I loved every minute of it the guide at the back with me was fantastic he held me back from the others on the beach 2 times so that i could have a canter i loved that the only thing i would say is stop people taking there phones out with them on the ride

Het paardrijden zelf was leuk, je maakt een mooie ronde en het een punt waar je even van het paard af kan om je benen te strekken. Genoten! Het transport duurde wat langer, andere ophalen en terug weg was de bus kapot. Er werd wel geregeld dat iedereen bij zijn hotel kwam maar hierdoor duurde de dag wat langer.

This was a wonderful experience of jungle, road and beach riding on horseback, with fresh coconut water from a coconut half way around. The horses are healthy. The horses do canter sometimes which can be scary for those who aren’t used to it but the guides take control when wanted. Make sure you feel secure in your stirrups before you leave or they won’t sort it after leaving. Photos are taken but cost over $105 which is too much to ask for, they know they are nice so you feel loss if you don’t.

I loved the actual horse riding and I didn’t feel like the horses were just used and abused, the staff knew the horse’s name and that means a lot coming from an animal lover. What I didn’t like was at the end it was very pushed to buy photos, fridge magnet and the mamajuanna. I get that this is cultural but with them being our only transport home, it felt like we HAD to buy the package which was $146 which is ludicrous.

At the welcome meeting you where asked if you'd ridden before , i have but only as a novice i was in turn given a horse that wanted to go quickly, in hindsight i should of said i hadn't ridden before and been given a slower horse to ride, during the ride they take photos and videos at the end of the ride they ask for 120usd for the images and videos which i feel is expensive.

This is a great excursion. The ranch pick you up and take you directly to the activity which you start straight away, there is no waiting around and the staff are all fully conversant with you. At the end of the excursion there is no pressure to buy their photographs, they even let you take your own then they take you straight back to the resort. Most of the ride is along the white sand beaches it really is incredible and very relaxing!

We booked this for my daughter’s birthday. From start to finish it was well organised. Our group was our family and one other person. The guides were so friendly and picked the right horses for my daughters. The horses were well looked after and the facilities were clean. The route itself was incredible; beach, jungle, beach. Cantoringon the beach with my family is a memory which will last a lifetime. We all loved it, and my daughter said it was the best birthday ever.

The actual horse riding was amazing. When we returned we was offered to purchase the photos. Unfortunately the asking price was very expensive. Also we was taken across to a souvenir shop. There was nothing we liked so we left but the guy was very persistent that we purchased even if it was $10. I explained that I wasn't going to buy something that I didn't want. I would still recommend the horse riding though.

A fantastic experience, very friendly transfer driver and very knowledgeable. The briefing was great and the guide was excellent, great company for the full 2 hrs of riding. Felt a little pressured at the end to buy photos and other gifts, but would recommend to his to anyone. We had never ridden before and it was excellent

Prima excursie. Precies wat ik er van had verwacht. Leuke begeleiders tijdens de rit. Leuk langs het strand gereden en door de bossen. Op sommige stukken werd er gegaloppeerd. Houd er rekening mee de foto’s die er gemaakt worden kosten ongeveer 80 euro.

They only took you on the beach to take pictures which they then tried to sell to you for US $105 for a few photos. For the five minutes we rode on the beach was fun. The rest of the riding was on the road which was not fun. No one bought the pictures at $105. They could have sold them to everyone at a much lower price point

The one hour experience actually takes just under 5 hours. We were picked up at 8:15, arrived 9:40am, intro for health and safety, out on the hack, photos taken, back to ranch. They then show you the pictures, encouraging you to buy the package of digital print, one key ring, one quarter bottle of herb rum and it totals $110. The gift package is not value for money. The actual horse ride was good! Take sunscreen, water and ensure you have 5 hours in your day!

I was the only person on this trip from my hotel, I was picked up on time and in a nice air con van and with a friendly driver and we had a nice chat on the way. Knowing the ranch in advance would have been useful to see where I was goi g to understand what I would see on the trek, so it for me it was ‘Rancho Caribeño’ and you visit Río Maimón Natural Park. The horse was scooby-doo, well looked after and easy to manage. Guide was great and beautiful trek. Photos upsell at the end expensive!

