Der Tauchgang gleich am Hafen war lächerlich. Das kann man nicht schnorchelstopp nennen. Der 2 te Stopp auf der Sandbank war sehr schön. Die Insel Saona war soweit ok, das Essen war schlecht und nicht ausreichend. Wir waren die letzten am Buffett und es wurde nichts mehr nachgelegt

The catamaran on the way back, there were no seats available, it was so hot and sunny and was no shade, had to sit on the ground for 2 hours. The snacks available on the catamaran and speed boat was just cheese and ham sandwiches and nachos.

Wij hebben ooit 20 jaar geleden een trip gedaan naar soana. Dit viel in het niet met nu. Fantastische reisleider. Deze vertelde onderweg veel over wat we onderweg zagen. Zo was de bustocht naar de haven van vertrek een fijne trip. De snacks op de speedboot en het broodje top service. Mooie tijd voor snorkelen in de haven. Ruim de tijd kunnen zwemmen, fotos kunnen maken, zeesterren kunnen zien in natuurlijk zwembad. Fijne lunch op saona en lang genoeg op saona kunnen zwemmen. En katamaran top.

Your photo description of the beach was nothing like it actually was, Tenby beach was more tropical. Full of Mosquitoes. Transport took over half hour than told. We only spent just over 2 hours on beach when I was told it would be 3 . Open bar is not good unless you like rum as that was the only spirit available yet I was told different by rep

Der Ausflug war toll. Insel Saona sehenswert. Die Bootsfahrt hin und zurück, sowie der Zwischenstopp im Naturschwimmbad sehr schön. Leider wurde die Tour in englischer Sprache geführt, obwohl Sie als Deutschsprachig verkauft wurde.

Soweit alles perfekt. Ausser der Guide. Er wirkte lustlos und seine mehrsprachigen Ansagen (besser Anweisungen) waren kaum zu verstehen. Während der gesamten Tour hatte er Ohrhöher in Benutzung und hörte Musik. Am Ende verabschiedete er sich im Bus und beendete die Tour nicht mit seinen Gästen. Ansonsten aber wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis.

The trip was fantastic. Easy pick up and drop off at our hotel and the coslach was of a high quality. The boat staff on the catamaran and speed boat were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Only negative was our actual guide, he seemed distracted and disinterested in the trip. He gave minimal information and didn't seem like he really knew what was happening.

The all day Soana island experience had the right balance, to make up for the long journeys: comfortable air conditioned coach and entertaining boat trips on both the motor boat and catamaran with friendly staff, informative guide Bambi, drink, snacks and music. Our 3 hours spent on Soana island had the right balance of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, swim in the clear waters and a lunch that was enjoyable too. Larry & I would do this excursion again, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Wir fanden es schade das es so kurz war auf der Insel. Wir hetten gedacht das man mehr Zeit dort verbringen kann. Das Essen war sehr gut aber die zeit viel zu kurz wen mann dan auch noch mittagessen bekommt. Hete die Insel gerne länger besucht. Das Meer war so toll.

Loved the trip to Saona. Our team leader Castro was absolutely brilliant! He was informative and very witty. The guides in boat were helpful. We were plied with snacks and plentiful drinks all day. Food on Island was brilliant The boat operators were kind helpful. Nothing too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this trip. Such a beautiful island to visit.

Jonny the guide was amazing, made everyone feel welcome and involved everyone from start to finish. All the boat crews were brilliant engaging with all the customers. Walked off the boat at the end of the day full of rum! Only thing i would say that needs improvement is the food supplied but overall defiantly worth the money and would recommend anyone to go on the trip!

Star fish stop was most enjoyable with rum and coke and fruit kebabs in the ocean. The smell was pretty bad on saona beach of seaweed. The music was extremely loud on catamaran on way back. But day was very enjoyable. Would of liked to have seen more fish when snorkelling

Absolutely terrible, not worth the money, speed boats you got on were very uncomfortable, they came around with food , sandwiches were disgusting, the boat crew drank while driving the boat, the island they took us to was ok again the food was terrible, then the catamaran was shocking it was over crowded we sat on the floor with 2 kids all the way back, again the crew while drinking while driving the boat, Absolutely disappointed would definitely not recommend it ??

We didn’t like the service at Manchester airport. We paid for premium and still ended up in the normal waiting line for security as we had a pram. This slowed the morning down and ruined the initial experience for paying the extra. Everything else was amazing.

We went to the pickup point at the specified time of 6-45 am having sacrificed a night’s entertainment so as to get up at 5-45. We sat there waiting until 8am with other expecting guests. After contacting tui through the app we found out it had been cancelled. No communication from yourselves to us.

