The boat has more space on it. Snack bar was friendly but had little variety. The toilets had no seats which was the worst thing. That invited people not to sit but hang and they get very dirty and wet. Not expensive items for owners and I think essentials in ladies toilets

Bus was late, left waiting in car park on return for almost 30 mind. Not acceptable. German speaking Tui rep, only seemed interested in communicating with her fellow people and not the limited number of English passengers. Should be advertised as a boat cruise with a very small chance of seeing a turtle as we were told by the experts that most had now left the area after laying their eggs.

No air conditioning on the pick up coach , was dropped off at location for boat just left thier for 40 mins waiting for our guide to show us what boat or where we was going ! Absolutely zero communication from the driver , everybody stood around not knowing what was going off ! Rep arrived finally and lead us to boat and asked us to line up like children,those that did line up had to wait longer to get on the boat! The boat trip itself was great , no turtle sl seen tho , 2 swim stops

It was a shame there was no pool noodles or life jackets for the children to get in the ocean on the two swim stops provided. All the staff were really good and the Turtle talk was a highlight. Unfortunately the actual Turtles didn't materialize but that's nature for you. The cruise was still a lovely experience and the weather, perfect. The coach to and from the venue was roomy and well air conditioned. Thanks for a great experience

The trip was a big disappointment! Health and safety was non existent. No safety gear available for the swimmers. No loo seats on the toilets and the floors were flooded. And the boat had far too many people on board so where we were sat we couldn’t see anything. The boat was pumping out some nasty fumes. We were surprised that TUI are part of this experience. We have travelled far and wide with TUI and this was the worst. Sort it out!!

Thought it rather boring, total 1hr 10 min swim breaks too much. Thought TUI guide abrupt and rude. Too many people on boat, felt unsafe and squeezed in. Guide said at start most of the turtles had already left the area, if so why is it being advertised as a turtle tour?

There was only 15 minutes in Keri to shop/relax/sunbathe. We didn't see any turtles which was quite disappointing- however appreciate it does say in the itinerary if we are lucky. The boat felt quite over crowded and more shaded areas would have been nice.

After receiving g confirmation that the trip was going ahead despite the fires I was surprised. We were told on the coach no changes to itinerary, However, I knew the area was being used by the planes and that the roads were shut. To then embark and be told twice while on board that we have just had a call and can’t do this element was frankly insulting. It was obvious that the trip could never be fulfilled. A bit of honesty and the chance to rebook or refund would have been the correct thin

Very efficient pick up/drop off and friendly staff. Cruise was lovely with good commentary and two swim stops, but sadly didn’t see any turtles, which seems to be a common theme from speaking to others who have been on “turtle spotting” trips ??

This is simply a boat trip. The staff were nice. Issues: we had to wait 25 mins for the pickup. There was not much to see. We stopped twice for swimming but there were not the right locations in my view. First stop: nothing to see, no fish, no turtles, no caves, nothing of interest. The second stop was meant to see turtles. We didn't see any. The third stop was for a second swim, which we couldn't do because we stopped in some kind of crude oil area.

Overall very well organised trip. Coach although a little late picked up and dropped off and was very friendly. Tui rep gave a lot of facts when driving along which was good. Boat trip had lovely views but didn’t see turtles which have heard is quite frequent on this trip unfortunately even though is main reason for going First swim stop was lovely and well needed second however they decided to stop where sea was full of fuel. Entered water and came up stained of grease. Some very unhappy ppl!

Myself and my two daughters had a great time on this trip & managed to see a couple of turtles. Thoroughly enjoyed throughout. Would definitely consider coming back in the future. The guide was also very knowledgeable & such a lovely girl.

Overall I nice day out with the family & we were lucky enough to spot the turtles. Pros- Turtle presentation given by the volunteers was great & very informative. Beautiful tour of the island & little hidden gems on the way. Nice swimming spots (although not long enough) Cons- could not really understand the TUI rep or hear her when giving announcements. Waited at 3 of the pick up stops for 15mins+ Not enough time swimming. By the time everyone was in the water it was time to get back onboard

Water was too rough for swimming if you were not a strong swimmer Ladder to get into the sea was crowded up and down mostly with people immediately wanting to get back on to the ship. Very difficult to get back in and I was scared to get off the boat for the 2nd attempt of swimming. Coach transfer to the boat dropped us off in random car park and pointed us where to go instead of telling us. No signs of where to go had to ask a local.

