What to expect
If your idea of a perfect day is to simply unwind, then this adults-only cruise on a traditional gulet boat is for you. With plenty of time to swim and sunbathe, it's the definition of a relaxing day on the waves. Haluk, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Gulets are wooden schooners that have been used for fishing and sponging around the Mediterranean since ancient times. But since the 1970s, they've become a popular way to show holidaymakers around the bays of the Aegean coast.'We'll set sail from Marmaris on one of these handsome wooden yachts, searching for the secret stretches of coast only accessible by boat. Sun, sea, swimming and snoozing are the order of the day on this gulet cruise. There's ample time to swim and snorkel – with at least four stops – as your captain drops anchor in the many hidden bays along this crinkle-cut coastline. Between stops, sit back and admire the view of this impressive, wild and green shore gliding by. Haluk says, ‘The coast and headlands to the east of Marmaris town are a national park, so look out for wildlife.'What's more, with a maximum of just 35 guests, you're guaranteed a sunlounger to soak up the sun. Your crew will serve your freshly prepared lunch of local specialities on board. There's tea, coffee and soft drinks included all day, while a bar service is available for any other drinks you might fancy. With a strict no-music policy on board, nothing will disturb your enjoyment of this fabulous day out.

Wendy the rep was great, very friendly and made everyone feel at ease. Crew were great and lunch was nice, would have preferred cans of drink rather than it being poured from big bottles.

Excellent day out, food was lovely and seating was comfortable. Docked one point as water was the only still free drink available and we don't drink fizzy drinks. Although cola & sprite fizzy available free, all others payable but prices not too bad. Would certainly go again, staff were all lovely and our guide was great fun. Very relaxing.

It was lovely and quiet, unlike some of the other boats. Really enjoyed getting off the boat, and swimming in the sea. The crew were lovely, kept us supplied with drinks and icecreams etc. Very curteous and helpful. Rep was lovely too. Lunch was nice, plenty to eat.

We were disappointed that there was in excess of 25 guests, if you advertise the trip is limited in numbers then you should stick to it, it doesn’t matter if it’s only 2-3 extra. It didn’t make to much difference as there was plenty of space on the boat, but with regard to numbers of guests didn’t provide me with the trip I booked . Your rep Wendy was excellent, she’s exactly the right person to represent TUI on a trip like this The food was very good for lunch. The lunch stop was far too long

Small group, peaceful, plenty of personal space. Lunch was nice. Wendy and other staff were brilliant and engaging. Things that could be improved. Transfer was ridiculous, 1 hour on 2 coaches to go on a 12 minute journey. Transfer back was a shambles too. Food and drink on boat, at least give chips with lunch, no alcoholic drinks free at all? It’s adults only! Variety of refreshment was poor on the free side.

The general condition and quality of the boat used for the experience was excellent, areas for those who Wished to sunbathe Versus those who prefer to stay in the shade was great. The food provided was flavourful but I would describe as basic additional options such as shrimp were available but at additional cost. During our tour, there was a minor issue with the ladies toilet, It was not possible to flush, This was repaired during the experience but was initially unpleasant.

Fantastic from start to finish. Wendy, the guide was very personable as boat staff friendly. Photographer on board was lovely and not too pushy which was a welcome surprise. Boat trip was fantastic, beautiful sights to see and great swim stops. Stop at little village great and shops there again weren’t pushy. I’m not a strong swimmer so Wendy and the boat staff got me a life jacket so I could swim in the sea with the other guests. Highly recommend this trip and would do again.

Great value for money boat trip a good choice of food for lunch & a nice afternoon tea/coffee & cake all the staff were great,very friendly & professional. The only negative point I have was could have done with a handrail on the ladders when getting on/off boat at the swim stops.

Enjoyed very much. Space on board for max 39, 14 loungers on top in sun, 19 below in shade, and area at back that could take 6 or 8. Certainly didn't feel crowded. 4 unhurried swim stops, 45 mins in Turunc. Fantastic lunch, with nice salad, rice and choice of grilled chicken, fish, beef kofta or vegetarian, and cooked to perfection. Free soft drinks as advertised. More expensive than locally sourced excursions, but felt more luxurious, and our pickup was long, felt worth it. Towels were to keep.

Great boat and very friendly and attentive crew. Relaxed atmosphere and good amount of stops providing opportunity to swim. The lunch was the real highlight. Delicious and authentic homemade Turkish meals freshly prepared on board. Far better than anything I’ve experienced on other excursions.