Was een leuke excursie de gids Oscar was erg leuk. De paarden zien er redelijk, ze luisterden goed en waren erg braaf. Leuk voor zowel gevorderden als beginners (ik zelf heb 20 jaar ervaring en voor mijn vriend was het zijn eerste keer. Ze geven je de kans om het ook echt te leren waardoor wij ook hebben kunnen galoperen. Foto's aan het eind zijn duur, ik vind het wel waard. Jammer dat je erna ook nog een giftshop in moet je komt voor de paarden niet om te winkelen.

The horse riding trip was a great way to enjoy a half day out. We opted for the two hour excursion - though you aren’t riding for 2 hours total, this includes a stop halfway for photos and also being shown photos from the trip at the end. The instructors were really friendly and fun, they had great control of the horses and made us feel really at ease. They go as fast as you are comfortable with, which meant we got a great gallop across the beach! We’d definitely do it again. Worth it.

I was concerned in advance about the welfare of the horses. The staff at the stables and the guide were really helpful, the horses looked really well cared for and he behaved himself. There was a lot of rubbish on the beach, the journey to & from the experience in an open sided truck was uncomfortable, especially when it rained. We were given plenty of water, the gift shop was ok, The worst part, by a long way, was the awful price demanded for photographs $100! I paid $20 for two digital shots.

2 hour horse riding comprises of 1hr 45 min bus ride to the ranch in a bus that has zero health & safety. 45 mins, actual horse riding, and 20 mins stood in baking sun whilst they take loads of photos, which they then try to sell for $120. Then go back to the ranch to sit for 45 mins, watching all photos, and then have another 1 hour 45 mins bus ride back to the hotel. Complete waste of money and time. What does 1hr horse riding get you??? probably 5 mins actual riding. I am very disappointed

We were disappointed that the guide staff let someone from our group of riders whip their horse pretty much all the trip. Poor horse, that ruined our experience as it was very uncomfortable for our young children to watch. Also saddened to see my horse go out again with another group straight after our two hour trip in the heat. I was told by our TUI rep that company was the best one to go for as they look after the horses. Something tells me otherwise. I would avoid them as horses skinny!

Excellent and well worth the money! Booked this twice during this holiday as my daughter rides horses. She loved it, galloping along the beach. My 6 year old niece who has never ridden before also enjoyed it. They take experienced riders and beginners. You won’t regret booking this!

Only walked no trot canter or gallop as described on TUI site spent 20 minutes stood on beach whilst photos taken off every group and everyone in the group then when we got back again further push on merchandise followed by long wait for the bus back to the hotel - didn’t get back till 730pm . Overall a disappointment not for a horse rider more of a donkey ride and we wouldn’t have gone on the trip as I feel it was miss represented and sold

The ride took us past the backs of hotels and unpleasant broken down/rubbish strewn paths. I was told the 1 hour ride does not include the beach by my rep when booking so changed to the 2hr ride, yet the first part of the ride took us immediately out of the ranch and onto the beach. So I feel I was unnecessarily upsold to increase my spend. The ride involved large chunks of time stopped for photos (by a photographer who would require additional payment for the pics).

Goed georganiseerd, mooie rit langs het strand en rustpunt aan een meer. De begeleiders hadden al heel snel door dat mijn dochter een ervaren ruiter was. Zij mocht vrij galloperen op het strand. Ook voor mij als niet ervaren ruiter was dit een hele leuke activiteit.

I didn't like how the horses were ridden together as a herd and not in single file. We were literally brushing up against each other and at one point my ankle was caught against another horses flank as we were walking and trotting along. This was clearly dangerous. Horses need their own space and distance as they can kick out. Luckily this didn't happen but the danger was there.

Topexcursie met kinderen vanaf 10 jaar. Je wordt opgehaald aan het hotel met een open truck. Het paardrijden verloopt afwisselend langs de kustlijn en in het bos in een kleine groep met gidsen, met draf en al voor meer gevorderden. Enige minpunt is dat achteraf de genomen foto's en videos aan een belachelijk dure prijs van 100dollar voor een usb-stick aangeboden worden, maar ze dringen niet aan. Een echte aanrader!

