What to expect
The View from The Shard takes you on a multi-sensory journey 244 meters (800 feet) above London on the tallest building in Western Europe. Your trip will include:
- Four separate lifts through different exhibition levels
- Two bars for you to have a drink, coffee, or tea while enjoying The View
- Level 72 outdoor viewing gallery for the sounds and atmosphere of the city below
- Free wi-fi to share pictures, thoughts, and views with your friends all over the world
- In summertime relax in the Summer Garden, the highest garden in London
You can upgrade your visit with the general entry ticket to include a glass of Moet champagne.

What to remember
Handheld cameras for personal use are allowed
Large bags, tripods, rucksacks, and other large equipment are not allowed and there is no storeroom available (the nearest baggage storage company is located at Waterloo station)
There is no cloakroom facility for bags, however, folded pushchairs can be left in the designated area in the booking hall for free at your own risk (bags and coats cannot be left with them)
The glass of champagne is only available for those aged 18 and above
Infants aged 0 to 2 years do not need a ticket and can enter for free
VIEW GUARANTEE: You’ll be walking on air amongst the clouds, but if they spoil your view, you can return for free with the View Guarantee. In the case of bad weather, all guests are offered a View Guarantee with every ticket. If you cannot see at least three of the following five landmarks - The London Eye, 20 Fenchurch Street, Tower Bridge, One Canada Square, or St Paul's Cathedral - on the day of your visit, you can return within 3 months for free. Staff at the ticket desk will let you know on the day if the Visibility Guarantee has been authorized and will arrange your return ticket.

du coup un des bars était fermé, mais à faire quand même.
Les serveurs et le personnel sont vraiment à l’écoute et très sympa! Jacob notamment!

Michael und Mattew waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Haben uns sehr gut beraten und uns noch auf einige gute Ausblicke aufmerksam gemacht. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam ubd sehr höflich freundlich.

We had a wonderful experience visiting The Shard. The Staff were absolutely lovely; very attentive; caring, and always with a smile. The young lady who waited on us was so lovely and waited patiently while myself and my Sister were perusing the menu. She had a philapino surname. Thank you so much!!!

When we got to The Shard we had to pay extra money for the champagne the ticket never said that the champagne was not going to be included. Among other things that we had to decline. other than that, everything else was beautiful.

bellissima esperienza, consigliatissima, vista fantastica a 360 gradi, pochissima coda con la prenotazione, nessun sovraffolamento ne limiti di tempo per la visita, personale di servizio sorridente e disponibile, shop carino con simpatici souvenirs (su tutti la volpe romeo...). Da fare!

Era la prima volta che visitavo un grattacielo, sono rimasto molto colpito innanzitutto dalla fila inesistente, ero da solo nell’ ascensore che è stato velocissimo a raggiungere il 68° piano! La vista è davvero incredibile, mentre lo staff è molto disponibile e i baristi erano davvero bravissimi!

Nonostante si acquisti un biglietto per un determinato orario, bisogna fare la fila e aspettare (al freddo) a lungo. Il ragazzo dell’accoglienza aveva indicato mediamente 15-20 minuti di coda, nel nostro caso sono stati più di 40 minuti.
In ogni caso la vista è molto bella.

Per il costo del biglietto mi aspettavo molto meglio. Non fatevi ingannare dalla scritta “biglietto salta fila”. Non si salta proprio nulla. Il fast track è disponibile solo per chi acquista il biglietto direttamente tramite The Shard. Almeno questo è quello che ci è stato detto dagli addetti!

Großartiges Erlebnis über den Dächern Londons den Sonnenuntergang zu erleben(diese Uhrzeit natürlich vorher je nach Jahrestag ermitteln). Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend schön!

Vedere Londra da uno dei suoi più iconici edifici è stata davvero una bellissima esperienza. Emozionante la salita (velocissima) in ascensore e la vista spettacolare a 360 gradi che si gode dall'ultimo livello (dove, le aperture nelle vetrate, consentono di sentire il rumore del vento). TOP :-)

Purchasing and redeeming the tickets was very easy. When I got to the top I was very let down. I went at night and couldn’t see much and couldn’t take pics because all I saw was my own reflection. I guess this is a place you should go during the day.

Grandioser Aufenthalt oben, aber sehr teure Getränke, da der Preis zum Hochfahren schon sehr hoch ist. Können sich nicht viele leisten. Was ist mit Familien? Und es ist schon schön die Aussicht mit einem Getränk zu geniessen.
