"Ti faremo un'offerta che non potrai rifiutare." Beh, dopotutto questa era terra di mafia. Infatti, Hollywood ha invaso questa parte del mondo per girare alcune scene della trilogia de *Il Padrino*, quindi questo tour toccherà due paesini di montagna siciliani che sono finiti sul grande schermo, per rivivere alcune delle scene più famose.
Poco più che città fantasma, questi borghi siciliani sono ormai praticamente abbandonati. La prima tappa sarà la piccola Savoca, dove si trova la chiesa in cui si è sposato Michael Corleone – interpretato da Al Pacino. Camminerete sulle sue orme mentre esplorerete i vicoli tortuosi.

Guidens information var lärorik och underhållande. Om var scener ur Gudfadern filmerna spelats in men också om andra filmer och om tv serien The White Lotus. Tydlig och bra engelska. Restaurangen var bra och överraskade med den godaste raviolin jag smakat. Den hade pistaschsås och avnjöts med siciliansk öl Stretto. Mums! Bra att man kunde välja att sitta inomhus pga värmen. Mindre bra var den offentliga toaletten i Forza d’Agro som saknade toapper och tvål.

Der Reiseleiter hat sehr gut deutsch gesprochen, umfangreich über die Geschichte vom Paten und über die Drehorte erzählt. Es war sehr unterhaltsam. Sehr stressfreie Tour, da es auch aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen entsprechend langsam voran ging. Erwähnen möchte ich, dass die Gäste vorab darüber informiert werden sollten, dass es einen Halt in einem schönen Restaurant gibt, wo zu Mittag gegessen werden kann, oder auch nur, um etwas zu trinken. Ca. 1 Stunde.

Helt fantastisk utflykt med huvudbetoning på Gudfadern men med denna fantastiskt duktiga guide Fabios kunskap om Sicilien, historian, religionerna och allt annat fick vi så mycket mer för pengarna. 4 filmer/serier vävdes in i denna utflykt bl.a GF, White Lotus, Jessica. Makalöst bra!

De Godfather tour via TUI is echt een aanrader. Wij hebben genoten. Gids Fabio was erg enthousiast en heeft ons veel verteld over de film 'the Godfather', de plekken waar deze is opgenomen, ook vertelde hij over de geschiedenis van Sicilië en de Maffia. We hebben veel kennis opgedaan. De dorpjes die bezocht worden zijn echt prachtig en de rit ernaartoe ( en terug) ook. Ook onze complimenten voor de buschauffeur die heel behendig en kalm de touringcar door de bochten en het verkeer manoeuvreerde.

Positiv war, dass nicht nur über den Paten berichtet wurde sondern auch über weitere auf Sizilien gedrehte Filme. Es war eine sehr kurzweilige, amüsante Führung durch die Filmgeschichte. Der Guide hat gekonnt auf Englisch und Deutsch moderiert. Leider waren fast alle Kirchen Baustellen- um so schöner werden sie aber nach Abschluss der Arbeiten sein. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Es war nicht nur eine Tour bzgl. Der Pate, sondern auch viele geschichtliche Aspekte über die Region und Sizilien, was uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Der Tourleiter (Fabio) war einfach super und hat das Ganze zu etwas sehr besonderem gemacht.

Fabio was a very knowledgable Tour Guide and Alessandro was our bus driver. Fabio spoke about the Godfather Films where some of the scenes were filmed in and around 2 old villages of Savoca and Forza D’Agro both perched high up in the mountains (40 Minutes from Taormina). Fabio also spoke about the historic and culture of Sicily which was very interesting. Highly recommend this tour.

Toller Ausflug mit vielen Informationen über die Filme, aber auch über die Geschichte Sizilliens und Land und Leute. Der Reiseführer Fabio war super! Der Busfahrer Giuseppe hat uns sicher an die Besichtigungsort und zurück gefahren. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Ausflug und empfehlenswert.

De busreis begon goed met de juiste ophaaltijd. Chauffeur Mario nam de haarspeldbochten feilloos en zijn rijervaring bleek ook op de smalle wegen die spannend werden bij tegenliggers. Gids Fabio wist veel te vertellen over de geschiedenis en de bezienswaardigheden. Hij bracht je ook terug in de sfeer van de Godfather films.

