O que esperar
During the 1930s, Nuremberg was at the centre of the Nazi Party’s biggest rallies. Today, you’ll visit the site where they were held – the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. You’ll travel from the port with your guide to the Documentation Centre – a museum that’s filled with exhibits about life in Germany during the Second World War, Hitler and the Third Reich. During your tour, you’ll see photos of the rally grounds packed with crowds of 150,000 soldiers and supporters. Plus, you’ll be able to watch footage taken at the events themselves. When you’re done looking around the displays and wandering the overgrown grounds, you’ll have some free time to explore the surrounding area. We’d suggest going for a stroll down the Great Road. You’ll pass by a couple of scenic lakes, and you can visit the Zeppelin Field – a big showground with a 90-year-old grandstand designed by Albert Speer, Hitler’s chief architect.
