoy but guide remained in same jeep for whole trip so some people had very little contact with him.. 8 people in back of jeep carrying bags, towels etc was very cramped and uncomfortable. Forward facing seats would be better.

The visit to the shipwreck was horrible, our driver was useless, we got stuck in a sand bank because he did not follow the leading vehicle, l had to advise and help the other vehicle to pull us out , it was chaotic, our driver was inexperienced and inept. We did not enjoy the experience at all. We have had many holidays with Tui, but this has put a big cloud over our expectations.

Guide was amazing, informative and funny. Locations were all great with exception of Sal Rei. Feel you could possibly miss this out, but that is a personal opinion. Sand boarding was fun and lunch was fantastic in a beautiful restaurant and beach.

We enjoyed everything about it. Our guide (think his name was Paulo) was friendly, so informative and overall excellent. Our driver (Hugo) was excellent too. My wife has a disability and the driver went out of his way to help her in and out of the vehicle at every stop. Both did whatever they could to make the whole day fully inclusive for her, so she didn’t miss out on anything.

fantastic day trip. Boa vista isn't huge so great to see it in one day. Paulo our guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny. The trip to the ship wreck showed more of the island on the way. When that has gone, possible showing more of one of the towns as we drove through them quickly our guide wasn't in our vehicle and the driver didn't share anything about the town so that would be good. Great sand boarding and lovely beach lunch also just enough time at St Monica beach 100% recommend this.

The day was well organised. Our Tui guide for the day was welcoming, friendly and informative. The restaurant where we had our lunch was in a lovely setting with great service, tasty food and very nice cocktails. A great day overall that I would thoroughly recommend. Perhaps in the pre visit info it could state that many of the roads are extremely uneven/bumpy and this is why the day may be unsuitable for those with back problems.

Brilliant tour, you get to see the whole island. We had the expert knowledge of local tour guide Pablo and a very skilled driver to look after us all. We learned more about the history and culture than we would have ever got from a tour book or the internet. The included lunch stop was fabulous, at a gorgeous beach side restaurant on a stunning beach. The sand boarding was good fun. I would definitely recommend.

Paulo was very friendly and knowledgeable on all aspects of the island. We learnt a lot. The food in the beach restaurant was excellent and the place was paradise The driver was skilled in the sand dunes and the sand boarding was great fun. Overall really enjoyed the day thanks x

The trip was useful to see what there is on the Island (not a lot to be honest). The driver was great, Would have benefited from an audio system so that people in the back of the car could hear him. The guide (Paulo) was personable and interesting. It would have been good to have spent much more time in Sal Reí. The Chinese shop and the market are very interesting and useful (a fraction of the price of the hotel). On the downside the back of the car was rather cramped and uncomfortable.

Our driver, Ze Luis, was amazing, made the ride exceptional. The guide, Paulo, also was very funny and told us many interesting things. Food for lunch was good. But in Sal Rei it’s hard to go sightseeing alone as you are tried to get scammed to buy small wooden turtles for 15 euro (4 euro at the hotel) or other stuff.

The whole experience was 10/10. The tour guide was very knowledgeable friendly and covered all aspects of the island and how TUI work with the locals and local businesses which gave me a better understanding of Cape Verde and its culture. The lunch provided was a taste of Cape Verdean food, delicious and the restaurant and setting was amazing. Would recommend this excursion as a must.

Our guide Paolo was amazing - informative and funny. He even resembles Denzel Washington ?? We enjoyed every part of the tour, but especially the beautiful Santa Monica beach - simply stunning. Enjoyed an hour swimming in the ocean too. If I had to criticise anything, it would only be the chicken meal at the beach hut. The chicken itself was so overcooked that it had shrivelled up and was too crispy. As such, there wasn't a lot of actual chicken meat left to enjoy. The rest of the plate was good

Uitstekende gids & chauffeur. Leuke stops. Lekkere lunch. Geen bezoek aan Povaocao Velha, enkel een stop bij het kerkje. Dus geen “kijkje in het dorpsleven”, geen rondstruinen in het dorpje. Heel erg jammer! Zeker omdat het in de omschrijving van de excursie wel duidelijk vermeld wordt! Ook jammer dat er geen bezoek gebracht wordt aan de Varandinho grotten. Voor mij mag de stop van een uur (!) aan het strand van Santa Maria er uit zodat er wel tijd is voor Povaocao Velha en de grotten.

