What to expect
Leave Kraków for a day to visit the historic monuments Auschwitz and Birkenau. Auschwitz was one of the largest concentration camps built by the Nazis during the Second World War. The remains of the camps are now listed as UNESCO World Heritage and form the most important memorials of the Holocaust to act as proof of the terrors that took place during the war.From the centre of Kraków, an English-speaking driver will take you to the town of Oświęcim where the museums are located. Meanwhile, you can prepare yourself for the visit by watching a documentary that informs you about the museums and the history. Upon arrival, you can freely walk around Auschwitz for two hours with the help of a booklet available in 19 languages. It will provide you with all the background information you need. The driver will then take you to the second camp Auschwitz-Birkenau where you can spend at least 1.5 hours before travelling back to the centre of Kraków.

What to remember
It is necessary to provide the name and surname of each guest during the booking process. A lack of data will make it impossible to enter the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial

Organisation très compliquée, attente pendant des heures avant de pouvoir entrer à Auschwitz tellement il y avait de monde, visite accélérée, baclée
L’accompagnateur était dépassé par les événements, et le chauffeur conduisait très vite.

Dommage qu’on ait répondu à ma demande trop tard car mon logement était à 4km de la visite et j’ai dû retourné à Cracovie donc 1:30 pour refaire 1:30 le matin et le soir le chauffeur était bien sauf qu’il nous a pas déposé au même arrêt de bus: 1,5km de la voiture

Chauffeur was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook ht aanbod van bijkomende museum owv de lange wachttijd vr Auschwitz was ????. Werkpuntje: zijn Engels … hij sprak zeer snel en met weinig articulatie = pools/engels .= moeilijk verstaanbaar. Ook de gids v Auschwitz zelf had dit probleem. Te snel praten en onduidelijke articulatie v de woorden.

The guided tour was excellent and worth every penny.
The issue was that we booked to leave at 10.00am but received a message the day before to say our coach was now leaving at 8.00am. When we arrived we were given our tickets and told that our guided tour would be at 1.30pm which meant a 3 hour wait

Nous avions peur en lisant les expériences des différentes compagnies mais au final tout s'est bien déroulé. On a été pris en charge à l'heure dite et au lieu dit. Le chauffeur nous a accompagné tout au long du voyage et était sympathique. Comptez quand même 3h dans chaque camp.

Die Sicherheitsmaßnahmen ähneln einem Flughafen. Aus diesem Grunde haben wir länger in der Warteschlange als im KZ Auschwitz verbracht. Obwohl wir Online Tickets hatten, haben wir ewig gebraucht um uns auszuweisen. Ohne Guide oder Führung sollte man die Tour nicht anbieten. Einen ganzen Tag für einige wenige Stunden im KZ- enttäuschend.

We boekten een tour om 12u. De dag ervoor kregen we om 20u bericht dat deze verplaatst werd naar 08:20. In Auschwitz 3u moeten aanschuiven om ons gratis ticket af te halen, Birkenau bezocht en nog eens 1,5u moeten aanschuiven in Auschwitz om dan te horen dat we pas een tijdslot hadden van 17:15 en nog eens moesten wachten. Gids sprak geen Engels, communiceerde niet, ook niet met Google Translate. Je kan beter een fast track ticket betalen met gids en zelf vervoer voorzien!

Het is de moeite om te doen. Maar we vonden de tijd die we kregen (1uur en 20 min)om Auschwitz te bezichtigen veel te kort. We hebben alles niet kunnen zien. De tijd in Birkenau was ook heel krap (2uurs) je moet alles in snel tempo doen. Heel veel tijd verloren met het aanschuiven voor de tickets en ingang Auschwitz. (Ongeveer 3 uurs) heel jammer!

Te laat vertrokken, 1st nr Auschwitz tickets ophalen (hal uur in de rij), met de bus nr Birkenau (iets meer dan uur de tijd, maar van de bus naar het kamp en terug was al 20m lopen, dus minder dan uur over), hierna met de bus terug nr Auschwitz (wederom in de rij). We kregen een boekje waar alle blz los en door elkaar lagen en 1.45m de tijd wat veel en veel te weinig is! Jammer!

Es war soweit in Ordnung. Der Transfer war pünktlich. Die Reiseleiterin hat uns gut informiert.
Leider hatten wir zu wenig Zeit. In Auschwitz 1 nur gute 2 Stunden und in Auschwitz 2 nur 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten. Dadurch konnten wir uns nicht alles ansehen.

Fuimos 5 y para haberlo cogido a última hora fue bien. Nos hubiera gustado alguna opción para poder acceder al tour desde nuestro vehículo, para no tener que aparcar en Cracovia. Creemos que sería buena idea visitar primero el primer campo y luego el segundo. Fue muy bien.

we moesten 37 min.wachten in de bus op vertrek zonder enige uitleg. tijdens en na.Ik zag dat er te weinig plek was in de bus en er een 2de werd gevraagd?Want na 35´ min.stapten er mensen in het busje dat kwam aangereden op aanraden van onze begeleider.De doc.in de bus kregen we niet te zien.

Goed georganiseerd. Bus was op tijd op de afgesproken locatie. Vanuit de bus kregen we een NL talig gidsje mee en konden we op eigen gelegenheid alles zelf bekijken. Miste een persoonlijke gids niet. Nadat we onze tickets hadden opgehaald bij kamp Auschwitz 1 werden we afgezet bij Auschwitz-Birkenau. Na dit bezoek naar Auschwitz 1 waar we weer alle tijd kregen om alles te bekijken.

Driver picked us up at the agreed time (1pm) across from the Mercure Hotel and kept us informed throughout the trip. It felt a bit rushed at times but it was a good experience. We had to hand back the guide books after the visit which we hadn’t expected. We didn’t get back to Krakow till almost 8pm

( 2h au musée sont extrêmement courte)
Et 1h30 a Auschwitz 1 est très court pour voir calmement les bâtiments

Looked after well by our guide and good tour. Only down side was size of minibus - too small for the amount of people on the minibus, very cramped on the drive. Also not signposed well in Krakow as to where the bus would pick us up from - lots of people were confused about the pick up point.

Très bien organisé, nous avions juste à suivre le mouvement !
Le lieu pour le départ est facile à trouver et les transports sont à côté.
Nous aurions juste aimé avoir 30min de plus dans chaque camps pour avoir le temps de tout lire et regarder.
Je recommande vraiment cette expérience !
