What to expect
Dr Doolittle eat your heart out – Palmitos Park has more birds, fish and creatures than you could ever chat to. Set at the top of volcanic canyon near Maspalomas, this brilliant wildlife park boasts a roll call of residents that will impress your whole family, large and small. You'll see dolphins leaping, toucans tapping on fruit husks and Komodo dragons basking on boulders. Just follow the footpaths through the palms, rocks and cacti and you'll find them – all living in replica natural habitats or large enclosures.Highlights include the free-flying bird shows, where you can see eagles perform their amazing aerial acrobatics and watch colourful parrots and macaws as they walk tightropes and play funny tricks. But the real stars are the dolphins - a sight to behold.

Overall a great day out for families, only disappointing part was the dolphin experience grandson enjoyed it but we were left a little disappointed after paying €150 and I wasn’t even able to see anything as he was out of sight behind a large rock so I didn’t get to see expressions on his face when we booked slot time we were told he would be swimming with the dolphins but that didn’t happen

The zoo is fantastic and the birds and dolphin shows are great. Food and drink is a bit expensive but that is to be expected at any attraction like this. I think it would be a great option if you could buy a two in one pass for this and the aqua park as it a so close to the zoo and you can get these via the zoo and offsite excursion operators. Regardless it’s a great day out.

Using the TUI app to purchase tickets was so easy On arrival we was greeted by a very polite lady that explained the park plus the show times . Park was very clean and the animals seemed very happy and lovely to see such beautiful animals. We did have some food and we was served quickly politely and the food was lovely too 5??

The bird & dolphin shows were absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend them. The only thing I didn't like, and this is purely because I am petrified of them, is to get out of the park you have to walk past all the tanks with snakes in. They also do not warn you that there are snakes in the orchid house too.

100% recommend 2 adults and 2 children (7 and 4) perfect quite oasis beautiful gardens and animals all in pristine habitats. Staff very lovely and welcoming. Shows included in the price - best bird of prey show I've seen in a stunning landscape, dolphin show was also amazing kids loved it!

Beautiful park and very well kept. The animals are beautiful. Our three year old had “the best day ever” and especially loved the bird enclosure. Make sure you have lots of €1 coins as you need these for the food in the machines

The full experience was amazing, we didn’t have any bad experiences. We went at our own pace, we didn’t feel rushed. The staff at the park are extremely friendly. Photo opportunities with parrots are amazing as one of the staff make them pose. The birds of prey show is fantastic, the handler was very engaging with the spectators, we would highly recommend to go watch it. Afterwards there is a photo opportunity with either an eagle owl or a bald eagle. Also the dolphin show was fantastic.

This was the most fantastic day out I have ever experienced. The park really cares for the animals and tried to keep them in a natural environment as much as they could. The birds of prey show was something else, absolutely fantastic and watching eagles and macaws fly through the mountains like they would do in the wild is just spectacular. Best day out for all ages.

We loved palmitos park especially the dolphin show. We’re lots of things to do and was worth the money. The only downside was a shame there wasn’t transfers as had to get a taxi which was expensive and didn’t have the size taxi to accommodate us for ages so had to wait in the hot sun for one.

This was absolutely amazing! The shows are perfectly timed so you have enough time to walk to the next. The shows were captivating and exciting for our whole family! Definitely a must see! There are drink and food stops throughout the park! Great experience, well worth the money!

We spent a lovely 4. 5hrs at Palmito park. We enjoyed seeing all the animals, highlights included the dolphin and bird shows and getting to hold a parrot. Was well shaded and also beautiful scenery. More info on bus availability would be good as a taxi was 30euros from san augstin, Palmitos has bus info so returned this way. Also a shame children over 11yrs are classed as adults for tikets. Overall a wonderful day x

Great experience overall. Great day out for all the family adults and children. We purchased the dolphin experience which was €95 for 30 minutes with the dolphins learning how to command them to do their tricks and included a photo. You can get just a photo with them during the show for €25-€35. The shows are well worth it, the kids loved the birds flying over their heads and so on. The only down fall is the price of food and drinks here, its best to bring your own as there is a picnic area.

Really great park, superb range of animals. Two year old loved it! We went in May - nice and cool throughout, make sure you have a hat and sun cream for the raptor show though - you're fully exposed to the sun with no shade. Food kiosk expensive so hold out for the restaurant before the aquarium and dolphin show or bring food.

I would advise people to take their own food and use the picnic area. Food and drink here isnt the greatest quality and is extremely over priced Also take a coat or hoodie if visiting in Feb. It is set quite high up and it was very cold when we visited even though it was hot in the resort where we were staying Apart from the above the park is a great attraction. The dolphin show and the birds of prey show were fantastic. The whole park is clean and all the animals seemed happy and well care

An amazing experience for the whole family - the dolphins’ and exotic birds’ show is truly unforgettable experience. The park is a real treat for animal lovers and we would definitely recommend visiting. The park is nicely shaded in most areas, only exotic birds’ show was in the open space in the full sun, which can be too hot for some people and children but there’s a shaded space next to the main show where you can sit and still watch the show, which was helpful.

Really enjoyed, plenty to see and does take all day to get round, definitely good for the whole family. The only real thing was that non of the bars or restaurants opened much before 12, so take plenty of drinks and snacks so you can eat as you go round. Offers shows all day with dolphins and falcons and exotic birds. Definitely worth a visit!

Julia (polish girl) was amazing and the danish girl (didn’t catch her name) always gave 110%. The rest of the staff easily forgettable. All Inclusive should be rebranded to ‘majority inclusive’ as it turns out quite a few things aren’t inclusive (certain drinks, smoothies, places to eat). Food choice and quality equally awful and poor. Pancakes burnt every. Single. Day. Flies always on the deserts. Sun lounges have towels on all day but used 15% of the time only - despite your “rule”

Taking exchange rate into account the TUI price at GBP was slightly more expensive than buying ‘at the gate’ but with the small discount offered did make it more cost effective. This was an e-ticket only excursion organised by ourselves with travel using a local bus and so no service and no guide offered by TUI Overall the only ‘service’ on offer was to buy an e- ticket!!

A beautiful place to visit, albeit lots of hills to walk up but because the views are beautiful it is worth it, I am a big girl and not a fan of walking up hills but I found it not to bad.

Det fanns inte så många djur att titta på. Vore bättre att kalla det för en fågelpark istället. Delfinshowen var däremot underbar och att man fick klappa delfinerna. Det fanns inte tillräckligt med platser på restaurangen för alla gäster. Personalen var förvirrad och gav oss fel mat två ggr. Så vi missade en del av delfinshowen. Burarna och utrymmet för djuren i parken är för litet. De behöver större ytor.

Great location. Set in the mountains. Park is very well presented. You won’t see a huge selection of animals but the enclosures are well presented and you can also walk inside some of them. The live shows are a must! The bird show abs dolphin show were fantastic and exceeded expectations.

The park is very well laid out and is a lush tropical paradise which is a welcome change to the desert sands of coastal Gran Canaria Highlight is the amazing birds of prey display with three American eagles , vultures and hawks flying free in the mountainous landscape The comical gibbons and the beautiful dolphins as well as the cacti garden all make it a memorable day

Park it self was good but the restaurant was shocking. We waited 45mins for a table then when sitting down we waited another half an hour without being served before we left. Seemed to be happening with lots of people. Quite bad when there is no where else to eat and it’s your only option.

Enjoyable and fun day out. Timings on the shows seem unusual as it seemed impossible to get to them all due to the locations and logistics of getting kids around quick enough so we only ended up watching the dolphins. Also, food outlets only open at strange times, I'm assuming due to lack of staff.
