De topattracties van deze dagtrip zijn shoppen, een lunch aan de rivier en een ongerepte canyon. Ook maak je een boottocht door de canyon en heb je tijd voor een duik in het Oymapinar stuwmeer. Narin, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, vertelt: "Het Oymapinar stuwmeer is één van de grootste stuwmeren in Turkije en heeft een oppervlakte van ongeveer 19 vierkante kilometer. Het meer krijgt zijn water door de Manavgat rivier die vanuit het Taurusgebergte naar het zuiden stroomt en uiteindelijk uitmondt in de Middellandse Zee bij Side”.Je start je excursie met shoppen in het Dickman Textielcentrum. Als mode je ding is, dan heb je geluk: je snuffelt hier op een relaxte manier rond naar kleding en accessoires van topmerken. Vervolgens ga je naar een restaurant aan de rivier waar je aanschuift voor een versbereide maaltijd met lokale producten. Vervolgens ga je aan boord voor een relaxte boottocht door de canyon. Terwijl je over de kronkelende turquoise rivier vaart kijk je je ogen uit op de spectaculaire ruige rotsformaties om je heen. Het is een prachtig stukje Turks natuurschoon en de kleur van het water is betoverend. En als de boot het Oymapinar meer bereikt, heb je de kans om in deze natuurlijke omgeving te zwemmen.

I really dislike the way you are all funneled into almost forced shopping spree’s by taking you to a big outlet store first and literally have a bag thrust into your hand to encourage you to shop, shop, shop! Then it’s onto an orange plantation which was mediocre and a bit pointless but I understand it’s locals way to make a living out of tourism so that’s fair enough. The actual boat trip after lunch was amazing and well worth putting up with being jigsawed into shops prior to the trip.

Orange garden pointless, just a souvenir buying stop. Nothing to do with orange growing. Felt the shopping outlet was there just to fill time. Lunch and boat very good.

This was a great trip with lots packed into the day. Having visited a clothing outlet store, there's a stop off for a swim in an outdoor pool and delicious lunch before heading off on the canyon cruise. The cruise was great and very picturesque. The boat stops at a pontoon so you can get off and swim in the reservoir, with a life jacket on if needed. There's a stop-off at an orange grove where there's a shop selling gifts such as rose oil. The guide for the day was excellent.

Really good day guide was very informative the swim in The canyon was enjoyable and refreshing - lunch was ok salmon over cooked but didn’t ruin the overall experience- trip to and from hotel was long but that’s because where we were located - would highly recommend

Very beautiful experience! Guide Tour Zack was good, knowledge and took ample time explaining the history of Alanya, the geography and culture of the people around. The whole cruise in general was breathtaking, just experiencing God’s beautiful nature. The meal was delectable! I would recommend!

Nice relaxing day,
Didn’t enjoying the shop stop, only fake designer items on sale, nothing Turkish, orange groove, out of season, so stop was just to get us to buy.
More time at lunch to beable to use pool and eat, lunch much to early at 11 15am

I didn’t think the trip was value for money paid. The boat trip and lunch were very nice and got a couple of bargains in the market, but the orange grove was very disappointing. Was given a small cup of fresh orange juice and sat amongst orange trees for about 30 minutes.

Lunch was the best thing on the agenda. 1 hour spent on hotel pick ups is too much. Orange Grove stop could have been missed giving more time for swim at lunch. Boat too crowded - not much fun if you’re not the 1st coach on. Wouldn’t recommend this tour to others

Enjoyed the trip very much. The canyon was amazing as was the dip in the water. Lunch was lovely, a really relaxing day out of the hotel. You have to travel to get to these lovely places so time on the bus didn’t matter to us. Got to see a lot more of Side.

The only thing I found bad about the experience was when we had lunch. The food was very poor quality and the salad had so many flies on it, you couldn’t see the food plus we got asked what drinks we would like, they brought them over and then about 10 minutes later they come round asking for the money! But the excursion says “drinks are included” ??

The guide was excellent at giving lots of historical and geographical knowledge about the trip, route and canyon. The river and dam were amazing, much enjoyed by all of my family. Swimming in the gorge was fabulous! The venue for lunch was gorgeous and the food was delicious. The trip to the orange grove was not as expected; we couldn’t walk through or pick our own fruits. But it was very short so didn’t impact very much. Worth the money overall.

