Go on an exciting journey and experience the history of immigration and emigration over four different periods in the emigration museum BallinStadt Hamburg. In a total of three houses on 2,500 square meters, you will accompany people with all their wishes and dreams on their way to a new home. Please note that the majority of the texts in the exhibition are in German. Visitors are welcome to take hard copies in English, French, and Polish free of charge at the front desk
The audio stations at the exhibition are in German and English
Animals are not permitted in the exhibition rooms
Infants (age 0-4) are free of charge and don´t need a ticket
Please use the ticket option "reduced" for schoolchildren, students, trainees, pensioners, the severely disabled, and the unemployed
Opening times of the museum: Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (last visit 3:30 p.m.)

Excellent
The museum is well set up but needs to do multilingual signs. They have plenty ofvtime to do.more than a paper copy. There was no translation, even on paper for the temporary exhibition. The restaurant food was good. As was the shop. Everyone should come here once.