Heel 'toeristisch' om te doen natuurlijk, maar nog steeds leuk en onze gids Michaela gaf tijdens de rit naar de dorpjes toe genoeg andere info over Sicilië en haar geschiedenis om het interessant te maken. MAN BEHØVER IKKE HAVE SET FILMENE! Turen tager dig ud og ser 2 vidunderlige små byer i fantasitiske omgivelser. Filmene er optaget i disse byer, men selv uden den viden er byerne og bjergene nogle af de fineste og mest rustikke Sicilanske byer. Guiden er velvidende og en utrolig god fortæller der fortæller om historien bag The Godfather, men også om hitorien omkring byerne og mafiaen på Sicilien generelt. Jeg har ikke set filmen, men turen var stadig en af de bedste ture jeg har været på før.

One of the best tours we have ever been on! Our guide Fabio was fantastic! Full of knowledge, impressively moving seamlessly from English to German, incredibly welcoming and with a great sense of humour. He made sure the tour was well organised and ran very smoothly. A very safe and comfortable journey on the coach. Lots of information about the godfather films and visits to the sites where filming took place, but also a great focus on the villages and their history. Highly recommend!

This was a longer tour (about 7 hours from pick up to drop off) than advertised but absolutely worth it. Fabio was a brilliant guide, knowledgeable, entertaining and enthusiastic. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned but it is a lot of walking in the heat (I went in September) and some steep climbs and steps so be prepared. Worth watching the 1st 2 films again before you go (at least the Sicily scenes)

Nice to see more of Sicily. The guide was well informed and knew film and location well. Didn’t like the fact that you had multiple nationalities on board, requiring guide to speak in multiple languages. This slowed the tours narrative that became a bit tedious.

From being picked up outside our hotel and dropped off at the end, the tour was interesting, comfortable and thoughtfully put together. Fabio our guide was knowledgeable, sharing lots of fascinating viewpoints, not just about the Godfather but also about the cultural life of Sicily. There was time in both villages to explore. We were even able to enjoy a drink in Bar Vitelli. On a hot day there was limited shade to shelter, which for some people was tricky but manageable. Food stop was very good

The trip was wonderful. The guide was very knowledgeable and told us everything about the sites of the Godfather filming and facts about Sicily. Would suggest it needed a little bit more time at each village as felt a little rushed. Tour pick up was 20 minutes late

Whilst this experience was headlined as a “Godfather Tour”, it offered so much more. Our guide Fabio was fantastic - very knowledgeable not only about the Godfather films but also the history of the Maffia and Sicily as a whole, providing some interesting and engaging facts throughout. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour with some beautiful scenery along the way. A special mention to our driver who navigated the hairpin bends with such skill. Great value for money, thoroughly recommended.

Es war eine wunderbare informative, kulturell und auch geschichtlicher Ausflug. Besonders gut gefallennhst mir, dass natürlich ersteinmal der Film und die Anekdoten während des Drehs im Vordergrund standen ABER auch die Geschichte die Kunstgeschichte in den Kirchen , die Geschichte Siiziliens im Fokus standen. En riktigt härlig tur med en supertrevlig och kunnig guide. Vi fick se flera av de riktiga platserna från Gudfadern-filmerna, men också höra mycket spännande om lokal historia, konst och kultur. Både intressant och roligt – rekommenderas verkligen!

The tour was great. Fabio our tour guide was very informative, he did not just tell us about the Godfather the movie, he also gave us the history of the villages and the history of the Mafia. Lunch is not included but we stopped off in one of the villages which had a lovely restaurant with great food and service. I must also say the coach driver was very good coping with those very windy roads. All In all a very good tour worth the money.

Ik vond de Godfather Tour in Sicilië echt prachtig. Gebucht im Hotel bei Carmelia(TUI-Mitarbeiterin vor Ort), wie schon so oft unkompliziert und super nett. Auf der Tour wurden wir von Fabio begleitet, ein Guide der die Tour zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht hat. Es geht nicht nur um den Paten. Man erfährt auch sehr viel über die Dörfer, die Geschichte, die Kirchen, die Mafia… Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht zuzuhören. Der Busfahrer bringt die Leute sicher über abenteuerliche Serpentinen. Ein ganz toller Ausflug. Riesen Dank dafür!!!!

Enjoyed the experience. It didn't matter that my wife and I had not seen any of the films. The trip was mainly about the history and culture and was pleasantly interesting given by a first class guide. However we didn't like the cafe where we ate lunch. Very poor pizzas in our opinion.

