Een bezoek aan de legendarische Phi Phi-eilanden is een must-do als je in Thailand bent. En met deze speedboottocht doe je dat in stijl. Je vaart langs de beste stranden van de archipel en hebt vrije tijd om te zwemmen, te snorkelen en te relaxen. Monkey Beach en Pileh Cove staan ook op het programma. Dus dat wordt een geweldige dag.Als je aankomt in de archipel, ga je langs bij Bamboo Island om te zwemmen voordat je door de beroemde Maya Baai vaart waar de film met Leonardo DiCaprio, The Beach, werd opgenomen. Je stopt voor lunch op Phi Phi Don, en verder ga je, naar Monkey Beach en Viking Cave.Je relaxt als je langs de beste stranden van Thailand glijdt en de opvallende plekken van Pileh Cove en Loh Sama Bay ziet. Daar koel je af met een duik in het water, met of zonder snorkel. Tot slot chill je verder op Koh Rang Yai.

Tussen 1 augustus en 30 september is Maya Bay gesloten voor bezoekers vanwege het behoud van het ecosysteem. Tijdens deze periode is er een sightseeingboottocht door de baai, op een respectvolle afstand

Excellent

Despite the weather (we did go in rainy season) we had an absolutely fantastic time. The islands were beautiful but what really topped the day was our fantastic and hilarious guide, Bird!!! Very good value for money and a fantastic day out.

Tour guide Perry made the day! Having done a few island tours before , the phi phi tour is good however it is just so busy with tourists/boats etc it’s hard to enjoy as its queues and crowds all day.phi phi the main Island itself is really commercialised with a McDonald’s etc it’s not a paradise as you’d expect. Also lots of rubbish on the beach. The lunch we had included was awful! We still had an enjoyable day but feel the other islands are less busy and far nicer.

The day all told was fantastic, however, I found that the noise level of the engines was almost unbearable. I have a DB app on my phone which registered almost 90Db for a period of over 60 minutes. I feel that we should have been warned about this or given ear protection as a minimum. I spent the remainder of the night with a raging headache and ringing in my ears. Otherwise, Mr Boy was great fun, knowledgeable & one of the funniest people I have met in Thailand.

Long day with lots of travel. Would be good to know this and a rough idea of timings and where you are going before you book. Not very impressed with the lunch option provided.

The whole thing was really well organised and a very full day out. The guide Tuk Tuk did an amazing job and the boat crew looked after us brilliantly. Really surprised by how much was crammed in to the day. Our only complaint was that we were holidaying in Khao Lak so it was 2hrs to Phutek and 3hrs back to the hotel in the evening. But none of that ruined our memories of an amazing day out.

I was disappointed that we couldn't go on the beach at Maya Bay and there was other tourists on that beach, this was the main reason why I booked this trip as tui advertised it. Also there was too many people on the boat it was squeeze sitting down. The islands looked amazing and the beach on phi phi island was absolutely stunning and Bamboo island.

We were last on the boat and the tour was oversubscribed which meant we had to separate to find seats, families were asked to move but did not seem to want to move along and create space. The guide was very rude, he clapped his hands at us while waiting on the boat and did not seem to be able to explain what we were doing next. The guide did not adhere to the timings he set and 10-15minutes after we were told to meet he would arrive. We did not get lunch until after 2pm which was after swimming so we were wet during lunch and passed the stage of hunger by time lunch time arrived.A family was on the trip and the behaviour ruined this trip for ourselves and other parties on the trip.
