Audio-guided driving tour to Arches and Canyonlands National Park
Validity:
Flexible
Do this because
- Drive through Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
- Admire the unique landmarks the parks have to offer
- Learn about the geological forces that create the rock formations
What to expect
Though Arches and Canyonlands National Parks only have a valley between them, they are remarkably different, and worth a visit.
The tour will take you to discovery all the not to be missed features of Arches National Park like Double Arch and Landscape Arch. The audio-commentary will guide you with explanations of the complex geological forces required to create these rock formations.
Canyonlands National Park will offer a vastly different experience. Starting in Moab, you will travel to the Island in the Sky District, continuing along the Grand View Point Road. Along the way you will have the chance to examine completely different landmarks than the ones in Arches, like Upheaval Dome, and the different theories behind Utah’s “belly button”. If you are fitted and like to walk you should hike the Aztec Butte Trail to view ancestral Puebloan structures called granaries, but Canyonlands offers also options for those with limited mobility, many easily accessible scenic viewpoints are available.
Drive through the rock formations and discover stories about the area.
