For an Arctic adventure that combines stars, snow and fun, look no further than this night-time snowmobile safari. You'll zoom along under the stars with one eye on the skies for signs of the Northern Lights.This two-hour snowmobile adventure by night is bound to get your heart racing. You'll drive a snowmobile through the snow-capped forests of Lapland as the moon begins to rise and the stars twinkle in the sky.Follow your guide along routes and tracks, and feel the exhilaration of zipping through this enchanting scenery. And riding through the night means you'll get to see the moon reflecting off the icy landscape, and the Northern Lights if you're lucky.

Each snowmobile is shared by two guests taking turns in driving

Drivers must be over 18 years and hold a full UK driving licence which needs to be brought on the excursion

Taking alcohol or drugs is not permitted before or during the tour

Your maximum personal liability is €980 with the insurance, your self liability can be reduced to €150 by paying a waiver supplement of €20 per safari driver in resort

It's possible to ride solo for a €55 supplement per person, sold in resort

The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is a natural phenomenon which can be predicted but not guaranteed

All optional excursions are timed to complement your 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 night stay in Lapland - we will confirm the most appropriate time for your chosen excursion on arrival in Lapland

This trip lasts for around two hours in total

Children over 12 years old are allowed to sit on the snowmobile behind an adult, if they are over 140cm tall, physically strong enough, the adult helmet fits and they pay the adult price

Not suitable for expectant mothers

Not suitable for those with reduced mobility

Bring a valid driving licence

Thoroughly enjoyed the snowmobile experience. Henry was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the region. We also enjoyed the hot berry juice around the fire halfway through. The elves Bubbles and Fizz were also entertaining.

Great

Staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable. Snowmobile almost new and in excellent condition. Trial run before setting off would have been better for first time users.