Compared to other tours we have been on we feel this is slightly overpriced. For the sights that we saw and meal/drinks included. Paulo was brilliant and the driver did a great job too! Despite being a 4x4 trip, I wasn’t expecting quite such a prolonged and very bumpy ride! 7 people crammed in the back of a Land Cruiser facing sideways to the direction of travel really isn’t fun in off-road conditions ! I would definitely warn off anyone who suffers from travel sickness! Luckily we don’t but it was a close thing. Sandboarding was great fun! The food at the beach restaurant was excellent and a very pleasant surprise!

first stop town 30 min quick look at church and 2 small shops back to cafe then visit ship wreck then off to another cafe meal was very nice then told we could swim for 30 min not long enough after food although it was a nice beach and rush to dry off then off to another church this time escorted with a small history lesson then off to another beach for 1 hour swim not as safe large waves should have had red flag so went to another cafe on beach more like a pub crawl for pensioners not impressed

The whole day was very well organised and the guide Paulo (Denzil) was fantastic, informative above and beyond. Fantastic sense of humour. If I had to have a downside- it was at the lunch break, the flies were out as normal but I wrongly expected there would have been some form of deterrent, something as simple and as very affordable fly fans, these would have made a big difference to our lunch. Over the whole day, we would do again.

The transport was too uncomfortable, the seating was too hard,we were packed in too tight,we could not see out of the window to appreciate the view.and there was no air-con. We sweated excessively despite windows being open. We were really looking forward to the snorkeling but it was cancelled. There were so many flies on the food, again no aircon, that we could not eat much of it.we enjoyed the sandbording,but it was brief. Our guide was excellent and entertaining too.

Enorm genoten van deze excursie! We hadden overal veel tijd. We konden een aantal keer sand boarden als je wilde en er was genoeg tijd om ergens te zwemmen of rond te lopen. Paulo onze gids vertelde veel over het eiland en toonde interesse in onze vragen of verhalen. De bestuurder was een erg goede rijder, geen enkele keer onveilig gevoeld. Our guide Paulo was amazing! So funny and knowledgable. He gave us so much information not just at the locations we visited but also during the drives to each place. We learnt a lot about the island! The food was amazing at the restaurant we went to for lunch and also a stunning location with friendly staff and 3 drinks were included throughout the day (including a cocktail!) with a choice of soft drinks, water and beers. For: Great group on the tour. Good locations. Lovely restaurant and brilliant driver. Against: Sand boarding. (one go each on a very short slope) Pointless. Lunch sport was a perfect spot for going in to the sea, (really calm waters) No time allowed. Final stop, (For a swim) too dangerous. Everyone on the trip was hoping to do some snorkelling. Back a lot earlier than we were told. Could easily have had an hour at the calm beach. This trip needs some work.

It all felt a bit rushed - the market in Sal rei was not a pleasant experience being hassled by traders. The shipwreck visit was ok but I was shocked about how much rubbish was there - if everyone in the tour was given a rubbish bag and asked to fill it - it would make a huge difference but it needs to be taken away just not left to rot in a pile - also the lunch stop was amazing and would have been more suitable to stay there to swim as the ocean was too rough at the next stop - we missed swim

The guide and driver were both great fun and very informative. I wish I could recall their names to single them out for praise, but I can't. Good variety of stops and activities. The only fly in the ointment is that I paid by card for convenience. 233 Euro turned into £285 on my bank statement. I feel that your reps should point out that card payments attract fees and give poor currency exchange rates. I had the 233 Euro in cash, had I paid that way I would have saved myself around £85.