The staff on the buses,the boats and the beach were all fantastic, however, for the money paid for a 'supreme' experience I did not expect to be crammed into full to capacity buses or speed boat. The 'idyllic ' snorkeling spot was poor visibility and shallow with 4 or 5 boats worth of groups in the same spot just out of the harbour with an entire coastline to choose from. Unfortunately the pristine sand also contains alot of tourist rubbish from daily use.

An amazing day from start to finish. The tour guide was superb, Roberto looked after us and was very informative on the coach. Although it was a long ride it didn’t feel like it at all as he made it fun. The catamaran was amazing and the staff on the boat brought lots of drinks and breakfast snacks. We snorkel and then swam in the blue lagoon. We then arrived at the beach which was paradise. Crystal clear water., egg timer sand. We had an amazing lunch and more rum. We had an amazing day out.

I am not really a person that leaves reviews. This trip however was absolutely fantastic. The team were friendly, attentive and entertaining. The format of the day was superb. Aside from the inevitable coach journey from Punta Cana to Bayahibe, it was mind blowing. The trip to the island was on a speedboat.. Stopping for snorkeling then refreshments at a sandbank. The island itself is stunning. We spent a few hours just chilling. The return by catamaran was fantastic too. No hesitation, book it.

Die Hinreise mit Schnorcheln und Baden war bestens organisiert. Auch die Rückreise mit dem Katamaran war sehr gut. Etwas lange (1.5 Stunden) nach diesem sonnenreichen Tag, aber gut. Zu TUI selbst. Der Reiseleiter war schlecht. Kommunikation und Erklärungen waren keine vorhanden. Auf der Insel mit „Privatstrand“ ein Massenauflauf. Die Internet-Katalogbilder stimmen nicht mit der Wahrheit überein. Getränke ohne Alkohol mussten gesucht und erbettelt werden. Essen war so so - la la.

The tour guide needs to be sacked. Useless. Got to the boat and no passes to get on Sonoa so had to wait 30 mins. He had a habit of disappearing and when he boarded the boat he sat himself down and let women and children struggle up the boat steps. Half the time I had to act as tour guide as the other people in the group had no idea where we supposed to go because he had left.back at bayahibe he headed to the bus and left everyone. I had to go back and tell them where the bus was. Awful.

Zuerst mussten wir 1,5 Stunden am Hafen von Bayahibe auf den Guide warten, in 35 Grad Hitze, ohne Schatten, keine Getränke und die Abgase der Boote einatmen und dies mit unserer 5 jährigen Tochter! Danach Schnorcheln direkt im Hafen zwischen den Booten, katastrophal. Katamaran war alt, laute Musik und der Kapitän und Crew trank Rum und war sehr unanständig. 1,5 Stunden auf Katamaran ohne Schatten und nur Rum und Cola, etwas Käse und Chips. Saona mit weiteren 20 Booten erreicht, kein Privatstrand

Late customer pick up. Long coach drive including stop at Tui hq! Why? Long catamaran journey needs more liquid for 3hrs in hot sun. Not enough beds on island. I had an uncomfortable chair. Buffet poor and not enough chicken/meat. Toilets poor maintenance and cleanliness.

Johnny our guide was amazing ??! We loved the trip from start to finish ! A speedboat and a catamaran in one day ! The snorkelling was great loads of fish to see and the stop at the natural pool was breathtaking - snacks and drinks in the water too ! Saona island was beautiful ! Plenty of rum and dancing on the way back on the catamaran! Would recommend this trip to anyone ! We did the supreme trip on the TUI only part of the island and this was less busy and we had our own beach section!

Trip not what it's made out to be, pictures and write up are misleading. Not worth the money paid. Beach was full of bugs and sea was smelling like something was dead. Toilets on beach very dirty and smelled. Food wasn't very pleasant. Came back from this trip covered in ant bites from the beach. Not paradise has it was said to be.

The best part of this trip was the speedboat ride back, although I was sold this in the premise that it would be a catamaran ride home. Right from the start this trip was not what I was sold or expected as this was my 3rd trip to Saona. The trip itinerary changed within minutes of getting on the pick up coach. We were allocated the most rundown part of an overpopulated ‘private beach’. The food and service was terrible. You are ruining what is at heart a great experience, you need to review it

Our trip to Saona Island was an absolute beautiful. From start to finish, it was a fun and memorable experience for our family. The catamaran ride was amazing, and the crew truly made it special, so energetic, fun, and engaging. They kept the party going the entire ride with music, dancing, and great service. One of the coolest parts of the day was swimming and snorkeling in the natural pool, where we saw. The view is beautiful. Clear blue water, movie thing. Calm waves, not very full.