There is a lot of time spent taking photos on the beach which is great. There is a drone and a camera. At the end you are invited to watch the footage and the option to buy the USB stick, fridge magnet and also some alcohol with your picture on it. We got the USB stick and magnet which cost around 70 dollars. Come prepared with card or cash. There is also a little gift shop too.

It was a great experience, my wife lived it so much that we booked it again after 2 days. The staff are helpful and kind, and funny. The only not so great part I could say is the trip to the ranch, 40 minutes in the back of a truck. Overall, amazing experience!

Super leuk ervaring voor iemand dat nooit op een paard heeft gezeten zoals ik ??. Voor mijn echtgenoot was het wat saai. Helaas zag je onderweg veel afval wat geen fijn zicht was. De foto sessie duurde naar ons mening veel te lang. Na de toer kreeg je jammer genoeg geen enkele foto mits je betaalt $100. Helaas waren wij niet op de hoogte om geld mee te nemen. Waardoor wij ook geen foto’s konden kopen. Btw tis digitaal.

Probably the highlight of our holiday. Guides were experts in their field and we felt very safe and supported. Horses are beautiful, very well trained and well behaved. They are also well cared for. We did have to ride past a building site which spolt the scenery but that can't be helped. Thoroughly recommend and they cater for all abilities and ages etc. Photos looked great although, we are yet to receive ours a day later, however we haven't been charged as yet so no big deal.

The experience was great. It was our first time riding a horse -- it was very easy and enjoyable. The scenery was amazing. The only small downside was that a small lart of the journey was next to a construction site. I would definitely consider going again for a similar experience during my next holiday.

Als aktive Reiterin war dieser Ausritt sehr enttäuschend! Die Pferde waren zwar okay im Futter, hatten aber null Muskulatur und sind somit für das Reiten eigentlich überhaupt nicht geeignet! Es machte auch den Eindruck, als ob die Pferde den ganzen Tag gesattelt und getrenst (mit Blankokandare!) auf ihren nächsten Reiter warten! Ich werde so etwas nicht mehr unterstützen! Reine Reitzeit war nur 1 Std., obwohl 2 Std. gebucht. Es wurde nur Schritt geritten mit 2x kurz Galopp an der Hand.

Loved the experience, staff extremely friendly, some understand English more than others. Only negative was that our hotel wasn’t listed on the pick up points so we picked one that was the same name with one word missing assuming it was a typo on the app but it wasn’t so our driver was at the other hotel. It was all resolved but an FYI for future bookers.

Loved the experience on the course, they were all well card for and clean. However, we chose the hour session which in hindsight I should have paid for the two hour session which. On the way back the guide took us through the “plastic forest” as there was rubbish literally everywhere. Also the guide took us through a building site where workers and heavy machinery were passing, it wasn’t the paradise we were expecting but all in all we really enjoyed it on the beach with the horses.

S'ils nous avaient prévenus avant au départ de la randonnée qui était vraiment sympa, j'aurais davantage filmé moi-même... 30 US$ me semble un maximum raisonnable... mais pas plus... idéalement 25 US$... sinon pas de pourboires... Some of the trail was a little sketchy, meaning the scenery was not pleasant. With that being said the staff was very accommodating giving g me a great riding experience. At the hotel I was told that I would enjoy chocolate and local coffee and a quick swim in the ocean but there was none of those things. I really was okay with that, but maybe the guest excursion person shouldn't tell things that are not included

A brilliant experience. Great value for money. The guides were fantastic. I’d never been on a horse in my life but spent the two hours having great fun and even got to gallop on the beach for a short while on the return to the ranch. Don’t hesitate, just book it!

Am Strand zu reiten ist einfach himmlisch. Die Fotos sind auch klasse die gemacht werden. Allerdings wird leider nicht gallopiert wie in der Anzeige zu lesen ist und der Ritt ansich war nur 1 Std. Es fing an einem wunderschönen Strandabschnitt an und dann ritten wir durch einen verlassenen Strandabschnitt mit lauter gestrandetem Holz und Müll im Gebüsch - sehr schade

Thank you so much for helping my 7-year-old daughter, who was nervous with her first horse riding experience, but was well-looked-after by the guides, and they helped her to really enjoy the experience. It would be great if more confident riders could exercise the horses a bit more (trot / canter) - some of the horses seemed pretty keen to be able to go a bit faster, but there wasn't that much opportunity. Thank you - a great experience in a combination of sun and heavy rain!