We enjoyed the boat trip very much, our only two criticisms: 1. From talking with other people on the boat trip we found out we paid approximately £10 more per person by booking early and through the app, early bookers should be rewarded not punished. 2. The boat trip description said the trip was capped at 25 people, where as there was approx 33 people on our trip.

This was the highlight of our holiday. The boat was beautiful and had plenty of space, Wendy was so knowledgable and welcoming. Lunch was lovely, and we even receive a free tui towel. Plenty of time at each swim stop and swimming aids provided. Throughly recommend The only suggestion (not a criticism) would be it snorkels or goggles could be provided for the swim stops. 5/5

Very enjoyable trip with friendly staff, free soft drinks and tea/coffee with lunch included plus cakes and tea in the afternoon. All in all great value for money. Thanks to all the boat staff and Wendy the TUI rep on board for making the trip so enjoyably.

We loved the whole day. Wendy was excellent as were the crew. Such a relaxed atmosphere. So glad it wasn’t a party boat. Lunch was very good. Particularly enjoyed tea and cake after a swim. Would do this excursion again and again. People at the hotel were envious of our TUI towels. The photographs were good value.

The whole day went very smoothly, tour guide and staff were all lovely. Great value for money with your unlimited soft drinks and your lunch included. Lunch was also very tasty and you were given at least 3/4 options. Swim stop locations were all beautiful aswell. Not much I would change, we had a great time and would recommend this trip to anyone:)

We thoroughly enjoyed this boat trip. The boat and crew including the lovely Wendy were absolutely fabulous. The crew were kind and courteous, and went out of their way to make sure everyone had an amazing experience throughout. The food was delicious considering it was prepared as we were cruising along. Lots of opportunities to test relax swim sun bathe or just chill looking at the stunning coastline and boats on the water. We would have no hesitation in recommending this trip! Just do it! Xx

Great day sailing ,dropping anchor a few times to swim / snorkel with a little stop at Turunc to have some free time ashore. The crew, Wendy (rep) were great, Yonder the photographer was fantastic took loads of great snaps and sold them all at a very reasonable price. Tea, Coffee & soft drinks all included, lunch was decent inc a vegetarian option (omelette I had) with little cakes of the way back. Towels were provided which we got to keep. Overall a relaxing day and highly recommended

The food was amazing - 4 choices of lunch and the service from the staff in the boat was impeccable. Beautiful locations and plenty of chances to get off explore and swim. Plenty of sun beds and towels are provided which you can keep at the end. The TUI rep was excellent. Ice cream and alcohol was extra and cash only but very cheap and a decent variety. Brilliant value for money and really enjoyed it.

Beautiful boat trip but unfortunately it isn't very clear what is and isn't included. We were offered icecream (only 50lr each) but we weren't told about the additional cost of this. It was only brought to our attention when we were put on a list. Same with the "beer" we were asked "does anybody want beer with their lunch" no additional cost mentioned. No it won't break the bank but you call it an all inclusive boat trip when actually it's not really.

I can’t recommend this trip enough. Wendy the guide for the day was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The boat and crew were fantastic, lunch was really nice and all freshly cooked on board. Plenty of room to move about with only 25 people. The scenery is beautiful and the places chosen for the swimming stops are perfect. If you don’t go on this trip your really missing out, great value 10/10

I can't recommend this boat trip enough, really peaceful and only 25 adults allowed so there is plenty of space on the beautiful boat. Lunch is amazing and the 4 swim stops are fantastic, such clear water and great for snorkelling. Such good value for money, I have been on this trip twice now!

Our tour guide September was very good, nothing was too much trouble for her, the crew on the boat were very good and efficient, the swimming stops were good and food was good. I personally didn't like the stop in Turunc but I don't like shopping, otherwise a very nice day.

This is a fantastic day out in a small group. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make the day a pleasure and the grub was great too. Would have preferred the boat to come to us as it used too. The road to town is hot, dusty and very bumby! But still not a day to miss!

We had a great day out on the boat trip. People were really friendly so there was a great atmosphere. Only down side is that we were staying in Turunc so long journey to get to the ship in Marmaris and we were a bit disappointed to find out the ships 1st stop over for 1hr was Turunc!! If you are staying in Turunc get a local trip from the harbour.

We really enjoyed this experience, it was absolutely relaxing. I would have liked to have the plan at the beginning of the day with timings and to be clarified if possible but communication was good. Food lovely. Only downside is there was not enough shaded areas/options on the boat.

The whole trip was amazing, better than we hoped for. Our guide was brilliant and everyone spoke great English. The views were stunning and jumping off the boat in the sea was an experience. The only downfall was we were told they only accepted cash on board.
