What to expect
Get ready for an unforgettable two-day private tour of the Angkor Wat temples.
On the first day, you'll explore Angkor Thom, Bayon, Neak Pean, Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre and Pre Rup Temple. Your journey begins at the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom, lined with 54 stone figures on each side - gods to your left and demons to your right. Inside the fortified city of Angkor Thom, you'll encounter "The Bayon", renowned for its beautifully crafted central towers adorned with over 200 enormous faces. Next, you'll pass by the "Terrace of the Leper King" and the "Terrace of Elephants" before heading to Neak Pean, a man-made island featuring a Buddhist temple. After enjoying lunch at a local eatery, you'll visit Banteay Srei. This smaller sandstone structure is celebrated for its detailed reliefs, considered some of the finest craftsmanship in Cambodia. On your way back, take a pause at the well-preserved Banteay Samre. Conclude your day with a climb to catch the sunset at the Pre Rup temple.
On day two, you'll visit Angkor Wat, Preah Khan, Ta Nei and Ta Prohm Temple. Start your day with a pre-dawn departure for sunrise outside of Angkor Wat. After breakfast, you'll continue to the ruins of Preah Khan temple, where tree roots intertwine with crumbling stone structures. Once the sun has risen, you'll return to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll visit Ta Nei, a late 12th Century stone temple located in Angkor. Your adventure concludes at the jungle-enshrouded Ta Prohm.