Too much driving was involved. The sand boarding was a poor experience. The visit to the church was not required, we gained nothing from this experience. The visit to Santa Monica beach was a waste of time, no swimming on a supposed safe beach. If you paid me what I paid you to go on this trip again I would turn you down. As usual the staff were amazing throughout the day, they are a real asset. I will not be paying for an excursion with TUI ever again. Always come away feeling ripped off

Experienced driver, taking safety precautions when needed. Sand boarding was better than expected. Lunch at the restaurant was tasty and plentiful. Good to see other parts of the island and the guide was very knowledgable and spoke excellent English. Overall a fun enjoyable day out.

The main issue is that you spend way too much time in the Jeep, with short stops. Saying that, it is probably the only way to see the island, at least in part. The lunch venue was OK. My food was fine but my wife’s wasn’t good. Not enough time at Santa Monica beach. There is only 1 guide for the group. We were lucky to have him with us, but the other vehicle isn’t even connected by radio, so learn nothing. Total unacceptable, especially with the price charged per person.

Information about the island was excellent and all sites visited very informative I did say on seeing the impact of plastics being washed up I wish TUI would make available the opportunity for guests to give up half or a day of their holiday to help clean up the beaches of all the washed up plastics

Es wurden Fahrzeuge mit unterschiedlichem Standard eigesetzt. Wir saßen in einem Landrover hinten mit zu niedriger Decke in gestauchter Position, sehr unbequem, und kamen ständig mit dem Kopf an die Fahrzrugdecke. Das andere Fahrzeug, LandCruiser, war geräumiger. Wir haben den gleichen Preis für eine unbequemere Tour bezahlt und fordern eine Erstattung von jeweils 50% (2x55 Euro) für diesen Komfort-und Qualitätsunterschied!

Lewis was very informative went over and above what we have experienced from other tour Reps.. He and Nelson (The Driver) really made us all feel safe whilst walking around and driving through trickery areas including the off road dessert areas. Lunch stop excellent choice. Service Overall 8 due to internal issue not letting Lewis Know that Nicola is extremely Claustrophobic request for front seat was not relayed. My wife was sat at the front of the bench in the 4x4 so was able to ask the guide (Paulo) questions. As a result, we learned a great deal about the island, it's political structure, tourism, population, pensions, lack of hospitals/crime/jails and TUIs contribution to new roads. We also learnt a lot about the guide, who was equally loquaicious. When we spoke to others in different vehicles, we knew far more facts than they did and we impressed them with our comprehensive knowledge.

Very basic trip - cramped vehicle - pathetic trip into Sal Rei - great 4x4 through the sand however not at all suitable for people who suffer with travel sickness - the cramped vehicle did not help - no safety straps fitted to hold onto! The chapel visited wasn’t as expected and not even a candle to light - this is supposed to be a Christian church. Santa Monica beach - pretty enough but we couldn’t even take a dip in the sea. Lunch was very good. Expensive day for what you got. Did get you out.

The excursion was enjoyable overall, with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who made the experience engaging. However, the price—over €110—felt excessive given the cramped conditions. Being squeezed into the back of a 4x4 with six other adults made the journey uncomfortable, more like rush hour on the underground than a premium holiday experience. At this price point, greater emphasis should be placed on quality over quantity.

The overall experience was very good. The tour be more tailored to visitors needs ie the first drop off/experience was mainly ann intro to the what we could expect for the rest of the day. There wasn’t any opportunity to visit the craft/local markets and shops, the last drop off/visit was to allow us to swim which was a totally waste of time as the venue wasn’t up to standard, the customer experience was none existence, lack of beach facilities plus we were expected to pay for our refreshments

Paolo and djassi were absolutely amazing. Paolo was such a lovely caring knowledgeable person who made sure everyone was safe and happy. Djassi is an amazing driver and showed us his skills on the sand. Only issue which was no one’s fault was the flies, food was lovely as was drinks. Sandboarding a fab experience and fun! (Except I crashed into the tyres! Not hurt tho!)

