Meet your local guide for the day and board on small comfortable coach to depart to Pompeii, passing the beautiful towns along the Amalfi drive. Great
Alessandra was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We were happy to eat lunch at the suggested venue however not happy at being told ‘paying by card was a problem’. We had very little cash with us because we had assumed that being in a first world country in the EU meant card payment in a hotel venue would be a given. Equally on the Vesuvius part of the trip, having used our little paper money for lunch meant we couldn’t buy water because the vendors only accepted cash
