Experience a great half-day trip to the famous and historic Eagles nest. After leaving Salzburg you will enjoy a scenic drive through the Bavarian Alps which will bring you directly to the bottom of the Eagles Nest (Obersalzberg). From there a bus will take you on a most spectacular 6.5 km long road with a 22 percent gradient up to the Eagle's Nest, to an altitude of 1.820 meters. The top of the mountain is reachable by foot or with a fascinating golden brass elevator taking you in only 41 seconds another 124 meters up into the residence building itself....

Excellent
Instructions were a bit vague on getting down to the coach park. Did we need to take a specific bus or could we use any? Guide was superb. Informative and amusing. Trip well organised.

Great
Enjoyed: Interesting and fun commentary from the guide. Good views. Not so good: We saw the lake Konig See from a distance but didn't get to stop near it. Overall quite pricey and quite a tight schedule.

Der Reiseleiter Thomas aus Salzburg war super nett . Mit dem Wetter hatten wir viel Glück und zum Glück war es eine kleinere Gruppe. Hat alles gut geklappt. Individuell kann man sich das Ganze aber auch sehr gut allein anschauen. War aber ein sehr schöner Tag.