Le guide avait l'air très bien mais ne parlait pas 1 mot de français, nous n'avons donc rien compris de toute ces explications. Nous sommes tombés sur 1 catamaran littéralement merdique... très loin du catamaran que jai eu en 2011 lors de ma dernière visite a saona... Le buffet était vraiment banal loin d'une visite suprême.... Réellement déçu de cette journée

Food and drink were rationed on the island. We were served small portions from the bbq whilst the guides had plates piled high and they did not like us asking for more. Water was served in small cups and you were only given one at a time. It was extremely hot and we could have dehydrated. The guide and staff on boats were great, plenty to drink and snacks. Entertaining and lovely. The guide for the trip, slept, ate and slept again, not sure what his purpose was other than a large free meal.

Leuke tourgids en leuk personeel op de speedboot zowel de catamaran. Maakte de dag net een stukje gezelliger wat sfeer betreft. Tevens is het echt de moeite waard om de supreme te doen. Geeft je zoveel meer kans om van Saona te genieten, zonder dat het hele strand vol ligt. Dit was het hoogtepunt van onze vakantie.

We were rushed off the beach just to sit on a boat that didnt go anywhere for over an hour whilst we waited for a boat that wasnt broke. We paid extra for the "supreme" trip but got no extra benefits. We were told there would be no more than 30 people on the boat but we're crammed on a boat with over 90 people. We only stopped the snorkeling for 10 minutes. The rep fell asleep on the way back and only woke up to sing Whitney huston on a microphone whilst other boats played party music.

The tour was brilliant and we were looked after brilliantly by our guide. The day was clearly mapped out and the plans were communicated well. We loved the stop for snorkelling as well as the chance to chill on the shelf before moving on to the island. The beach itself was stunning and the water was so clear. We loved going in and out of the sea whilst enjoying a pina colada. The boat ride home on the catamaran was a real highlight. The staff kept us well fed and drinks flowed constantly.

De gehele tour was de moeite waard. Eiland is prachtig, gids is een leuke vrouw met humor. Wat ik minder vond is de broodjes die je op de heenweg kreeg. Het was standaard belegd met ham en kaas. Dat ham was varken, wij eten geen varkensvlees, dus geen broodjes voor ons. Verder was er op de catamaran weinig zitplaats. De volwassenen hielden absoluut geen rekening met kinderen en gingen gewoon zitten. Mijn kind moest dus staan of op de grond zitten.

Een toffe uitstap naar het idyllische eiland. Een hele toffe gids die iedereen mee op sleeptouw nam. Persoonlijk had ik ook nog andere bezienswaardigheden op het eiland willen zien ipv enkel de kustlijn.

The trip did not delivered what was promised. No private beach, no functioning toilet, no premium drinks, no steak or lobster, poor food. More than one group on catamaran and huge delay on boat back. Extremely disappointed and complaint lodged with rep at resort

De gids was een ramp! Die mens kon niet lachen, was dik tegen zijn zin! We hebben die haast niet gezien en was nog teveel als hij iets moest zeggen als je een vraag had. Personeel van de boten en op Saona zelf waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook de chauffeur die ons terug bracht naar het resort was top!

It was a very long day, but what an experience as our beach was full of seaweed! Mota family was the best and we loved everything - plenty of drinks and the food on the island was lovely! Staff on the catamaran could not do enough, from bringing snacks, topping drinks up and even getting us up dancing!

no sandwiches on the speed boat for vegetarians as only Cheese and Ham supplied. Also buffet lunch at the Island has limited choice for vegetarians yet offer meat, chicken and fish. It was a lovely experience, maybe slightly overpriced if you have a larger group.

The entire experience from start to finish was faultless. The Tui staff (Julie) were very helpful and explained the trip very clearly and the day went as planned. I would recommend this trip to anyone, it was very enjoyable for the entire family.

Gut gefallen hat uns das Schnorcheln, das Baden im Naturpool und der Aufenthalt auf der Insel Saona. Weniger gut fanden wir, das der Tourguide sowie die Mitarbeiter etwas zu hyperaktiv und aufdringlich waren (zb: Alkohol, laute Musik und zu viel sinnloses geredet).

Die Gruppen sollten sprachlich getrennt werden. Die Deutschkenntnisse des Tourguides waren schlecht und somit konnte er sich auch mehr um die spanisch und englisch sprachigen Gäste kümmern und informieren. Auf der Rückfahrt mit dem Katamaran konnten wir das Netz nicht als Liegefläche nutzen, weil es als Ablage für das Ankertau gebraucht wurde . Die Anzahl der Sitzplätze war somit zu gering.
