Verborgen tussen de bergen bouwde koning Lodewijk II van Beieren twee fantastische droomkastelen: kasteel Neuschwanstein en Slot Linderhof. Beide kastelen zijn een getuigenis van de bijzondere visie van de 'sprookjeskoning' van Beieren. Onderweg naar de extravagante Duitse kastelen is het volop genieten van het het schilderachtige Duitse landschap. De kastelen staan wereldwijd bekend om de unieke architectuur en constructie welke zijn bedacht en gerealiseerd door de Zwanenkoning. Wanneer je kasteel Neuschwanstein met eigen ogen gaat bekijken zul je meteen begrijpen waarom er zo vaak gezegd wordt dat dit kasteel een inspiratiebron is geweest voor de Disney, je krijgt er direct het gevoel alsof je in een sprookje leeft!TOURSCHEMA:Vertrek vanuit München gevolgd door een bezoek aan Slot Linderhof, een kasteel in Franse rococostijl geïnspireerd op Versailles en omringd door onberispelijk verzorgde tuinen. Na het bezoek aan Slot Linderhof rijden we verder voor een korte winkel- en fotostop in het charmante dorpje Oberammergau waar je energie op kunt doen voor de tweede helft van je dag. This would have been an excellent tour if the timing had been a bit different. Longer at Oberammergau (time to get to and from car park and get some lunch) and a bit less waiting around at Neuschwanstein. I know that this is not entirely within the tour operators control but was a bit frustrating

The trip is well organized. However, you have to pay 10 extra dollars/euros for the reservation even though you have bought the ticket yourself! Second thing the timing is really tight! You don't have enough time to take pictures or have lunch. it should last one hour longer, same price obviously.

Johnny our guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun! The bus driver also was very careful and ride was smooth. Visiting the castles was easy with Johnny’s help and Oberammergau was a fun little German town to check out and shop in!
I would highly recommend this tour company!!

Beautiful scenery, great tour staff, amazing things to see. Only downside was we only had about 20 minutes to look around Oberammergau, which was a shame as it’s a stunning town. Only other downside is you can’t take photos inside the castle or palace which is bizarre as the photos are all over the internet anyway.

Pros: Very clean bus, guide followed the published schedule. Cons: Guide wasn't good at all. It seems that he had a script which he was delivering in the most boring manner with a pause of few seconds after each word. It charged €33 for palace tickets, but actual cost was around €23. I was suggested that higher cost was due to pre-booking. I don't believe that palaces are charging €10 extra for pre-booking. Even if it's the case, there's a lack of transparency.

This tour was a great day out that we both thoroughly enjoyed. All very well organised and a great itinerary. Our guide on the day Hanna A, I think, was awesome so helpful and friendly and went out of her way to make sure the tour went smoothly. Also very knowledgable and told great stories.

Die Organisation war prima. Es hat alles geklappt. Die Erklärungen waren umfangreich, interessant und gut verständlich. Mit den Eintrittskarten macht das Unternehmen noch einen zusätzlichen Gewinn. Hier wird im Bus der Preis für die Einzeltickets kassiert insgesamt 30 € pro Person. Auf den Karten kann man dann sehen das der Gruppenpreis pro Person nur 23 € ausmachte.
