The Natural History Museum is housed in the Fontego dei Turchi, and hosts various local scientific collections, from the Museo Correr, from the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere e Arti and others.Thanks to the donations and acquisitions during the years, the museum has been enriched with numerous and varied collections that span 700 million years.There it is possible to admire zoological, entomological and botanical collections, fossils and anatomic preparations, as well as ethnographic collections and a library with over 40 thousand volumes.