Carlos our driver was excellent - professional and a great driver. Paulo was personable and knowledgeable but somewhat egotistical and shared too much personal information. He commented that he is a 4x4 guy - explaining he has 4 children with 4 different women. He told us how much his mortgage is etc. several times I thought to ask something about what I could see but he was talking about himself. Also felt he made too much comment about expectation of a tip.

overall felt this trip is not worth the money, we was the 2nd vehicle so had no guide explaining sights along the routes driver didn't speak, long drive in over packed vehicle made it uncomfortable as you faced each other and no where to move legs. stops where short when we visited places 15/20mins at times so could not see anything. For an extremely bumpy ride I would have preferred front facing seats. The bench seats really don’t offer a good / comfortable experience and try not to sit right next to the door when you are 6’3” !! The sites visited were ok … good explanations of the history of the Island group.

Enjoyed the tour guide Palo. Shipwreck was brilliant and offloading to get there was alot of fun. Enjoyed being told the history of the island and shown pictures. The lunch provided was delicious and at a great location. What we didn't like so much - sand dunes were disappointing. This couldn't be helped - unable to swim in the beautiful seas.

My sister and I had a wonderful time on the tour. Paolo our tour guide was the best, incredibly knowledgeable with a lot of humour thrown in. The driver was great and impressed us with his driving skills through the desert and along some of the bumpy roads. It’s a small island but we got to see enough, beautiful beach views and met some of the friendly locals along the way. This really is a beautiful island with no stress. Lunch was delicious and exceeded our expectations.

This was great value for money, with a meal included. The tour guide and the driver, Lewis and Nelson were exceptional. I say this as my occupation is both a tour guide and an off road instructor for Land Rover, so I know how demanding the roles are. Lewis’s breadth of knowledge was immense, and had the answer to every question put to him. Nelson, not only doubled up as an extremely capable driver but also a brilliant photographer, taking many memorable shots that were sent to us free of charge

Paulo, the guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. We got to see parts of the island that we wouldn’t otherwise have gone to. The only downside was a church that we went to wasn’t open as the key wasn’t available to our guide but overall it wasn’t y that big a deal as the chapel was tiny so I bet there wasn’t much to see anyway. Lunch was good as was the visit to the shipwreck. A good day out.

A good trip, packed lots in but perhaps not enough time at the market. Lunch was good. Sand boarding fun. A little rocky at times but to be expected. Ourguide Luis was great , funny, knowledgeable and very kind and considerate - he took my bags and sorted water to wash the sand off my feet! The only disappointment was that where we stopped at the beach, it was too rough to swim which was a shame as we cant swim in the sea at our hotel due to it being dangerous. We were told we would be able to!

I enjoyed the opportunity on this tour to see more of the island and learn a bit more about its history and how people live. Although the island is small, driving from one place to the next took up much of the time due to most of the tour being on unmade tracks (not the most comfortable ride, being bounced around in the back of a Jeep, but I didn't mind that!) I would prefer to have more time for the trip or one destination less, to allow more time at each. Santa Monica beach a bit underwhelming

There really isn’t much to see on Boa Vista and felt the trip was a little too long. After lunch we had 25 minutes for a swim at a lovely beach before moving to the next part of the tour, a chapel. That was fine but then a long journey to a new beach for swimming but unfortunately due to previous weather conditions not ideal. Nobody’s fault but, with hindsight and flexibility it would have been better to spend more time at first beach. I know that’s not possible when you have an itinerary.

The guide and driver were very good. We could have more time to spend in Sal Rei instead of the beach.