The horse riding was really good.But I was miss led by TUI rep as I was told mosquito repellent was provided it wasn’t good job I took my own. Plus when being told about the trip I was l believe that we would be swimming in the sea with the horses even bought a waterproof phone pouch from gift shop this didn’t happen. Went to see the rep she denied saying it , miss understanding she said on my side so I wasn’t happy .

Horses appeared to be well looked after. The guides were great and made the whole experience fun ( we had a first time rider in our group, and they were well looked after). Riding along the beach and forest was amazing. We were slightly disappointed we didn’t get to spend much time at the river as another group was already there. Overall, a lovely morning excursion.

Das Reiten an sich war super und man hatte auch das Gefühl, dass es den Tieren gut geht. Erlebnis an sich TOP. Was nicht so schön war, dass direkt nach 5 Minuten erstmal Fotos von allen geschossen wurden, es muss ja was verkauft werden... 65$ ist schon ganz schön happig... und dann sollte man natürlich auch nochmal durch einen Souvenirladen gehen... Auf jeden Fall für Anfänger geeignet, wer wollte konnte zwischendurch mal schneller reiten, allerdings auch nur ein paar Sekunden.

The experience was incredible! Absolutely loved everything from the moment we left to the moment we came back! However, as they were taking pictures throughout the experience, we didn't take any ourselves, and in the end we were hit with a overwhelming 75 dollars for a cd with the pictures, which besides being extremely expensive and basically cost of the experience itself, we wouldn't have had a way to watch back as cd is outdated. Nevertheless the actual experience was a 10/10.

Amazing day, such a fantastic excursion. We had a storm on the way to this and the staff didn’t start until it stopped which makes you feel safe with the horses. Horses are beautiful and well locked after. Going down the beach and the Forrest was so gorgeous. The photos are very expensive to buy at 75 dollars however we bought them and wasn't disappointed with them they was great!

Although this was enjoyable and one of the cheaper trips it can be improved a lot !! $65 for some pics and a short video is really expensive , $30/35 for the mamajuana drink bottle is extortionate just because it has your pic on it and the same with the fridge magnet $15 . The beach and rain forest were covered in rubbish this was not shown by the rep selling the trips . Shop was way too expensive also

I loved that the guides acknowledged riders with more experience to allow for a faster pace along the beach. The horses are in good condition and happy to be out exercising which is a bonus! I was a little worried after reading reviews that I would feel uncomfortable declining the merchandise and shop but I was in no way made to feel pressured into making a purchase. This is a fantastic excursion for those with riding experience and for me, a great introduction to western riding! Thankyou!

Well iv never been on a horse before and was a bit nervous as to what to expect, straight from the off I realized that the horses were very well behaved and patient with rider ,there were lots of pictures taken and sold to you later, $90 was a bit extreme so just bought a fridge magnet and$15 for that..I would advise wearing suitable footwear but as for the 2 hours on horseback I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend if ever you get the chance..10/10..??

Booked this trip for a few hours out of the hotel. Really well organised from start to finish. Pick up from hotel on time & only 20 mins journey from our Dreams Macau hotel. Horses appeared healthy & well looked after. Guide was experienced &!made us feel safe although language barrier was a slight issue, he spoke little English and our Spanish is rubbish!! Ride along the beach was an experience not to be missed. Only downside was price of photos although we didn’t buy and seller was not pushy.

Unfortunately, the cost of the photos, rum with our picture and similar magnet, was the same as the excursion, which made it difficult to start a negotiation. And we were made to feel like we should have bought them. Then being shown around a shop to try and sell us other items (e.g. wooden ornaments).

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, horses looked cared for and had sheltered stables. Our guide Jose was very chatty to everyone present. Loved how the photos were taken in the group of people you were with, and no pressure to buy them. We did get the bundle for $80 dollars which was all videos/photos, a magnet and a bottle of mamajuana with our picture on..My sister lost her phone on the way back and he went back and found it which he didn’t need to. Beautiful beach we rode/galloped on.