It was advertised as a stop in a village and turtle island with conservation information. We spent the entire 5 hours on the boat. Did not stop in a village. The conservation was presented on a lower deck and the other de ks could not hear anything. Turtle Island was an island shaped like a turtle. We saw 1 turtle deep in the ocean. I know you can't guarantee sightings but 5 hour boat ride would be a more appropriate title

Overall an enjoyable half day excursion. The boat tour of Keri peninsula was fun, and the scenery is beautiful. Swim stops were welcome as it was a very hot day. The turtle spotting was a little underwhelming, trying to catch a sight of a turtle or two in a very busy bay filled with other boats (we briefly saw one turtle from a distance). The boat ride back to Zakynthos town was quite lengthy, but the views were amazing. Special shout-out to our guide, Sophie, who was lovely.

The only pro was the expertise of the guide. Cons - no air con on coach, no food on the boat (had sold out of everything aside from croissants and ice cream from the morning tour), very unsafe water stops, few kids in tears due to rough current. Not enough woggles. Other passengers helping people in difficulty not the staff. No headcount at all, not one check as to tickets when getting on the boat. Very crowded and the toilets smelt awful that the entire lower deck was extremely unpleasant.

The whole experience was well organised from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were very aware of not encroaching on the turtles unlike other boats, really appreciated that! The cafe was well stocked and had a good variety.

The scenery was amazing on the boat, as well as the boat being really nice. There was adequate seating however once the boat filled up there were only seats upstairs available with no shade. Boat staff were lovely and accommodating however the Tui staff were only helpful when we asked for information. We couldn’t hear the Tui guide throughout the whole time except at the end when we were given bus info. We had no information given when booking other than pickup time from the hotel.

We did the PM trip. We started at Keri, went around the Keri caves & had a swim stop (I was pleasantly surprised that pool noodles were available for people that wanted them). The guides were informative, full of knowledge about the turtles & friendly. We then saw turtles & carried on around Vassilikos and Banana Beach for a 2nd swim stop before mooring at Zante Town. We had a fabulous time. We had a photo taken at the beginning which we were able to buy too which was a lovely touch. Great Day

We found the whole trip very informative from the time we got on the boat. We were picked up by bus from designated place, but we didn't have a guide on our coach we were met at the Dock by her and another coach or 2. We had photos taken as we boarded but weren't told before hand and only one photo was shown to us onboard where unfortunately our Daughter had her eyes closed. Would of been a great keep sake else.

The upstairs of the boat was full up, so to be able to look at the sea we sat outside downstairs People and crew smoked so often there was constantly someone smoking and it wasn’t avoidable which was unpleasant. Views and trip nice otherwise.

Felt like seeing the turtles could not be done due to ‘smaller boats unsettling’ the turtles. Therefore this is not a turtle trip it is a boat trip with a small chance of seeing turtles if no other boats around. No experts on board like promised to learn about turtles so not an ‘educational day out’ as advertised. Time in ‘Keri’ was 15 minutes before the coaches left. So no time to ‘shop for souvenirs, relax in a typical taverna or hit the beach’ as advertised. All in all a real shame.

The swim stops were very much welcomed on this very warm day. Lovely to have an opportunity to see some of the spectacular scenery on the coast. We were really pleased that our boat respected the rules of only 2 boats viewing turtles at a time, it was a pity that some of the smaller boats did not follow this. Despite being on the top deck, we did not manage to observe the turtles spotted during the visit. All in all it was a good trip and perfect for a warm day.

I really enjoyed seeing a turtle in its natural habitat. The 2 stops for swimming was great fun I really enjoyed jumping off the boat and having a swim. The only part which I didn't like was the way we spotted the Turtle as there were 3 tour boats boxing in the 1 turtle that we could find which seemed cruel. Also seeing the small island that the turtles nest on having boats and tourists on them was sad. Its the turtles habitat and they should have the safety of their island with no tourists.

