What to expect
Fancy a trip to the serene Cíes Islands, known for both its fauna, flora and white sand beaches? You'll start your journey at the Maritime Station, where a two-deck catamaran awaits to whisk you away on a brief voyage to this mesmerising archipelago, one of Spain's most extraordinary natural parks. The archipelago comprises three islands, each offering a selection of four hiking trails. These paths lead you to various lighthouses, beaches and viewpoints, from which you can admire the rich ecology and arguably one of Europe's finest bays.Your ferry will dock at Monteagudo Island (also known as North Island), which is connected to Faro Island (or Middle Island) by a breakwater or Rodas beach - a titleholder of The Guardian's 'best beach in the world'. Once you've set foot on the island, depending on the season, an informative guided tour may be included, or you might prefer to discover the splendour of the Maritime-Terrestrial Atlantic Islands National Park at your own pace.Whether you choose to take a dip in the crystal clear waters, lose yourself in the cries of the seagulls or simply savour a refreshing drink under the sun, it's entirely up to you!

What to remember
Accessibility:
Due to uneven and steep surfaces, this activity may have segments of the trails that may not be suitable for wheelchair users or people with difficulty walking
Wheelchair users are asked to inform the ferry company in order to assist when boarding and disembarking
Not allowed:
Pets are not allowed due to National Park policy
Know in advance:
When booking, you must provide an ID number (e.g, passport, ID card, driving licence), date of birth and full name of all travelling passengers for the National Park authorisations
Adults ages (13-99) must provide their ID number in the 'Additional comments' field when booking
Children under 13 do not require an ID number
The National Park authorisations will be requested through the ferry company
Being a National Park, you must follow any and all rules indicated to you and available on the National Park’s website
A licensed guide will be included from the 16th of September to the 14th of May
From the 15th of May to the 15th of September, you can explore the Island on your own without a guide, following all rules regarding restricted access areas