Great excursion. Very well organised, lovely staff/guides. Horses are very well looked after and very friendly. We all enjoyed it very much. 2 adults , a 9 year old and 6 year old. Would highly recommend. The ride was a good length and saw some beautiful views. The mosquitoes in the jungle weren’t too fun, got lots of bites even though the guides had sprayed us with bug spray before our trip. The beach was beautiful. Worth the money. The staff were great and the young lad at the ranch has brilliant English and answered any questions we had. The ride was lovely and such good value for money. It was only that I had to ask to gallop on the beach and it was really structured so had to stay back and then gallop to catch up. A bit more freedom for experienced riders would have been nice. Otherwise though great value for money and horses were brilliant.

The tour was fantastic., regardless of riding level. The guides were great and friendly. The houses are well trained so even though you have basic instructions they pretty much ride themselves. Guide was friendly , horses looked well , the route we took was lovely apart from the amount of rubbish strewn everywhere! Very sad to see . Could have done with more galloping . We did a 2 hour ride . I was sad to see an iguana tied up on a short leash at the ranch ! I love these creatures and felt he needed more reign and water . Alles wurde genau erklärt. Auch für unerfahrene geeignet. Die Pferde sind sehr gepflegt. Reiten war direkt am Meer und durch einen Wald. Einzige Nachteile waren: - gebucht war es auf Deutsch sprachen nur englisch (Fragebogen war deutsch) - Bilder/Video/ Flasche und Magnet extremst überteuert 65Doller. Nur Bilder zum kaufen ging nicht!

MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! We got collected from the hotel in a safari truck and taken to a little ranch. The staff were very welcoming and spoke really good English. We had a little brief on the safety and how to ride, as well as getting helmets fitted. Then, we got sprayed with bug spray and paired up with a horse. This is amazing for first time riders as well as experienced. We rode along the beach, stopped for some photos and a coconut to drink. We paid 80 dollars for over 100 photos & videos

The horse riding was good, the horses are very friendly and easy to ride, especially for beginners. If you know what you are doing they will let you ride fast down the beach. At the end they try to sell some over priced pictures but we just said no and that was fine

A lovely experience to ride on the beach. My wife is an experienced rider so was able to gallop along the waterside as well. The photos shoot was a little annoying as we always planned to just take our own photos, and the hard sell at the end a little annoying, however a simple 'no thank you' to the extortionate photo prices was sufficient. Booked an hour but was nearly 2 in the end so would advise anyone else to do the same. A lovely morning away from the resort.

The transfer from the hotel to ranch was nice & safe we had a lovely driver. The ranch itself needs improvement, i did not think it was value for money. You need to account for the pictures they take and then the shop so overall you’ll be spending 100plus, even if you do not pay for pictures or spend in the shop it is very expensive for what you get. The horses are kept in one area so not in great condition and elsewhere I believe this experience is no more than £25

Der Ausflug war gut. Die Route war nicht wirklich schön. Der Strand und auch die Umgebung war schmutzig. Die Fotos die vom Guide gemacht wurden kosteten überteuert viel. Souvenirs können im Shop daneben gekauft werden. Sind schön. Pferde haben guten Eindruck gemacht. Konnten auch traben und galoppieren. Es wurde nicht viel gesagt oder gesprochen. Nur spanisch, obwohl deutsch gewählt werden konnte.

Schönes Reiterlebnis, auch für ungeübte Reiter. Kurze Trab-Episoden, ansonsten nur Schritt. Wir waren dann an einem schönen Strand. Negativ war nur, das die Fotos, die dort gemacht wurden wirklich teuer verkauft werden sollten (20$). Also selber Handy mitnehmen.

Staff on the ride were excellent and the horses looked well cared for. Unfortunately a lot of the early ride was about photographs which they want to charge over $120 for - they’d sell more if it wasn’t so pricey. Shop there is very expensive too.

Top , un accueil en français. Guides au top , agreables et qui mettent une super ambiance. Départ en petit groupe. Seuls bémols, le transport et le prix ultra prohibitif des photos souvenir( pas obligatoire du tout ) Sinon on a passé un super moment.

Lovely ride along the beach and pleasant staff. Disappointed with hard sell to purchase the photos they took. Very expensive and felt intimidated as they want you to buy their photos before they transfer you back to the hotel.

