What to expect
Once you are picked up from the meeting point in the city center, you'll begin your 25-minute journey to the reindeer camp.On your arrival, you have the opportunity to test lasso throwing before you head on the real adventure, a reindeer sled ride!The sled ride is around 25 minutes as they guide you around the valley and along the coast. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to feed 300 of the magnificent reindeer.Finish the day by relaxing in a "gamme" (traditional Sami hut) while enjoying a traditional hot meal cooked over a fire. After eating you'll have the chance to listen to Sami history, stories and "joiking" (traditional folk songs).

Meeting point:
Meet your guides 20 minutes before tour start time at the bus terminal at Tromsø Havn Prostneset. There are two entrances. One is by the buses and one is between the Terminal and the Clarion Edge. The guides will wait for you by the buses ready to depart to camp. If you go to the wrong entrance, walk through the terminal to the other entrance and you will find the guides there. The guides will be wearing blue jackets with the logo 'Tromso Arctic Reindeer' on them.
