Dagtocht Toscane: Siena, Bezoek aan een wijnmaker in de Chianti met lunch, en San GimignanoBegin je dag met een boeiend bezoek aan de historische stad Siena. Siena staat bekend vanwege haar middeleeuwse charme en de beroemde Palio paardenrace. Loop door deze fascinerende stad en verken haar rustige tijdloze straten. Wandel over het iconische Piazza del Campo en bestudeer de vele details op het plein... De campanille, het stadhuis, de rechthoekige Fonte Gaia-fontein. Bewonder ook de indrukwekkende Santa Maria Assunta kathedraal en droom even weg in de unieke sfeer van deze stad.Reis vervolgens naar het schilderachtige platteland van de Chianti waar je een authentieke wijnproeverij ervaart. Geniet van een begeleide proefsessie van lokale wijnen, perfect gecombineerd met traditionele Toscaanse gerechten. Je proeft het culinaire erfgoed van Toscane tijdens een heerlijke, lokaal geïnspireerde lunch.En we sluiten de excursie af in nog zo'n geweldige plaats: het charmante stadje San Gimignano. Ze noemen het ookwel het “Manhattan van de Middeleeuwen” vanwege de skyline van middeleeuwse torens. Maak een rondje door het centrum van de stad, je begrijpt al gauw waarom het op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst staat. Snuffel in de plaatselijke ambachtelijke winkels, honing- of salami met truffel, houtsnijwerk, keramiek, you name it. En geniet natuurlijk van het panoramische uitzicht op de omringende wijngaarden en glooiende heuvels.

En la información del tour no queda claro que el punto de salida es bastante distante del centro de Florencia, con lo cual tuvimos que pagar un taxi que costó 60 euros, se pudo haber llegado fácil en tranvía pero no se brinda esa información, ya para el regreso sí lo pudimos hacer mejor.

Une excellente journée et notre guide Johnny était super agréable et très gentil. Notre guide Julia à Sienne était très passionnée et compétente et nous avons découvert cette merveilleuse ville médiévale. Notre visite a un vignoble a été forte en apprentissage des vins Chianti. À faire absolument!

Nice Hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We found this Hotel a little hard to find. Maybe a better sign out front? Other than that the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. I very much enjoyed my early morning chat with the breakfast attendant.

Prenez l'excursion sans le déjeuner (infecte dont la propreté du domaine laisse a désirer il fallait voir les WC) la dégustation du chianti sans plus
L'organisation par My tour reste bonne avec un effort à faire sur les guides pour les groupes. Nous avons perdu du temps pour le temps libre à sienne car la guide faisait la présentation de la ville à la fois en français puis en Italien.

Very busy time of the year. Tour was in a double decker bus to accommodate large group, but tour guide was excellent. For a taste of Tuscany, I would recommend this tour and perhaps visit in a more leisurely way during off season.

Great if your an Assassin's Creed fan. Unfortunately, it was rushed trying to get it all in (20 minutes in MonteRiggioni). The guide in Siena had to talk fast and added to his accent it was difficult to hear everything he said but what I did was fascinating.

We were really happy with this tour and would recommend to anyone who's looking to see a bit of countryside. Full day out and plenty of time in every destination. Really cheap deal for value. Lovely lunch with a wine tasting in nice country farm.

Long day but amazing tour. Take water and an umbrella or poncho in case. Great places visited and lunch was excellent!!! Only bummer was some of the locations had awesome towers that we could not get access to. Reasonable price for a full day of events! Tour guides were great. Comfy bus and I would go again for sure!!