Was told the bus was from our hotel (in Kalamaki) to Laganas where we’d pick up the boat, which is approx 10 mins. We ended up being on the bus approx 45 mins & went from Zakynthos harbour instead! The boat was busy with people everywhere but that was to be expected. The guides were knowledgeable and helpful. We felt like although the whole country was “protecting” the turtles, when a sighting was made, the poor things were absolutely surrounded. And our boat was the biggest!

It would be nice if there had been somewhere secure to store personal belongings whilst swimming rather than having to either turn turns to swim or ask strangers. Other than this the whole experience was 10/10

Very enjoyable trip, and made more user-friendly with having a guide. Only slight negative was that the pick up point was a little ambiguous with the naming. There are two locations with similar names within 30 yards of each other. We ended up waiting at the wrong location and were late arriving to the coach. The driver was very gracious about it though.

We thought that the trip was good value for money. We saw six or so turtles and the ship's crew treated them respectfully by keeping a distance from them. The on-board presentation by members of the turtle preservation volunteer group was very interesting indeed. We also thoroughly enjoyed the two stops for swimming off the boat.

Overall very good day but the original trip I booked on the 16 th of June was cancelled so I wasted 45 minutes waiting for the coach after messaging TUI I was informed the trip had been cancelled so I rebooked it for the following day which transpired I also booked my friend on the trip but the coach driver thought our pick up was at Herodotus supermarket not Herodotus studios he came back for us thankfully after that the trip went well and was very enjoyable.

Your rep got us on the coach (no problem except boiling hot) whilst on the coach she announced that the boat would be at the dock until 13:30 so as some could stop for light refreshments which we did, at 13:18 the boat sailed without us ( my wife and my self) rather than wait for 4 hours plus we had to make our own way back to our resort and hotel. Very very disappointing, we often go on boat trips whilst away and were therefore upset

We were picked up 20 mins late which I get sometimes can’t be avoided. I was sceptical when I saw the big boat around the environmental side of things but there were many things that showed the turtles welfare was the main priority. Two fabulous swimming spots and good facilities on board. A wonderful cruise around the island in the open sea and then an incoming experience into Zakynthos town harbour. A really lovely afternoon and I would definitely recommend.

This cruise was fantastic in every way! Everything was well organised and the boat was quite spacious. We were 6 hrs from pick up to drop off and the cruise was cheaper than the first cruise to Smugglers Cove. Very enjoyable. A must for any tourist visiting Zakinthos!

We arrived at Keri, didn’t realise we were here to shop etc, only had time to grab a drink. The rep was already looking for us. On the boat all was ok, just found it disappointing that we never visited a beach to get off and look about. The write up is a little confusing, didn’t expect to sail around for ages looking at the one turtle!

Loved the boat, cruise etc. It fell down at the end when there was no coach waiting to take us back to our hotel. After some time, another had been ordered, but leaving us standing in the sun. When it arrived, and was partially loaded, a mouse ran out and panicked some of the passengers. A very unsatisfactory end to what had been a good afternoon

The trip was described as having a stop off in keri village for shopping, beach and enjoying a local taverna. This never happened! I also didn’t enjoy getting no communication that the trip was cancelled on the first attempt of doing it, in an age of apps, emails, text and WhatsApp you’d have thought a quick message would’ve been easy. Lovely to wait around for an hour for a coach that’s never coming with upset, hot kids!! The trip itself was pretty good.

Getting off the overcrowded boat and back to our hotel, last to board the boat no room on first two decks in the sun, had to sit down stairs in the shade was then allowed to stand up stairs until it got rough then sent down stairs to sit could not here commentary because of the noise of the engines first stop was a swim stop then quickly off to see the turtles no luck as we were stuck downstairs on this overcrowded boat it seems like endless cruising looking at nothing apart from the sea

A very enjoyable trip along the dramatic coastline of the Keri peninsula with a 30 minute swim stop before continuing along the route to the Keri sea caves. We returned back along the coast to Turtle Island while our guide explained about the conservation efforts to protect these wild creatures. We then continued our voyage across to Laganas bay where we eventually spotted a Turtle coming up for a breather. One more swim stop before we made our way to Zakynthos Town.