Myself, husband, son 16 and daughter 19 did the Green Canyon experience with shopping, orange orchard and lunch imcluded. The guide erkant, was ok, not very charismatic as previous Tui guides. Not very informative. The shopping stop was worth it, got good bargins and had enough time. The orange orchad was VERY underwhelming. Could skip this part of the tour. Lunch was pleasant with a swimming stop. Boat trip was amazing, so beautiful and swim stop was brilliant. Good day out.

Really enjoyed the Green Canon boat ride and the lunch in beautiful surroundings,, the water and views are breathtaking, outlet was good, lots of choice and nice to be able to just look around freely, orange juice was amazing, coach trip was fine and guides good. Free drinks on boat was perfect.

Our Guide Younas was great. Informative and told us lots of interesting facts on the bus on route. He Told us about Turkey generally too which was great. The trip was great except need more time in the orange grove first stop.There was a whole orchard there that we did not properly see. Lunch was in an amazing place.just beautiful. Better than expected. The only down side was the TOTAL WASTE OF TIME at the LAST stop, the shopping place. Nothing cheap, just designer stuff. There far too long.

The green canyon trip was great, the boat was fab and lunch was lovely. I really enjoyed the trip tot he textile shop, but I felt the orange Grove was a waste of time and not as advertised. It was more of a sales pitch to buy oils and soap rather than go a walk in an orange Grove. The lunch location although rustic and unique was way too long spent there should have been half the time.

This is an excellent leisurely trip. Canyon and Lake are beautiful, as is the waterfall. More for older customer than our two 9 and 12 year olds, although they thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the Lake. Only real criticism is that having done this trip in 2008 in the height of the season on a smaller open topped craft, on this trip in October 2022, the top deck was covered, so no opportunity for sunbathing and were packed in like sardines to the maximum,which significantly detracted from the trip.

Overall a good day, many highlights mixed with pointless time fillers Transport: Transfer shuttle and main coach very good Canyon: Highlight of the day Lunch: Very good and nice location “Textile” Market aka Fake Clothes Market: Complete waste of an hour, can only assume tour operator makes a commission on sales as no other reason to visit Waterfalls: good, shame to only spend 30 mins Orangery: Juice was delicious, but felt like a filler activity as no history shared about orangery

Amazing excursion worth every penny. Everything we visited was pretty local so not too much time spent on the coach. The Green Canyon is absolutely beautiful with some amazing scenery. Manavgat waterfall was lovely and we took some great photos. The orange garden was an added bonus with some freshly squeezed orange juice. The shopping at the retail outlet wasnt our thing but didnt spend too much time here so wasnt too bad. Rep was great and didnt run your legs off like on some other excursions.

Upphämtningen måste blivit fel , tog 2 timmar för 1 mil ?! Han åkte till 3 hotell men hämtade ingen , lite missvisande med badandet då man trodde vi skulle åka till någon strand typ o kunna vara där en stund , inte en brygga med 100 per samtidigt Det absolut bästa var vår guide , tror han hette mehmet, otroligt bra o trevlig kille

Really enjoyed the green canyon boat trip and lunch at the restaurant, and would recommend for this alone. The waterfall was good to see. The textile outlet was not for us, we would have preferred not to stop here for an hour - perhaps this could be a choice? The orange garden would have been nice but we spent so long in the shop and were ready to get back to our hotel. Other than that, the guide was brilliant and we had an enjoyable day.

The actual cruise down the canyon was good. However too much time spent on the bus. shopping trip was a waste of time. Lunch was pretty poor with no drinks included not even water! Overall very disappointing

What a great trip to the green canyon, the tour guide Mehmet was as lovely guy and made us both feel relaxed and comfortable and provided local information as the day progressed. The boat ride on the canyon was great and the scenery was amazing, cooling off in the canyon was also lovely and much needed with it being so warm. Trip to the shops and orange farm was great as well as the food served at the restaurant by the river was nice. Overall a great trip.

Our TUI guide was fantastic and translated the pertinent facts from German which was the only commentary provided by the boat crew. If you're going to sell a tour to English people it should be available in English