When some members of the tour were 'lost' it became apparent that some basic exchange of info should have taken place at the start of the trip. E.g introductions by all, it was only a 17 person trip. Turen var på flera språk, både engelska, tyska och italienska samtidigt. Guiden var duktig men det tar tid att berätta samma sak på flera språk, och det blir lite jobbigt att lyssna på när man inte förstår språket och ändå inte kan undvika att höra det. Är det en guide som berättar på ett enda språk så får man höra mycket mer. Det var väl inte dåligt men kunde ha varit bättre.

The driver was also excellent, we felt safe on the narrow mountain roads. The only problem we had was finding somewhere to have lunch as it was very busy with cruise boat guests.

I've done the Godfather tour 3 times (every time I visit Sicily) I just love it! The scenery is stunning and it's just seeing where the film was made and imagining what it must have been like back in 1972 when the filming took place. If I ever visit Sicily again I would definitely do the tour again.

The tour lasted six hours, not only did it include a tour of some of the scenes of the Godfather movies, the guide also covered lots of other history. The tour included a visit to a number of historical old towns and we were also provided with plenty of free time to explore. What really made the trip was the guide, he was excellent. He had a vast amount of knowledge about the area and was clearly passionate about his home country. The guide was called Fabio - he was brilliant!

Tolle Tour. Toller Guide, man hat viel gesehen, sehr tolles Setting. In zweiten Dorf hätte man vielleicht ja etwas mehr Zeit haben können, aber dies führt zu keinerlei Punktabzug. Nicht nur etwas über Der PATE erfahren, sondern auch Geschichte Siziliens. 100% Weiterempfehlung!!

Die Tour wurde von einer jungen Frau begleitet (Name nicht gemerkt). Sie gab sehr charmant, souverän und mit viel Liebe zu ihrer Heimat Erklärungen in englisch und deutsch. Tolles Erlebnis auch ohne Kenntnis der Filme, schon wegen der Fahrkünste auf spektakulären Bergstrassen. Granita in der "Paten"-Bar - schöne Idee! Wunderschöne Ausblicke und gute Pausen-Empfehlungen. Jotenkin odotin ehkä enemmän - hieno kokemus toki silti. Opas oli todella rento ja hauska! Bussissa ilmastoinnin myötä jääkaappilämpötila, onneksi tuli avattua suu ja sanottua oppaalle, niin kuljettaja pisti sitä sitten pienemmälle. Olisi ikävää saada ilmastointiflunssa lomalla. Suosittelen siis busseilla matkustavia varaamaan huivin/takin tmv mukaan, ettei palellu! Ja Sisiliassakin voi sataa, se tuli tällä reissulla huomattua, joten senkin puolesta hyvä varautua.

Retki oli kaikkiaan fantastinen kokemus. Oppaamme oli loistava ja kertoi mielenkiintoisesti retkemme kohteista myös ylimääräisiä pieniä yksityiskohtia, joka kertoi oppaan laajasta tiedosta ja osaamisesta. Hänen puheensa oli myös selvää ja kielitaito virheetöntä. Retkellä oli koko ajan todella turvallinen olo, joka takasi täyden nauttimisen elämyksestä. Er worden enkele restaurants voorgesteld om te gaan eten, bij het eerste dat je tegenkomt wordt je eigenlijk al door de eigenaars wat verplicht om daar te gaan zitten maar ze kunnen de toeloop van klanten niet aan. Te weinig tijd om te eten. De ophaling was 20 minuten later dan voorzien.

Our guide, Fabio included local history facts which I thoroughly enjoyed. Also, he offered options to self explore. We particularly wanted to see the cappuccines which our guide helped us with. My only disappointment was not hearing the Godfather theme tune as we entered the coach. But I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Taormina.

Päiväretki oli hieno ja säät suosivat. Ensimmäisessä kylässä oli aikaa tutustua kylään ja juoda kahvit mahtavassa maisemassa. Toisessa kylässä oli liian vähän aikaa ja lounaan nauttiminen oli mahdotonta. Aikaa oli varattu n. 45 min ja siinä ajassa käveltiin myös nähtävyyden luokse. Jos aikaa olisi ollut enemmän, retki olisi ollut täydellinen!

Opas oli erittäin miellyttävä ja ammattitaitoinen. Bussikuski ajoi turvallisen oloisesti. Saimme kattavan tietopaketin Kummisetä elokuvista, jopa nuorin viihtyi vaikka ei ymmärtänyt kaikkea (opastus englanniksi ja saksaksi). Erityisesti opas onnistui luomaan rennon tunnelman retkellä, silti iso ryhmä oli ajoissa joka paikassa, mutta omia polkuja pystyi kulkemaan tarvittaessa.