Booking was fairly simple but saying that our names or booking werent on the drivers list when he arrived so were a little worried about getting on the transport truck without a tui rep (in fact we didnt see one our whole stay) to help/confirm our safety . The actual trip was lovely , the staff at the ranch were great just a shame they dont accept credit cards only cash for the photos , the photos are overpriced but we would have bought them .

Amazing experience, very well managed and thoroughly enjoyable. The only thing I would say is add that they take pictures when advertising this experience so you take money to purchase at the end if you want to.

It was all very safe and all went well. What was hard to see was that the horses really didn’t look like they were enjoying the ride, it looked and felt like they were being forced. I would have paid to give the horse a rest instead. If it wasn’t for that it would be a good experience. They had taken some super photos but wanted $110 for them with a magnet etc, $95 for the photos, this just felt like they were completely trying to rip the tourist off. Make money yes but that’s crazy.

Kleine groep. Duidelijke uitleg en leuk ritje door bos en op het strand. Jammer dat je voor de foto's die gemaakt worden de hoofdprijs wordt gevraagd. Maar wordt niet aangedrongen om te kopen, dus dat is dan wel goed.

We paid for the 1 hour horse ride but we're out riding for at least 2 hours. The guides were great and helped us with the horses. A few ladies in our group were nervous and they really took their time helping them out. Not as pushy with the sale of pictures as we expected but they were not happy when we said no. The horses seemed to be in quite a small barn for how many of them there were but once the saddles were odd they had free roam. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

The ride was enjoyable. Worth the money. We payed for an hour ride but we were out for over 2 hours. Groups of over 30 riding all at once. Because of this, we got squished between horses trying to push past. They showed us all the pictures they took but spoke to each party separately, giving a different price for the photos starting at $100 but telling others $70. Still a lot of money. And with the advise to not take our phones on the ride, we felt pressure to pay for photos.

The horse riding experience was amazing and all the staff were so friendly , the guides on our tour went above and beyond and the horses are so well kept ! Beautiful scenery on the ride and our whole group felt so safe ! The main guy was so so friendly and non of the guys pressured you for tips or to buy pictures which made us want to tip them more as they were amazing ! 10/10 trip

Beautiful, well cared for horses. Guides were great. We just didn’t expect to be given a hard sell before we were allowed to leave. $120 is insane for photos and we were held up on returning to the hotel to visit an ATM and souvenir shop!

The ride was organised and we enjoyed ourselves. Our only criticism was the cost of the photos. We always know that when abroad the price is hiked up but we were not prepared for $142! Absolutely ridiculous cost and no one in the whole group purchased them. Maybe a more realistic price would encouraged more people to buy. We expected £60, not what we were offered.

My daughter and I did this ride (2hours) it was well organised and the horses are in really good condition. The views are breathtaking and we got the opportunity to gallop along the beach which was just beyond amazing. You stop half way and there is an option to buy a coconut and have fresh milk. The guides were very helpful. We have ridden all around the world and this is one of our best riding experiences.

Ride was really great but pressure for tips & trying to charge $120 for the pics is ridiculous. Pics couldn’t be bought individually and the whole process felt more about milking us for money than the excursion. I tipped my two guides $10 each but they almost scorned me. We don’t earn a lot and have worked hard to get here. They are clearly earning more than I am to scorn at a tip of nearly £10. The whole place needs to be careful that it doesn’t sink into assuming all visitors are millionaires!

Echt heel tof om mee te maken! Leuke groep en personeel is erg professioneel en vriendelijk, paarden goed verzorgd en de route te paard is heel mooi! Twee verbeterpuntjes; ophaalservice wist niet van mijn boeking waardoor ik moest bellen (redelijk duur om 20 minutes in de wacht te staan bij TUI in het buitenland), en ze maken foto’s van je op het paard/strand, maar verkopen die voor 3x de prijs van de activiteit zelf (170 euro!!)..

This was my first time on a horse, I felt well looked after, the guides where great and spoke excellent English. They advise you not to take your phone as they get lost but I think this is so you pay the $128 for the photos package. We took our phones and got some amazing photos. Also take a small amount of money as you stop and can buy a coconut on the beach which is needed after being out in the hot sun (you cannot take drinks with you on the horse) it was great fun trotting along the beach

We really enjoyed galloping across the beach. When you have previous experience be sure to tell the tour guides and they will make sure you get to ride to your skill set. The staff were excellent. However I did feel a little pressured to buy photos at the end which are quite expensive and it is cash only. But they are great photos none the less. The beaches could be better maintained.

