Perfect to visit alone, with friends or family, get up close with some of Australia's best native wildlife in this park.Enjoy access to the wildlife displays and natural areas, wildlife presentations, various self-guided walks, a boat ride on Hartley’s Lagoon where you can see crocodiles in their natural environment. The various self-guided walks include the Cassowary Walk, where you can see beautiful colorful birds that date back millions of years. You can also explore the Wildlife Discovery Trail to see freshwater crocs, water birds, lizards and enter the tropical walk-through bird aviary.

What to remember

The park is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm every day, except Christmas Day and one day in June due to the closure of the Captain Cook Highway for Cairns Iron Man event
ANZAC Day trading may be restricted, subject to state government approval
