You're in with a change of seeing night-time eruptions at Stromboli
What to expect
The Aeolian Islands are a collection of seven volcanic beauties, so impressive they've bagged a place on the UNESCO-list. On this island-hopping tour, you'll take in three of the best. Stop by the largest, Lipari, home to historical sites like Lipari Castle and its archaeological museum. Potter around well-preened Panarea, whose pretty streets are lined with whitewashed houses. Then, dock in Stromboli. You can dip into a few eateries or grab a drink as the sun sets before hopping back on the boat to see its volcanic crater and, with luck, the magical Sciara del Fuoco lava flows that light...

Visit to Panarea was nice but more info about where to go would be useful. Very long trip make it clear its 12 hours not 8 When you book on app not clear about duration

Great
Maps showing how to get around Panarea and Stromboli would have been very helpful, especially Panarea. It felt like we had been dumped in Panarea with no clue as to how to get about. Swilling opportunities we were told were 30 minutes walk or a 10 minute taxi with jo clue as to how to do either, or if it was guaranteed we could get a taxi back in time to catch the boat. Walking through the town was awful with no routes and diving with death on the very narrrow paths with vehicles hurtling down.

In the description it said 8hrs, with the coveat that timings are not strict. BUT, we were out 15 hours in total, which isn't a little either way, but nearly double. Rediculous and rather mis-selling.

The guide hardly spoke English so didn’t she bother trying to repeat whatever description she was saying in English. On panarear she didn’t advise which way to go and the time on that island was too long. The trip was 20 to 25 minutes late setting off from the resort. On getting back into Tropea we were told the coach would be outside in the place where we got off it. It wasn’t. People were a bit confused as to whether to stay there and wait or go back into the port until the guide eventually arrived to let us know. The day was too long. Although it said full day it also said 8 hours. It was much longer. Enjoyed seeing dolphins swimming next to the boat.

This trip did not include Limpari as advertised, it only included the other 2 destinations. There was no explanation as to why.
