Explore some of Madeira's most remote places on a guided hike along the Levada da Serra de São Jorge and Levada do Caldeirão Verde. Follow your expert guide through Queimadas Park and enjoy magnificent views of picturesque villages immersed in lush vegetation.Walk through small tunnels along the Caldeirão Verde trail until you reach a magnificent waterfall. After a picnic lunch in this emerald green paradise, you will head back towards the village of Santana, passing through green pastures where cows graze blissfully.

Prachtige wandeling die evenwel 'geteisterde werd door slecht weer (regen); ook wellicht hierdoor verloor de gids gaandeweg haar gedrevenheid die in het begin nochtans veelbelovend was. Voor de rest prima organisatie en zeer gewaardeerde gids.