Pros: The staff were welcoming and helpful They seemed fairly safety conscious, hats were mandatory which made me feel secure. Good value for money in terms of time spent riding I was allowed to go for a gallop along the beach which was great fun Cons: Horses were visibly lame - welfare is a big issue here, visible pelvis and ribs and not a single horse I saw had a full set of shoes… Dirty littered route that we went on, beach was full of litter! Hard sell on photos - $135!!!

Guide was great, very friendly. My horse was very well trained and I felt safe as a novice. Only issue was at the end where I felt pressured to buy a USB with photos of the experience, a very cheap looking clay magnet with a photo of me inserted into a celephane window and a bottle of local alcohol with the same picture as the magnet on the front. They ask for $120 dollars for the 3! Honestly i left feeling obliged to buy something, ended up getting the USB of photos for £60. More than I paid for the excursion, I was a lone traveller with only another lady from America in my group, I believe she got a similar deal but at $50.

Was a really fun afternoon out! There was a group of about 9 of us, this wasn’t ideal as it felt a bit squashed as the horses kept trying to cut in front of one another and when they wanted to run, it only lasted a few seconds before another horse got in the way. It was a lovely route going through the beach and the forest. Stopped for about 15 mins on the beach to take photos (bit annoying if you know you’re not going to buy the photos at the end as they charge $90 for the USB). The horses seemed well looked after and the guides regularly checked in. After an hour you get off the horses for them to have a little break and there’s a man to buy coconuts from. The ride back is also nice and when you are able to canter down the beach! When you get back to the ranch you have some mamajuana and they talk you through what you can buy. Unfortunately there was a lizard tied up for the amusement of guests which was sad however seems like it’s part of what goes on in Dominican Republic as saw other lizards/monkeys tied up for the rest of the holiday. Overall was a good birthday present for my sister and would’ve been perfect had the group been about half the size and the poor lizard not tied up at the end.

Loved the ride along the beach and surrounding area overall an enjoyable experience. A couple of issues, got soaked during the ride due to a torrential downpour, had to sit and wait to be returned to Hotel in soaking clothes and then transported in an open sided wagon with more wind and rain, got really cold/chilled...the other thing is that in my opinion the cost of the souvenirs that record your trip seem high @ £100 for the set...

Pick up and drop was very uncomfortable seats only about 6 inches deep took around 1 hour to get there and lots of fumes made chest quite sore. Horse riding was brilliant, it was my first time on a horse they really looked after us, rode on beach, through woods/forest etc, souvenirs very expensive -magnet with paper printed photo of me on horse, small bottle of mamajuana (national drink) with photo label, and memory stick of about 10 photos they took, for $120, I brought the magnet for $20.

Excellent trip that we would highly recommend. Great ride near the sea initially and some other trekking routes. A little bit of gentle cantering later in the ride by which time, even me as a non-rider, felt comfortable with the horse and had the reassurance of the two guides keeping a close eye on the four of us (two couples). They chopped down coconuts and prepared them for us to drink. Doesn't get fresher than that. The only downside was that the photos and videos they took - which looked great - were at a single price for the USB stick plus a fridge magnet and a small botter of mamajuana. This equated to around £80 which we felt was extortionate. It would be wise for them to do various options for different budgets, e.g a couple of photos for $10 U.S. or something similar. That said, we would highly recommend this trip and felt it was great vfm.

Ik vond alles leuk! Vooral de begeleiding ! Ze zijn heel aardig. Voor mij was het eerste keer op een paard en ze hadden mij super begeleid! Ze maken ook leuke fotos en moedigen je aan. Het was heel erg gezellig.

Insgesamt ein schöner Ausflug. Die Pferde machen einen gepflegten Eindruck und hatten sehr viel Lust auf den Ausritt mit unserer Gruppe. Es wird ein etwa 15min. Stopp am Strand eingelegt, um ein Fotoshooting zu machen. Fotos sind Abzocke, es werden 80-130$ verlangt für einen USB-Stick.
