Duik in de Mayacultuur tijdens een bezoek aan Tulum, de locatie van een van de best bewaarde Maya-kuststeden, en verken de archeologische site van Cobá met zijn 42 meter hoge piramide. Kom tussen de bezoeken door op adem met een verfrissende duik in een prachtige cenote en een lunchbuffet in een lokaal restaurant. Uw avontuur begint bij de archeologische site van Tulum, waar u meer leert over de Mayacultuur van uw gids. U heeft daarna vrije tijd om de site te verkennen en te genieten van het uitzicht op het strand met zijn witte zand en kristalheldere water. Uw volgende stop is de archeologische site van Cobá met de majestueuze piramide van Nohoch Mul. Na deze volledige onderdompeling in de geschiedenis, geniet u van een heerlijke lunchbuffet in een lokaal restaurant, gevolgd door een bezoek aan een Mayadorp waar u hun gebruiken en tradities beter leert kennen. Voordat u teruggaat naar uw hotel, mag u de kans niet missen om te zwemmen in de prachtige Choo Ha-cenote. Voor hotels buiten Playa del Carmen en Cancun geldt een verplichte stop van ongeveer 1 uur in Playa del Carmen.

This was mainly a Spanish speaking tour with a few English speakers. The tour guide switched so rapidly between Spanish and English every half sentence that by the time you realised he was speaking English, he was back to Spanish. Most of what was said was in Spanish, making it very difficult to understand what was going on. Often we were waved in the direction of the Spanish speakers and left to follow them without knowing why, or told to “head over there, pick up the shuttle to **?** and wait”

In Tulum we where told to stay together as a group which we did until the end where we were waiting for internal transport to take us back to the car park the guide got on the first tram leaving others to get back alone every tram came through full we finally got on one after 20min luckily one person could speak Spanish and asked where to go otherwise we would not have had any idea the guide should have waited till all the party was safely on the trams not good at all spoiled the day

Bus was 30 minutes late for pick up. Guide did not choose to speak English to us so we did not get any instructions/itinerary. We spent 3 1/2 hours picking people up and dropping people off in the morning. Second guide did speak English to us but ww missed alot of the history etc. Very rude shaking basket in from of you asking for tips. We did tip even though not good experience. All locations we were told to rush as we were running out of time.

Ruins were enjoyable, but it would have been far better and more enjoyable had the tour started earlier (say 7.40 rather than 9.40). As tour members didn't stick to time, we were late leaving Tulum and had to go straight to Coba rather than having lunch first. This had a knock-on effect meaning lunch wasn't until 3.45pm. Having a late stop on 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen after 7.30pm for 40 minutes with young children was far too late; we had to pay for a taxi back as they were exhausted.

We hadden een engels-talige excursie geboekt en hij was bijna kompleet in het Spaans. Ook hadden wij het vermoeden dat ze ons waren vergeten op te halen. De bezienswaardigheden waren wel interresant.

Great way to see both of the ruins in one day. The cenote was beautiful and a great way to get out of the heat. Only thing I would change is that it didn’t feel like we got much information from our guide. Minimal descriptions of the history and were left alone almost entirely for Coba.

Heel goede gids. We kregen voldoende vrije tijd om Tulum en Coba te bezichtigen na de gidsbeurt. Lunch eenvoudig maar heel lekker.

I'm glad we visited this before Chichen Itza or we would have been disappointed. Good guide, the cenote was beautiful but couldn't climb the temple. Lots packed into one day but make sure you bring snacks and water or you'll have to buy these on route. The guide looked out for us with the heat and other families with young children.

The guide was brilliant!!! (didn’t catch his name) He was very knowledgeable and translated into English for our family. You travel to 5 different locations which is great value for money. Lunch was good. TUI could give more information about how long the trip takes and that you need money for bicycles at Coba and for souvenirs. We only had just enough money for the bikes (too hot to walk in the time) so we didn’t have enough to tip properly as deserved. The cenote is amazing cool down. Fab day!

This tour was really good only downside was when in the coba one and you get “free time” it did not seem long enough also when we didn’t know what the ruins etc were or stood for but other than that the rest of it was brilliant and great value for money especially since there is so much on the one tour

Guides were well informed, and the site visits to Tulum and Coba were interesting. Bad bits - we spend almost 90 mins in total waiting for other travellers that weren’t ready at their pick up points. The Cenote - it would have been useful to have a lockers to store belongings, especially when raining. Lunch was billed as buffet lunch at a roadside cafe and were given tasteless chicken. The staff were so busy they found it difficult to serve everyone as we arrived as a group.

The tour is through a third party and is advertised as a 11 -13 hour trip, 8 hours is what we received. The snorkelling at the cenote you need proof of ID or a deposit to use snorkels, we weren’t told this as we left the tour bus so couldn’t make the most of the experience. The Mother Nature Sculpture is not on this tour at all, tour guide spoke in Spanish most of the time. Lunch was basic in a roadside cafe.