Fantastic day spent seeing some of the sights the island has to offer. Lunch was really good and drinks provided throughout the day. The guide made the day, very friendly, knowledgeable and with lots of humour thrown in. Really enjoyed the sand boarding on one of the stops. Saw the shop wreck, one of the chapels, 2 stops for swimming and going on the beach. Scenery was spectacular. Deffo recommend

The morning of the tour is great old church in main town the beach where the ship wreck is is absolutely amazing then a drink and a bit of sandboarding then lunch at Perola D'Chaves beautiful restaurant and beach. After lunch it just disappointed from then. The first church on the island was rebuilt after being blown away by a storm not that long ago so wasn't old and finally the best beach on Boa Vista that was washed away months ago so why go there waste of time and money

You certainly get jiggled about on this excursion, however, it it certainly worth it, Sal Rei to start with, then across the dunes a shipwreck, sand boarding, lovely lunch at Miss Christine's then Santa Monica, Paulo was a font of local knowledge and very entertaining

I sat in the front of vehicle so I was ok but my chap sat in the back. His view is different to mine. There were no hand holds. It was very uncomfortable. Seats too low. People crammed in. I felt a little uneasy in the market. A lady took me to her shop and stood in the doorway. I told her I felt frightened. In Sal Rei they were killing animals at the roadside and cutting up their meat ready to serve in the restaurants. People need to be warned about this! The meal wasn't good. Lewis was good

Our guide Paola was really informative and funny. Zooming up the sand dunes was fantastic and the sand boarding was an unexpected treat. Lunch was really good, much better than expected. The beach was not what we were expecting as we thought it would be a calmer place to swim and mainly sat in the cafe for the hour we were there. Overall though a fabulous day out.

We visited a variety of places so we had a good mixture of sight-seeing, a bit of shopping and relaxation on Santa Monica Beach. Everybody was friendly. This was the best day of our trip to Cape Verde and I am glad I booked it

The rep was fantastic, he kept us fully informed and was truly lively throughout the tour. He gave us lots of information and made it enjoyable throughout the tour. Our day started off great and continued that way all because of the cheeky, loveable rep called Lewis! He Has great knowledge of Cape Verde being brought up there and made the day fun throughout The last stop at santa Monica beach was a bit of a low as its not as nice as other beaches on the island. Would have been better staying at chaves beach for longer. The other guides need to follow in his foot steps.

Too long on the uncomfortable vehicles. Didn’t see the town or harbour except for a tiny market of about 10 stalls. When visiting the exceptional beach, we drove past it and stopped at the bar at the very end of the beach so we could see it in the distance. The beach was spectacular and supposedly one of the top 10 in the world- stretching for miles and wide open and empty from what we could see but the point of the trip to this beach would be to actually go on it.

Would have liked more time on the beach. That was to short and the best part of the trip. Lunch was great at the beach bar apart from the many flies. Sal rai felt a little unsafe for two women on their own to walk around so we stayed on the pier. We kept being hassled by sellers there and sandboarding who didn’t take no for an answer. Was nice seeing lots of different things in one day.

The guide, Paulo, was amazing and shared a lot of local knowledge. Would have been nice if he was in our vehicle at times, but Egor tried his best with his limited English. Did not like to shipwreck and beaches surrounding this area were full of rubbish & the worst I have ever seen. Even more concerning is this is the turtle breading area. TUI should not be promoting environmental disasters as a tourist attraction. More is needed from a waste collection and recycling perspective on the island.

AMAZING TOUR, if you do anything do this it’s so worth it and amazing to see everything, it’s 9am-4pm roughly, you get 3 drinks at various stops and a meal which was 10/10, our tour guide pablo was one of the best men ever give him a raise and give him a tip!!!!, we stopped in a village and had time to go to a couple shops and get scammed buying souvenirs so be wary but overall tour was the best excursion to offer and pavlo was a top lad and the meal we ate was to die for

Paulo the guide was excellent in knowledge, humour and insights into life on the island. However, the tour itself was a lot of time in the car to see some, what was for us, pretty uninspiring sites. E.g. the ship wreck was a long bumpy journey and not really worth it. The church was ok. The final beach stop was a lovely beach, but so was the hotels. The pit stop in the dunes and restaurant were welcome breaks but the choice of food should be made clearer when booking.

