Deze tour laat je de verschillende kanten van Kos zien. Het eiland puilt uit met natuurlijke en culturele schatten, zowel op het land als in en aan zee. Je bekijkt het Asclepeion, bezoekt het dorp Kefalos en maakt een boottocht.Een van de belangrijkste culturele bezienswaardigheden van het eiland is het Asclepeion. Deze tempel uit de 5e eeuw v.Chr. eert de Griekse god van de geneeskunde. Het was een populair kuuroord dat pelgrims uit heel het oude Griekenland aantrok. Leuk weetje: Hippocrates heeft hier zijn medische opleiding gekregen.Na je bezoek aan Asclepeion gaat de tocht naar Kefalos. Vanuit dit sfeervolle dorp heb je een panoramisch uitzicht over het eiland en op de Egeïsche Zee. Vervolgens daal je weer af naar de kust, waar je in Kamari op de boot stapt. Even later laat de schipper het anker zakken in een idyllische baai. Hier neem je een duik in het water en zet je je tanden in een heerlijke souvlaki-lunch op het strand.

The staff were extremely knowledgeable and the Asklepion was interesting. I think we could have spent a little less time at the aloe vera farm and hilltop village and more time at the beach. I suggest that you bring snacks as it was about 2.30 by the time we had lunch and it was an early start so I was really hungry! The BBQ was tasty and it was great they accommodated for me being vegetarian. Bring snorkels and sea shoes for the beach, there's lots of fish to see!

Enjoyed the trip around Kos. Asklipieio was fascinating and a great history lesson. The boat trip to remote beach was also great. I would recommend anyone who is on this trip and wants to swim in the sea to wear swim shoes as the beach is pebbled and is difficult to walk on in bear feet Special praise needs to go to the crew of the boat as they went above and beyond. My son left his cap at the previous venue in Kefalos and they arranged for it to be waiting for us at the harbour on our return.

The tour guides were patient , friendly and informative. The tour was not too much or little - just right. The boat ride was fun and engaging!! We arrived at a serene private island, we spent some time taking innthe view. The lunch that was served was delicious. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

Started with long trip 1hr45 picking up at various hotels with no guide or clue what was happening . Got to guide at site which was interesting good guide bus to illage up port had Short break . Down to boat but die to choppy sea ate on boat swim of boat then back to hotel

The wait before we got into the Asclepion was a bit long as we had to wait for another bus to arrive and the walk after the tour felt a bit rushed. The guiding throughout the day was excellent and we learned a lot about Kos. The boat tour and BBQ on the beach was great. The staff took great care about special dietary requirements. Overall we had a wonderful day.

The tour was very interesting and the guide, Ana, was informative. We enjoyed the boat trip but was a little disappointed by the beach stop. The beach was very pebbly and difficult to walk on. However the bbq was lovely.

Very enjoyable trip apart from driving for an hour collecting from other hotels, then driving for a further 30mins (?) to Asclepius. That aside once started very good, knowledgeable tour guide. The food was nice and plentiful although not so good if you’re vegetarian and the time to swim was more than long enough.

This was a good , first, excursion on the island. A quick trip to the Asklepion, heaps of great ruins there and all the history with Hippocrates. Then on to a windmill in Kefalos, great views and the place itself is very interesting, we also tried some of the local cinnamon based non-alcoholic drink, which was nice. Then on to a boat trip around the island little to such a lovely little bay for a Greek lunch and a swim - the sea is like a swimming pool it is so clear and was 23 degrees too!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and amazingly multilingual. He even made sure my wife had a salad without cucumber ready for her when we arrived for lunch (due to her allergy). The boat staff were friendly and made sure we all had fun aboard. I would highly recommend the trip. My only comment is that the gift shop wasn’t open at the windmill, so we couldn’t buy a souvenir.