Kiva puolipäiväretki, näki vuoristokyliä. Opas oli hauska ja hyvä. Wc mahdollisuus olisi voinut olla parempi ja toisessa kylässä olisi ollut kiva, jos olisi ollut aikaa myös kahvilakäynnille.

Minder leuk.wel uur gereden om iedereen op te halen.ook weer uur terug.lange maar wel mooie reis. No TUI rep on site had to use the app. Put into an annex, very steep access and room frequency smelled of bad drains. Pool had no shallow end and started at 2.4metres so didn't use the pool. Food good and staff very helpful and friendly.

Aangename ontdekking van twee pittoreske dorpjes in Sicilië, waar opnames van de beroemde film plaatsvonden. Aangename en vlotte reisleider, maar ze gaf verhoudingsgewijze veel info over het dorpsleven en (te) weinig over de link met de film. Maar goed, we genoten van deze uitstap. Aanbevolen.

leuke gids , vertelde heel veel interessante zaken. Het bijhorend eten was niet leuk gebracht, de menu werd letterlijk in je keel geduwd, de 3 gangen hebben ze binnen de 20 minuten geserveerd, er waren mensen die hun voorgerecht niet op hadden en al een volgend menu voorgeschoteld werd. Der Guide war super, er hat umfangreiches geschichtliches Wissen und es hat Spaß gemacht, ihm zuzuhören. Der Besuch in Savoca ist sehr lohnenswert! Den zweiten Ort hätte man sich durchaus sparen können, hier gab es leider nur wenig.

Upeat maisemat olivat iso plussa tällä reissulla. Elokuvat jo hyvin tuntevana oli mukava kuulla muustakin paikallisesta elämästä ja historiasta, aikaa siihenkin oli riittämiin. Opas erittäin hyvä tyyppi kuten myös kuljettaja joka luotsasi meidät turvallisesti vuorenrinteillä paikasta toiseen.

Två personer har tjattrat på bussen men tack och lov de lämnade bussen. Guiden fick snällt be de vara tystare men de tog illa upp det. Det var inte hans fel någonstans. Det var synd att man inte kunde äta lunch på någon bättre ställen. Det finns en del bättre restauranger.

Flot tur med besøg af de 2 landsbyer hvor Goodfather filmen er optaget. Meget fin gennemgang af kultur og historik af guiden som gik utrolig meget ind i rollen som formidler. Vi fik rigtig meget at vide om mafiaens rolle - og en noget ny politisk vinkel på deres virke. En guide med megen kant ????.

Our tour guide was excellent and gave lots of information and always helpful. The driver drove safely up all the winding roads and was very good. It was a great day out and beautiful scenery and would highly recommend the tour even if you don't know the film.

We were greeted warmly by our guide as we boarded our coach for the trip. Our guide was knowledgeable & we enjoyed our time in the village of Savoca which was beautiful. The second village we visited was ok but we were not there very long. Overall it was a good trip.

Tijdens de excursie zie je veel mooie uitzichten en kun je mooie fotos maken met een mooie achtergrond. Echter, is het stuk ‘godfather’ heel klein. Dit komt omdat er maar een klein stuk van de film gemaakt is in Sicilië. Toch goed om te weten dat het geen goed gevulde excursie is. Er zijn 3 kleine plekken die bezocht worden. Verder was de reisleider vrij passief vergeleken met een andere reisleider (ook van Tui) wie tijdens een andere excursie aanwezig was.

Guiden var överlag jättebra! Kunnig, personlig & mycket sympatisk. Önskar bara att hon berättat mer om hur sicilianare förhåller sig till maffian, och hur maffians makt och motståndet mot maffian ser ut idag och de senaste 20 åren, om det fick vi inget veta. Hade också stannat längre i Savoca än i Forza d’Dagro!

Fantastiskt hotell med underbar utsikt över medelhavet. Ren och fin i rummen. All inklusive kunde ha haft fler variationer på mat och dryck men maten var ändå ok.

Retki jäi vähän ohueksi kummisetä teemaan liittyen, näistä ei kerrottu tarpeeksi. Retken nimeksi sopisi paremmin joku vierailu lähikaupungeissa tms. Kylät olivat joka tapauksessa nättejä. Retki voisi olla lyhyempikin, aikaa oli ehkä liikaa molemmissa paikoissa.

Coach was comfortable and driver was good. Guide was disappointing. She was pleasant but didn’t seem to be knowledgeable at all on The Godfather movie which was the whole point of the trip. She was quite boring but this may have been due to language barrier.