The tour spilt into two vehicles and the English speaking guide was on the other vehicle. Whilst the driver was pleasant he had limited English and pointed out landmark names etc. for instance this is rabil. I was in the front of the vehicle but the people in the back including my husband could hear nothing and had not idea where or what was going on, whereas the people on the other truck said they had a running commentary about where they were going what it was about whilst In the truck

The driver and guide were excellent throughout the day. The whole thing was too expensive. Visiting Sal Rei was lovely, but for 30 minutes. It would have been a nice place for a swim, but we chose the 'market' instead. The meal was lovely in a very nice restaurant by the sea. This would have been a nice swim stop also, but there was no time. We were taken to a small church, which was nice but unnecessary. Santa Monica beach was fab, but advised to be cautious in the sea. The main swim stop!

The 4x4 adults only island tour was brilliant! Our guide Paolo was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the island and kept us entertained. Our beachfront lunch was delicious, we had steak which was perfectly cooked and there is also fish, chicken and a vegetarian option to choose from as well as a drink of your choice (soft drink, beer or wine). We really enjoyed spending some time at Santa Monica beach which was absolutely beautiful! Overall, would highly recommend!

The only thing I’d have any complaint about is not enough padding on the seats in the back and of the 4+4 lol. On the whole had a really good day Paulo is a really good representative of your company made everyone welcome and comfortable in every way he could……. The island tour was very interesting, and covered a wide variety of sights and experiences. It did (unavoidably) involve a lot of driving on bumpy roads, and is maybe not for the easily car-sick. Better clarity over what "suitable footwear" means would have been useful - flip flops would actually have been better than the trainers I wore.

After bouncing around in the back of the 4x4 (it really isn’t for you if you have back problems!) we had our meal at a beautiful beach cafe. This was the ONLY shortcoming as although the food was delicious, it was obvious that we were on a trip as our portions could hardly be classed as for an adult, literally six fries and a 3 oz steak - “Normal” customers had healthy sized portions - all in our group were unhappy with the shortcomings!

Adults tour was cancelled so did normal one. Lots of faffing about before we set off then we got pulled from our car and shoved in back of another and separated, my hubby next to driver, me squashed in back, seat belts not working and thrown around, age 56 and a dodgy back. First stop sand dune to watch folks slide down, mediocre lunch took ages. Guide lovely but not much info about the area. Disappointing overall for best part of 200 pounds for 2 people and didn't feel safe at times in 4 x 4.

Loved the wreck. Would of liked more time there. The village had little to see. Less time there. Not enough time in Sal Rei to see anything. Maybe a museum tour would be good. Lunch was excellent. Would of liked much longer to swim rather than go to the second beach where we were told it was not safe to swim and nothing to do

Overall a really good trip, the beach at the end a little disappointing as far too rocky to swim , be better to miss the bar off and stop where the tour that’s not adult only stopped to enjoy the beach with a swim

Een aanrader als je op 1 dag verschillende plekjes van Boa Vista gezien wil hebben. De uitzichten zijn prachtig. Meerdere opties voor de lunch mogelijk zoals vis, steak, kip of vegetarisch. Ook 2 keer ruim de tijd gehad om te zwemmen aan de prachtige stranden.

Maybe have more cold drinks available even just water but the trip itself was brilliant. Staff very helpful and informative. Lunch provided was lovely and the off-roading will brilliant. Would recommend this trip for sure

We were pleasantly surprised that locals weren't coming up to us to try sell us stuff and not leaving us alone (had that on other holidays). Everyone was chill. 1 driver, 1 person in the front, 8 in the back. Plenty of stops where you get to see nearly everything that the island has to offer. Praia de Chaves was the highlight but we stayed longer at Santa Monica, where the waves were dangerous and rocks everywhere, so a bit dodgy for swimming. Praia de Chaves had the calmest waters + tasty food

We begonnen onze dag met een trip naar de woestijn waar we gingen sandboarden, dit kwam voor ons als een verassing, aangezien dit niet in de omschrijving staat! Dus je mag zittend de heuvel af, was gaaf. Na een korte drankpauze reden we door naar het scheepswrak aan de noord kant van het eiland. Hier mag je niet zwemmen door de golven en gingen we na 15 minuten weg door naar een restaurant voor lunch met zwemstop. Dag afsluiten bij Santa Monica met een cocktail. Gids Paulo, HELD. Leuk gedaan!