Coach pick up/drop off very good, Sylvia was a lovely guide but could not hear her on the ship, the transmission needs to be clearer. We were so looking forward to the stop where we could learn about the turtle conservation and purchase gifts but no stop happened which was disappointing.

Was cancelled at short notice with the excuse of “operational change” (the second trip that was cancelled for the same reason in the week we were there!) Contacted tui customer survive whose only response was to “look at the app and book another trip” or “book with a local operator”.

There wasn’t a lot of commentary/guiding going on. We did see two turtles having some intimate time together (??) which was wonderful to see. Generally felt a bit long and didn’t include time to wander around Keri town as advertised. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great which meant not many people got in the water at the swim stops but they still kept us at one stop for 45 mins. We got in the water for the first swim stop & it was a bit overwhelming with the whole boat standing staring at us!

Just wish we knew it is out season for seeing turtles. Not much for kids to do so take entertainment. Other wise really enjoyed the boat ride and seeing the sights.

The trip was great for the staff and Laura was an amazing guide .. the turtle conservation team were knowledgeable and presented well .. but the part which disappointed was the usual one that nature can never be relied upon and no titles showed, although we did see a seal momentarily

Pick and drop off safely to hotel is easy and convenient. Great to get out on the water and sea Zante from the sea. Felt very safe on ferry like vessel with lots of friendly crew. However, didn't see any sea turtles and told chances of doing so in Sept very low. We didn't realise there were two sea swim opportunities so having not seen any turtles and not taking part in either of the 30 minute sea swim stops, it ended up feeling like a long and disappointing trip.

We could not hear the rep from where we where sat. Unfortunately, after what seemed ages going round in a circle we never spotted any sea turtles, which was a disappointment. The first swim the water was very rough and in my opinion dangerous. The second swim the water was calm, more enjoyable to swim. Overall was a lovely afternoon out.

The boat stopped twice for swim breaks which was lovely as it was very hot. I found the food and drink on board pricey but it was nice. We only saw 2 turtles but it was the time of year as most of the turtles had hatched so the parents had already left and only a few resident turtles left. But still it was lovely to see. It was a lovely long journey on the boat. Really worth the money.

I think you have to b carefull in saying it's turtle experience. I realise u can't guarantee seeing turtles but when we found out main season is may to August and it's now September it's a little misleading! We were lucky that we did see one turtle swimming, however bless him he was surrounded by 3 boats must have been fairly distressing for him. The itinerary also we could stop at Keri to look around, this didn't happen went straight from bus to boat! But overall a lovely afternoon!

We were picked up by a minibus from Vasilikos and transferred to nearby Argassi for a change onto a coach, then onto Zante harbour. We weren’t told about this upon booking, so did end of alone outside of a hotel we were unfamiliar with for about 20-25 mins. It would have been good to be pre-warned of this. The boat wasn’t over crowded, which was great, and there was the option of indoor and outdoor seating. The captain was very mindful of finding a safe swimming spot.

There was no safety explanation didn't know were the life jackets were. Food was great the lady even did me a fresh sandwich as I'm lactose intolerant. The turtle talk was very informative and I like the fact the turtles come first .

This was an interesting trip and our guide Laura was a good organiser and impressive with her multi linguistic skills. We enjoyed learning about the turtle conservation work taking place in Zakynthos and we were lucky enough to see a turtle. We did feel concerned about the number of boats crowding the turtle but the charity explained they always observe the interaction and record data for analysis with follow up action if required. An enjoyable experience overall and the Keri Caves were amazing!

Boat was a little worse for wear. Ladders and platform we jumped from or climbed up were rusty and torn. Couldn’t properly understand the rep giving facts in English about the tour, speakers weren’t very clear. Swims were nice. Spotting turtles good. We got a decent day out for the price though

We had nicer swimming spots on other tours. The one by Keri Caves was too crowded and too choppy to keep the water clear and snorkeling enjoyable. The overall route was well chosen and the snack bar definitely helped the experience

I enjoyed the overall trip, swim stops were good and time on the boat was good. Food reasonable, boat clean and spacious. Your rep was fab. Negative - crew seemed disinterested in guest not friendly or approachable.