Paulo was the best guide ever - kind, knowledgeable, personable, he really went above and beyond to introduce us to his culture and made sure we had a fantastic day exploring Boa Vista. Our driver Domingo was skilled and fantastic as well. We enjoyed all the activities, the lunch, and the beautiful sights.

Our guide Paulo was fabulous had lots of knowledge and he was great fun. Our driver was lovely and courteous, his driving considering some of the terrain was excellent. Did find the local sellers in a little too much however they were also courteous and accepted when we said no.

We really enjoyed the 4x4 tour the guide was really good in explaining about the island the only down side was the jeep with no air conditioning in it because its really hot and sweaty being in the vehicle but overall a very good tour

Leuke excursie, Geweldige Gids Paulo en goede chauffeur Igor. Wij bezochten de hoofdstad, sloppenwijken en met de jeep door de woestijn en zand. Het scheepswrak, sandboarden met stop voor drankje, overheerlijke lunch keuze uit kip of tonijn en aan het Santa Monica strand tijd om te zwemmen en afsluiting met een cocktail. Het was nogmaals een TOP dag met een goede indruk van BOA VISTA.

Wilson and the driver was excellent. The day was a great experience and good for knowledge about Boa Vista and the history of the islands. Great value for money. The lunch was much better than expected with a choice of menu and drinks.

Excellent day trip, lunch and restaurant location was amazing. Only 6 of us in the vehicle which was great, 8 would have been a squeeze. Guide Paulo and driver Nelson were brilliant. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately the sea at the stunning Santa Monica beach was far too rough for swimming.

Mooie afwisseling van de highlights van Boa Vista. Goede en vriendelijke chauffeur. De stop in Povoacao had iets langer mogen zijn, en de weliswaar aangename gids iets minder het belang van fooien voor Kaapverdiërs herhalend.

Het is een leuke tocht om het eiland te ontdekken! Ik verwachte meer in contact te komen met de cultuur en de mensen in Sal Rei en in het dorpje Velha. De ministop bij het haventje was echt minimaal. Waarom geen winkelstraat waar iets te beleven is? of een markt? We reden door het dorp Rabil, zag er ook schattig uit, waarom daar niet een stop? We reden langs een mooi wit kerkje, waarom geen informatie daarover en een foto-stop? De gids zat in een andere auto, dus geen info onderweg. Jammer.

We had a lovely day visiting all the corners of little Boa Vista island. Our tour guide Mano and driver Domingo were very courteous and professional. Highlights for us were the delicious lunch at the beach restaurant and the beautiful unspoilt beach at Santa Maria.

Leuk om iets van het eiland te zien. Ongepast dat de gids zijn scharreltje meeneemt. Slecht wat om het hotel rondjes gereden. Jammer om zoveel tijd aan zwemmen te besteden, dat kun je ook bij het hotel doen. De prijs / kwaliteit was niet in verhouding.

Our guide Manu was brilliant gave lots of interesting facts. Highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of coming to Boavista. See most of the sites and at a nice chilled out pace. Beach cafe for food was in a great setting and the food was delicious.

Sandboarding was so much fun! Wilson and Manu our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The only thing was the weather was a bit windy and cold so we could not swim in santa monica beach but it was still nice to sit and relax there.

A good tor of the highlights of Boa Vista, a nice mix of locations showing what the island has to offer. Our tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable our driver was excellent. Lunch at Perola d’Chaves was tasty and plentiful, great staff there they were friendly and helpful.

Voor het hotel opgehaald, wat erg fijn was. Keurig op tijd, wat ik ook niet verwacht had. De gids zat in een andere auto voor ons en onze chauffeur sprak amper Engels. Hierdoor was het tijdens het rijden rustig en kreeg je weinig informatie over het eiland. In de beschrijving staat dat je ook in Sal Rei uitstapt, dit is niet het geval. Wij zijn er alleen doorheen gereden. Erg jammer, want had de hoofdstad graag willen zien met een gids erbij.
